"The Arnav which was bound to the earth as a tireless ocean had no business wanting the Khushi that made the stars twinkle with happiness in the night sky." That was one of the most beautiful lines I have ever read. It captured the entire story in that sentence.

That was quite a surprise though! Never in a million years, had I expected the roles to be reversed, where Khushi was affluent and Arnav, surviving on a pay check- to pay check basis. But you've portrayed the characters beautifully Arnav, is an honest man, and the only bread winner of the family. He was offered the world, and just took Khushi's hands and walked out. Although he used is sister's marriage as an excuse, but his love for Khushi was hidden in that 'acceptance' of his hand in marriage.

Khushi is a strong and an independent girl. Despite her growing up in such an affluent family, she still managed to be grounded. She went from a mansion to a mere one bedroom apartment, but not once did she complain about it. She still managed to keep her smile and love her husband. She certainly saved this relationship from going kaput. Had it not been for her determination to get Arnav talking, they would have missed such an opportunity to actually know each other well, and show how much they loved each other.

But you know, I was actually waiting to see the remnants of the night that they finally became one. I wanted to see how they would take the relationship forward. ;) Dirty thoughts. Dirty thoughts.
