This update did surprise me. Thank you. But it left me wanting to read more and anxious for dear Khushi in the end. I guess the next part is how Arnav is angry and distant and about how she pines for him like in the song you gave as a teaser.

Arnav is so involved in his life with Khushi that he didn't even realise that one day he will start missing her and staying away from her for even 4 days will be difficult. But this distance has made him realise that where Khushi is concerned he really feels for her. He has her imprinted all over his memories. And she like a loving and dutiful wife hasn't let him think otherwise. Calling him, fussing over him, making him feel needed and wanted, like there was a safe haven to return to, where he didn't have to mull over him being a burden. His courage to believe in Khushi had taken root in his heart so much so that he muted the voice of his head that was warning him not to put his guards down, that she was still friends with Rishab, that she might be playing him. He still told himself that Khushi would not hurt him that way. And then, his fears were proved right with what he saw. Its good that he didn't hear what she said or else that would have been entirely another labyrinth for Khushi to solve.

I've noticed before, in the chapters you've written, Arnav has this perception about Indian girls in particular, that they don't get touchy-feely with anyone and he thinks the same about Khushi. He even felt awkward and surprised when she hugged him publicly after their marriage. So when she 'tightly' hugged Rishab at the gates of their office, it must have left a very bad impression.

He is possessive in nature. It shows in his thought process. He wants her heart to beat only for him. He wants her to be close only to him, exclusively. He wants them to be equals. She is the only one for him and he wants to be the only one for her.

I like the way you showed Khushi's thoughts. He left for the trip right after she realised that she was in love with him. That must have made her sad that she couldn't spend time with him. She made so many phone calls because she was missing him too. She was so excited that she was finally going to meet him after 4 days. But then circumstances suddenly changed. Being the man Arnav is, I don't think she thought he would come to pick her up even before he went home. I don't think it is anyone's fault and this was inevitable anyway. Sometimes the best way to make someone trust you is prove to them how wrong they were when they didn't. I've said this before, Khushi hasn't given Arnav any solid reason to trust her. He is a cynic and she knows it. Its not about just mistrusting her, he doesn't trust anyone. And he wasn't always like this,he became so. Yes, he loves Khushi and she means alot to him, but we shouldn't forget there was another woman he loved almost as much and all she did was make a fool out of him.

Another thing is, he doesn't have any problem with her defending Shyam because Shyam isn't interested in her, he ran away from their wedding. But he knows that Rishab is. He hates Rishab more because he tried to take Khushi away from him.

And Rishab, well, all I say say is he will get better with time. Khushi was just happy having her friend back. But I don't think she should have pushed it so much with him. She should have left him alone. She didn't realise that maybe talking to her and being friends with her will not be easy for him after she rejected him. This is where her difference in behaviour towards Arnav and Rishab lies. She instantly understands what Arnav feels and wants and gives it to him, but with Rishab she wants to have her way.

I sympathise with Arnav here. Its the same way someone might feel when you think your best friend must have missed you so much when you were gone but you come back and see that she has replaced you with a new friend. You feel cheated. He has seen so much deceit that he doesn't recognize genuineness. She has ingrained it in him before that she has to wear all the things that symbolise that she is a married woman. She didn't even listen to him when he told her not to wear the bangles. And suddenly she isn't wearing those things, that too when he was gone. It doesn't mean anything to him, but he knows it does a lot to her, then why the new look. His mind has already processed why not to believe her. And then Khushi goes and makes another blunder and calls herself his friend. Major mistake. But then she knows how to pacify him as well. She won't hug Rishab ever again.

I liked their dialog after that. Arnav has started voicing his insecurities. He asked her if she loved Rishab. And Khushi's declarations were awesome too. And ofcourse Arnav didn't believe her. How can he believe that she can be so devoted to him when they were never close, emotionally or physically. When she married him just because of his father and his own manipulation. even being his wife doesn't prove anything because married poeple can cheat too.

