You really had to leave it there!!!!!! That's just cruel - oh I so can't wait for the next chapter now (I know, I say this after every chapter!)
This chapter was just great, from beginning to end and I loved reading it :)
I liked how Khushi was portrayed as a wife, through the eyes of Buaji (her in-law/mother figure), her own self, and then by her husband. It was interesting to read all those perspectives - now Khushi and Buaji know that all of Khushi's wifey concerns screams love, but when will Arnav come to know and even realize it??
I'm a little scared for Khushi that she's giving up so much for her husband, when he is so volatile, untrusting, and cynical when someone goes out of his their way to do something nice for him. Every marriage comes with a whole lot of compromises (from what I have heard), but it seems like she's the only one willing to make any changes. And she's not just making some small compromises, she's basically altering her whole life - the time she wakes up, her whole morning routine, how she dresses, not spending time with her best friends; basically abandoning her own way of life that she had before she had gotten married. Again, I understand circumstances change when one gets married, but I just feel like she needs to receive some kind of love/recognition in return in order not to get burnt out by all of it. I just really hope Arnav realizes soon why Khushi is going out of her way to do all this for him; her love is strong and pure and it's just so sad that it's not being reciprocated in an obvious manner.
LOL at the reason why Arnav was brooding at the breakfast table...he just wants to spend some alone time with his wife, and she's only worried about saving time ( only to help him reach this meeting on time, but still)...Khushi's maturity showed as she understood her husband and let it go. I guess this level of maturity was also attained by getting to know the full details about Arnav's mom - so glad that she found out the root cause of his cynicism - it will only help their relationship.
Arnav doesn't want a gift, nor a party, but he wants his wife, and now that's he made it explicitly clear, I can't wait to find out what happens. I understand that Khushi herself wants their physical relationship to progress as well, but I just want her to realize that he's not just wanting her for purely physical needs, that he actually truly cares and loves her, maybe even more than she loves him, before they move forward.
Please please please update soon - this cliffhanger is making me so anxious!!!!
