This was such a long update and yet when the end came, I was so not ready to stop. I just wanted to see what she will do...cliffhanger? Really?😉. I am eagerly waiting to see how Khushi handles...
My heart just breaks for Arnav, the emotionally and psychologically handicapped individual. How horrible it must feel to think that your parents were stuck with you and never wanted or loved you. Same with your wife, the woman he can not live without. That you had to manipulate her to keep her in your life...of her own free will she would not want to be there.
He has always needed her in his life but now has started feeling the faintest stirrings of expectations and this scares him...that he will be hurt again...that he should not trust her or life to give him anything more, anything better. He is afraid of believing that she is happy and committed and capable of loving him.
He feels so alone and insecure and has no faith that anyone will want him for himself or that anyone can love him. He suspects everyone and uses his mother as a yardstick on marital faithfulness. This sums up his perspective..."Betrayals. Heartbreaks. The sum total of his life. ".
Poor Khushi has no idea of the damaged man who lives behind the facade that Arnav presents. I hold Sumar responsible for this. He should have told Khushi about Arnav and the Raizada families illustrious past.
Khushi is such a good soul and so committed to her marriage and husband that rather than be angry, hurt and humiliated by his accusations, she is giving him a defense and assurances.
Into this toxic mix of emotions comes Rishab, convinced that he needs to protect Khushi from her husband😡.