Arnav isn't thinking straight in his anger, and the proof he asks doesn't actually prove anything. He might just go ahead and think that she faked it too. He needs a real big hard hit on his head to see sense. And now I am beginning to understand what you meant when you said Khushi will have to give her all to make him hers.

At this point I don't know which update I'm awaiting more... MKM or CLG...

About the update...

Okay so Arnav is ready to take the next step... And then come up his insecurities... Why oh why had he to be so damaged... It's sad...

Rishabh makes a re-entry? Oh I'm not happy...
And he's still calling her "his Khush"!!!
That's irked me as much as it would Arnav...
That hug though friendly made me nervous... Cause I knew Arnav would be watching...

And his reaction though expected was hurtful too... How blunt and sarcastic can he be... It's like his brand in itself... I really felt bad that he used the word "lover"... God help him... More so Khushi help him... He really has to overcome his insecurities and trust issues for both their sakes...

Poor Khushi...

I loved how she handled him... Knowing that it is after all very difficult... And she must be very hurt too...

And then that question "do you still love him?"... Poor Arnav... How unsure is he in life?!

Proud of Khushi that she handled it soo well...
Best dialogue... "My mind body soul everything belongs to you." That must not really have been a easy declaration to make...
And to have it been doubted... That's sad yaar...

I'm not sure whether I liked the challenge at the end...
The whole next phase could've taken a natural course... Alas...

I don't know how Khushi would take it... I think she just mind... Hesitantly... Though it would be sad to be put in the position...

At this point I don't think she'll take a stand and not do it... A) because he loves Arnav anyway
B) she needs him to trust her
C) she ultimately knows he's emotionally damaged...

All in all it was as always a nice update...

And I really hope you update soon...

It will be almost cruel if keep us waiting after that cliffhanger...

no, i am not going to start with the last part of update.
first thing first.
His excited returning to Delhi and craving to see his WIFE first had me into thinking, pakka Arnav aur Khushi k beech jhagra hoga. but aisa, nahi soch tha. well, i should have thought, what should we expect from an Active volcano who is dormant for a while which is nothing unusual. hai na.

Again, now seriously from beginning.
I loved this eager to meet his wife Arnav with tenderness and kindling love (that he is so unaware), a lot of insecurities, possessiveness and warmth from his wife's care that he is reciprocating.then he is MISSING his wife, the feeling which he last remembered was when he went to live in a boarding school. He is just a love and affection deprived person who is dire need to be showed that he is not always played with and he is indeed loveable.And thus here comes Khushi. I loved Khushi's effort which she is genuinely making to make her husband realize that she is indeed his wife "from head to toe"... and as she rightly said in the very end- mind, body & soul.

Arnav's delima whether to listen his heart which has started beating after the entry of SUNSHINE in his dark life or his ever active and in guard brain which has prevented him from the cruel world out there since when, he doesn't know.
then there is that DEAL issue in which he wants to have the whole package and not just some drunken stolen moments but a willing participant in the DEAL to get the whole thing work. HE WANTS MORE FROM KHUSHI...

i am "wari jawan" for the musing of Arnavji...!!! GOD! If now Khushi becomes privy to Arnav's thoughts she will be pakka doing some bhangra steps or will be dancing on the roof ops and shouting at the top of her voice in glee!!! 😛

The Business Tycoon is all set to make his project for lifetime--- his marriage with Khushi work properly. he is expecting her into it along with the Emotional investment, happiness and faithfulness included. But what about his? i know he is happy with Khushi, and faithfulness is not a question at all. but he had been an emotionally withdrawn person who for a very long time has lost the art to express his feelings. He tries through his actions to tell Khushi and she is mostly successful in getting him but is that enough? doesn't he require to open up to her and let her in. there is a long way to go for him in this marriage but yes, i guess he will take that step only when he is hundred percent sure of Khushi's feelings towards him. After all his case is similar to that of proverb stating "once bitten, twice shy."

then Khushi and her radiating happiness which is palpable with the news of her husband returning. i love the compassionate and loving person that she is. she is too cute and mature in her thinking and handling situations for her age. her making genuine effort at getting her friendship back on track with Rishabh was appreciable. Also not making herself seem desperate for his friendship and giving time to Rishabh and understanding his predicament was a good move on her part. loved it.

