Much has happened in the past month of their journey of enlightened physical relationship. Kissing, cuddling, caressing, touching, hugging and all that. Madly in love, their response to each other is as passionate as you would expect. Yet Arnav still has supreme self control over his maddening desires for his beloved wife. Where other men would have wasted no time in getting what they wanted from their wives, Arnav is still giving her time to adjust and become comfortable with the idea of the inevitable...the moment he will take charge of their physical relationship and take it to the supreme level. Khushi has also started feeling a strange longing for something more.
His trust issues with Khushi are still present but he has unwillingly ceded some, only some control of his tightly controlled life, all because he feels the need to see her happy. And he is getting richly rewarded in this fussing -over -him routine with a daily dose of passionate, stolen kisses, in the mornings!
His longing for that FINAL step, that ultimate prize, makes him restless, his self control wearing down and getting thinner with every day. Then on his most special day, this thin thread snapped and he marched up to his drenched,alluring wife, stammering out his desires to her. Something, she herself had been awaiting to experience with her handsome husband for so long.
So finally the life turning moment has arrived for our beloved couple. Crossing that physical threshold and consummating their marriage. And what better day to gift herself to her ravenous husband then on his birthday? What better manner when both are drenched yet their bodies are enflamed with desire? what better time then daytime, when they can clearly see each other clearly and there are no secrets between them?
Yet, somehow, I get the feeling that this is just one of many, many hurdles and milestone they will conquer together. Most of these obstacles will rise from Arnav's intrinsic lack of faith in anyone, even Khushi herself. Moreover, the unwelcome presence of Rishabh in the foreground, with his well meaning protectiveness of Khushi, coupled with the ominous presence of Shyam, in the background, sensing that Khushi is the weakness of both the Raizada men that he hates and plots against, is sure to cause problems for Khushi and Arnav , individually and as a couple.
