^That seems like a close call.. If you know the author, credit them in the beginning just to be safe even if it'll be different..

I think you needed to be more precise about what you wanted to be deleted, since the thread was yours and you said delete my post, i think they got it like delete the thread, i too interprated it like that way.

Maybe there is a restore botton.