Then Rishabh... i can't say i pity him because i don't as it will be an insult to his character. i love his character. he loved a genuine person like Khushi and realized it quite late when he was on the brink of losing her. Also loving a person is not a crime. He is already dealing with a heart break and he can do with a little understanding from Khushi ,which she is giving, by not imposing herself to him or nagging him. Feeling of Rejection is already so bad whether you love a person or not but here he genuinely loved Khushi and so the rejection is coupled with pain of heartbreak too.
can he get some respite from this pain anytime soon? plz, can we have someone in his life too who would just love him as he deserves? i know this is Arshi story but including another wont hurt anyone, would it? But as its yours story to tell, so final call will be yours.

So Rishabh is finally coming around and has decided to breech his maun vrat. well, as he rightly mused, "He needs to stay in Khush's life. For the sake of her safety and more importantly for the sake of his sanity. He can always love her from afar. And that, will have to do."

Arnav--- his reaction!!! Mashah-allah!!! Regret... of course! a wise man like him who is a kid in emotional department would of course feel that--- regret. firing guns already, are we? Arnav love him in spite of his rudeness and callousness in judging Khushi's Character. i tell you why? because Arnav Singh Raizada doesn't do emotional stuffs. he speaks when it is necessary or when he is angry. And when he speaks, he speaks in jealousy and his mind of what he thinks without beating around the bush. So here we get to face a very angry Arnav who is shooting daggers at khushi while already judging her and then getting more infuriated with her appearance as to Why is she not looking like the MARRIED woman that she is? WHY?

got he made me smile with his possessiveness. No doubt Khushi is trying to diffuse the situation with her being a amiable one and having deduced the right cause for Arnav's anger. oh i love Khushi's character.

the convo between Arshi --- Khushi's questioning Arnav and Arnav sarcastic replies albeit in his mind was 👏 then this also---

Whoever said communication is essential in a marriage, wasn't talking about her marriage for sure, Khushi sighed. Or maybe her husband never heard that saying. Because he snaps off that thread first and foremost. Now what has she done to deserve this silent treatment? Almost along with that thought, it struck her that in her euphoria that Arnavji has come to pick her up, she did not realize that he might have seen her hugging Rishabh. SHIT.

'I am so happy you are back. You know Rishabh is not talking to me since I've joined back' she tread carefully after a moment or two.

'Oh! No time for talking? Hugging kissing is all what you guys do, is it? ' came the scathing reply.

'ARNAVJI' her eyes widened at his bluntness.

'WHAT? Do you think I am blind?'. Or a fool.

and then came the confrontation part. the situation oscillated from tensed to frozen...! Arnav boiling with insecurities did what he does the best. And Khushi too was insecure for she hesitated using the Wife's leverage of demanding an chance to explain herself. but eventually, Arnav again cleared that. thank got he gets angry, at least he speaks of his mind.

but poor Khushi!!! she is getting all his burnt of Anger. and what more, in spite of being innocent, she is trying to prove her innocence to the man she is in love. if only Arnav was not so emotionally injured. but above all that, she understands him much more than he does. and thanks to Sumer and her keen observation of him, she has know him better.

so what's next? will Khushi really kiss him? i personally feel no, she should not because she is not the one at fault its Arnav's past experience here speaking. but i want her to kiss him too!! as i too have been waiting for their first conscious Kiss with Khushi being the willing participant. but at the same time, its unfair for her too.

So, i will just wait for the next update to know the fate of Arnav's demanded KISS.

Oh My God...i am stuck...need to retrieve myself up...fab update as ever,...waiting for Arnav's redemption...
