This one is really a cliffhanger.

Its been a while since I last commented, 2-3 chapters maybe. I hope you forgive. I am extremely sorry.

Coming to the update, I must say Arnav has taken quite an step forward, in terms of being honest of his feelings to himself, trusting them and trying to listen to his heart. But its his past, etched into his mind for almost all his life till now, thats bent on pulling him back. And seeing Khushi hugging Rishab, when she hasn't shared any sort of even such intimacy with him consiously doesn't really help his case. I am not really disappointed as I understand you can't expect someone to let go of all that he has been & change overnight. I am actually glad that he was willing to let Khushi explain, albeit forcefully and had that convo with her. And relieved as well that he didn't hear Khushi saying I love you to Rishab, I don't how he would've reacted. It would've been worse. I am also happy to note that he doesn't want Khushi's care & concern as a wife's duty but as a real whole deal & that means emotionally as well.

Khushi here has been so mature & understanding. She doesn't know his past yet understands whats troubling him, that its not just she who will be hurt by his accusations but as a result of this whole ordeal even he will suffer. Its commendable how she looks past the accusations of cheating & betrayal and takes it upon herself to make her husband see sense, his importance & goes to promise him that she wouldn't hug Rishab ever again just for his happiness. The way she desperately yet truthfully & sincerely counters his every question cum accusation of unfaithfulness was just so great. And now for the kiss I don't know what she would do. Would it be right to kiss him just to prove? Or maybe she would but let him know why, not to prove but coz she feels that way? Whatever she does, what matters would be how Arnav reacts to it.

As for Rishab, it would be interesting to see his role in the story now that he has accepted Khushi's marriage & is ready to be just her friend, not only for his selfish reasons but to look out for her as well. His reasons I feel are genuine, from what he is going through & what he has seen of Arnav.

Arnav is so much in khushi, loves her longs to touch to feel her poor thing didn't realize yet how hard he fell he was impatient restless was eager to see to meet to touch her poor baby his past is too dark to let go. bad memories betrayal hurt just occupy his mind whenever he thinks of taking a step towards her the ghost of past didn't allow him to do so bitter thoughts always appear on first given opportunity so the victim is poor khushi that to seen hugging his biggest enemy her BBF + lover though one sided when he saw rashibh n khushi together he thought worst of it how'd he forgot how his wife is ,being kind hearted she'll defiantly do what she feels right for their friendship

arnav returning from work trip after four long days and all he wants to do is meet his wife, see her and take in her fragrance and embrace her and sleep... the phrases that you used bring about the depth of his feelings and the longing that he feels for khushi -

he now revisits the long forgotten feeling of missing someone,

for him coming home is synonymous to taking her in his arms and reveling in her fragrance... and he knows that there is something called coming home and knows how it feels...

he has definitely found one upside of marriage and he knows his wife is the best part of their marriage, hopefully many more are to come...

and he is now developing that slight courage to have expectations...

also arnav wants more from his wife and after the little encounter it must be really hard for him to stop as he is already attracted to her and he has not seen any resistance from her side either... and its only natural... but is it right to demand it now, so early when he is not sure if she is comfortable with taking the next step or even wants it?

i liked the idea of the "whole deal" for him which also includes emotional investment, happiness and faithfulness, he knows the value and importance of all the ingredients which make a happy, successful married life and wants just that from his life partner and he wants to tread the line slowly and control his heart from slipping away... he wants a guarantee before he lets him loose in the whirlwind and the more he wants to forge ahead with Khushi, the more he feels unsure about everything... what a situation to be in, so real and so not wanted by anybody...

the idea of a surprise couldn't have backfired in a worse way... kya khushi aaj hi ka din mill tha? when he was so happy and slowly but surely wants to believe that you were his, you were the right person, you could be trusted, you cared and he dared to expect something from you, here comes your friend Mr RR again...

Mr RR, bhai i can understand that its difficult to be just friends with such an angel as khushi when u love her so much, but what a timing to make up ur mind to start afresh... although i liked his gesture of just keeping a hand on her head and not hugging her...

and khuhsi itni khush ho gayi ki she hugged him?? i think it was wrong on her part firstly, since she knows that he loves her so she should not give him any hopes or do anything that rekindles his emotions or brings awakwardeness between them and secondly she is married and knows her hubby, arnavji is not a fan of Mr RR and keeping a cordial friendship also wud be difficult so such acts are a no-no... yes, it must hv happened in the spur of the moment that u were already happy that arnavji is coming and now ur friend is also responding after a long time but then khushi darling Control!! and be thoughtful of the fact sweety that ur hubby is touchy about such matters as he gets jealous and angry on small things related to you and gets pacified only when u make him believe he is the most important and others including Mr RR don't matter... he is slowly opening the windows to his heart for you and letting his guards down, why do u want the walls to be re-erected and be fortified with iron gates??

but its good that he didn't go down in his morale the way he went in the past... he says/thinks that she has to STAY faithful to him and he will have no other way... letting her go is not an option and he will make her stay... if one is in a situation where the person doesn't want to stay and still u are adamant and after them, it will only give u pain by such stubbornness, and its better to let go for ur sanity and their happiness... but luckily khushi here is all his, totally devoted to him- earlier as a friend, then as a wife and now as a beloved... she cannot and will not ever leave him... so now arnav just has to take it easy and see through her actions and reactions and realize that she is here to stay and she is his, only his...

the car wala scene was good, how he is silent and back answering her in his mind in his anger and then bursting out in anger at her remark about Mr RR not talking to her and how khushi realizes, not so late, that he must have seen the hug and not liked it at all... and how she handles the situation and asks him to talk at home... The fact that he notices even in his anger the change in her attire and the minute details of her appearance, the symbols which connect her to him - the vermillion and chuda... and how he gets infuriated that their absence is in a way are taking her away from him and makes him think she is not that into the marriage anymore... (I wud want him to ask her the reason later, and request her to wear the chuda, mangalsutra and vermillion and her saris too...)

in the room scene he so angry and is all set to burn her in his anger and it seems he won't believe, understand or even listen to anything, but his heart was just waiting for that small sign to revive his hope in her answers and when he got it he just wanted to cling onto it... and khushi read the sign well and gave him the answer that he wanted... that if he asks her she won't do what he doesn't like, in this case the wretched hug...

but he still can't take it to be true and wants the damned thing that pinches his heart to be cleared once and for all that is if she loves someone else? It must hv been so difficult for him to ask her this...

and pat comes the answer, NO!! how can she, she never did because she loves her arnavji and was so happy in that realisation of love... and then comes her declaration to prove to him her loyalty and sincerity that she is his wife and he is the only one in her life and she would never think about any guy in that manner and she belongs to him only-mind body and soul...

but is that enough?? No... the devil wants proof... a KISS?

will khushi oblige or will she refuse and move out in anger? how does arnav link this to her sincerity and loyalty? is it just to surpass the hug that she bestowed on someone else and satisfy his ego and bruised trust and heart? will he stop khushi and tell her he believes her and take her in his arms or let her kiss him and mellow down his anger and fire raging inside him...

i want their first 'conscious' kiss to be a memorable one and consensual... it should be out of love and passion and not out of some misunderstanding and challenge...

my sweet angel khuhsi and (vulnerable) arnav deserve better...

hopefully u change the situation to match up to my expectations or may be make it even better and justified... Anxiously waiting for the next update...
