Since you promised to post new chapter on valentine's day, I can't delay commenting anymore.
But honestly I feel I need few more readings of this chapter to be able to know what I really feel about it.
I had really wanted Khushi to not kiss him just for a proof and glad she did so. I can totally understand Arnav's insecurity if not his demand. Hugging someone after knowing that a guy loves you probably will be unacceptable to many men I know, and I would be equally upset if the genders are reversed. To think about it, probably his demand also doesn't seem weird to many as I am writing this.
But glad even if the kiss happened it was not for proving anything then. And I liked as you put it - Khushi didn't want to sacrifice her first kiss to a misunderstanding.
I liked Khushi's outburst after Arnav misunderstanding her reaction to the first kiss. How long can she take his thick-headedness..
I had totally expected the question and Khushi's answer about Arnav not liking those - about the bangles. So glad it did come up.
The sleepless night part I think fell short to my expectation. I would've liked to have more of it. I think it's because the update came after so long it had really built up more expectations, and in general at the end I didn't feel contended as I had thought I'd be. That's why maybe I was not yet ready to comment even after going through it multiple times.
I think communication is key to make any relationship successful, and most of the times it's not because people are just not ready to talk or think wisely. The most important part is think from other's perspective or let go off the ego. Same is happening with Arnav & Khushi. He was staying away form her for one reason. And she was sulking thinking negative. I am sure Arnav is still going to take long time to open up with Khushi.
I have been thinking to say this for long, and I am taking this opportunity today.
You are one of those many authors who say that you take all your readers are equally important to you, and one of the few who really mean it. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to comment first after one of your post, and wouldn't have missed one update by few minutes before I hit the bed in spite of me stalking the thread for hours. You have no set of favorite people posting right after the update, hardly any dedications, and hardly any reference to comments of a set of readers. 👏
The best part about your writing is simplicity and probably the most important reason why this story is so popular. There might be other stories that are more intellectual in terms of genre, writing style etc. But your story & style appeals the masses. So keep it up. 😊
p.s. I'd really like to read CLG, but I think I am going to wait for few more weeks. I realize I am not good at keeping track of ongoing stories. Waiting for MKM updates is enough as of now 😊
