Part 37:

"Ugghh, how do I cover this up?" Kriya muttered to herself standing in front of the mirror staring at the hickey which didn't even reduce half an inch over night. Rey who was sitting on the bed chuckled at her futile attempts.

"Stop laughing at me." She threw a hair brush towards him which he dodged carefully. Then came a bottle of cream flying towards him which hit him straight in his stomach.

"Ouch.."

"This is what you get for giving me such a huge hickey." She glared at him.

"You are behaving as if you didn't like it."

"I didn't."

"Now do I really need to prove this to you?" He questioned raising his brow pointing at the other shoulder.

"Okay fine I admit I liked it. But how do I cover it up?" She pouted. He approached her and stared at the hickey thinking something. He moved her hair to the side where the hickey was and pinned her hairs using a clip. It actually looked nice. In this way her hair will stay still as well as the hickey will also be hidden.

"How's it madame?"

"It's fine, not bad."

"It is not just fine. It is amazing."

"Oh please anyone can do it."

"But you didn't."

"I was about to do it but you distracted me." He was about reply back but something crossed in his mind causing him to smirk at her.

"So, you mean I distract you?" He said in a husky voice. It was more of a statement than a question.

"Uh...I didn't...mean that." She stuttered.

"Then what did you mean?" He asked cornering her.

"Umm, I need to go. Kaira is calling me."

"I can't hear Kaira calling you. But if you say so then go." Saying this he stepped aside and she rushed away from there breathing heavily. He chuckled at her actions.

"Mommy you look different today. Nice hairstyle."

"Uh thanks sweety."

"Ahem! Someone's looking different. Kya baat hai di, new hairstyle." Sharon teased her. On Kaira's request Sharon agreed to stay till Saturday.

"Uh yeah. I was just experimenting."

"But you don't like to put your hairs at one side. Baat kya hai di?" Just then Rey entered. He was trying to suppress his giggle.

"Even I want to know the reason behind the change of hairstyle." Rey said innocently making Kriya glare at him.

"Why are you guys making it an issue? Is there any problem with my new hairstyle?" Kriya asked in a frustrated tone. This shut both of them. Soon everyone arrived at the breakfast table. Kriya sat opposite to Rey. As everyone started eating Kriya kicked Rey's leg with hers under the table.

"Ouchh.." Rey winced.

"What happened Rey?" Preeti asked. Kriya made an innocent face in front of everyone but when no one was seeing she smirked at Rey.

"No...Nothing mom."

"This is what you get for trying to embarrass me." She smirked at him conveying through her eyes. He just narrowed his eyes at her as she stuck her tongue at him.

"Di/Mommy hurry up." Sharon and Kaira yelled in unison.

"Yeah coming."

"Mommy you are late."

"Sorry baby. Common now let's go."

Two hours passed by and still they weren't tired of shopping. Kriya excused herself as she got a call from office whilst Sharon and Kaira proceeded further. After attending the call Kriya was searching for Sharon and Kaira. Suddenly she bumped into a lady.

"I'm sorry." Both of them said together. The other lady picked her bags and left leaving Kriya stunned. Kriya couldn't believe her eyes. She stood there dazed for a while.

"Di are you fine?" Sharon tapped her shoulder.

"Huh...yeah."

"What are you doing here then?"

"Uh nothing. Let's go." She turned around one last time before proceeding forward.
