Thanks for a lovely update too!!
I felt strongly for the anguish and insecurities of Arnav. I empathise with his situation and understand the fact that he is coming out of his shell slowly. His fierce need and craving for Khushi, her acceptance, her love is also palpable. BUT...
Inspite of all this I still feel that Khushi should not give in to his demand for kiss as the means to PROVE herself. The first conscious intimacy between husband and wife should not be on such terms. There should be real need to feel closer to each other, not the demand made from anger and jealousy on one side and helpless need to prove her truth from the other.
Till now khushi has always given in to arnav's manipulations knowingly or unknowingly. But I feel that NO GIRL should ever be forced, coerced, blackmailed or influenced in any ways emotionally or physically to accept intimacy of any kind.
Today she has to draw the line. She has to convine Arnav of her willingness to move ahead with him at every level, but at the same time she should hold her self worth intact. I feel that if she gives in today, her marriage will always follow the same pattern. He will demand something from her as a matter of some reassurance or proof, she will give in as she loves him, then he will again procastinate thinking why she did it, is it because she loves him or feels pressure. Khushi has to break this vicious circle today if she wants to emerge as an equal in this marriag, If she wants her marriage to be based ultimately on trust and not compromise. Tough job for her. but she, with purity of heart and mind CAN and will doit. And you dear annonymous, I have full faith in you as a writer. You wiill maintain the delicate balance and give us the right path in your story!!
