Chapter 41

Arnav asked Poorav and Poorvi to follow him to the study quiety whereas Khushi was engaged by Anjali di and NK. Arnav closed the door to the study and asked both of them to sit down. Tightening his knucles he gained strength.

Arnav: I know what I am going to tell you is going to disturb you, weaken you and even distraught you, but you both need to calm down and listen to me very patiently please.

Poorav and Poorvi sensed something was serious. Both of them looked at eachother and then looked expectedly at Arnav to continue.

Arnav knew it will be very difficult for both of them to hold themselves together. But he knew they deserved to know everything.

With great difficulty he told them everything about Khushi's illness and the course of treatment too. At the end of them Poorvi was all in tears and Poorav was looking like a lost puppy, his eyes too were misty. Arnav could see them breaking down. He immediately did what he di always did. He bent down and hugged both of them together. He pulled them closer. Poorvi hugged him tighter and sobbed on his chest. After a while Poorav pulled out, controlling himself while Poorvi still clung to him.

Poorvi after a while composed herself and wiped her tears.

Poorvi: Jijaji, jiji ko theek kardo please. Unhe baccha lo please. Unhe nahi kho sakte hain hum. She is the only one we have. She is the only family. Please Please, I beg you...

She fell back sobbing into his chest. Arnav pulled her closer and kept his hand on her head stroking her like a daughter. He after a while pulled her apart, cupping her face in his hands.

Arnav: Look at me. Listen to me carefully. I will not let anything happen to her. (He pulled her hand and kept her hand on his heart.) Do you feel my heartbeats? They beat only when khushi is with me. She is my heart. It is not possible for me to live even a second without her. I will not let anything happen to her. Anything that tries to touch her must pass through me to reach her. So don't worry she will get well soon.

Poorvi was still sobbing and Arnav held her and kept stroking her hair like a small child. After a while Arnav spoke "I know it is very difficult for all of us. But we need to stay strong for her. She is already very vunerable and we will not be able to bear any of us breaking down. She will draw her strength from us. We need to create positivity all around her. And trust me I will not let anything happen to her. I will be taking her to hospital today. Everything will be finalised today. We are already in talks with them. Almost everything has been finalised. They have seen her reports and are very positive as her cancer is at very early phase. Nothing to worry"

Poorav: Jijaji I guess you take her alone. Poorvi is still so vunerable and I guess

Poorvi and I shall need some time to compose ourselves. I have full faith that Devi maiya will not let anything to happen to our mother and crusader.

With a full bang opened the door to the study and Khushi burst in saying "Arnavji..." (But seeing the all three there is stopped midway.)

The expression on the three faces of her beloveds told her what Arnav might have told them and next moment told her exactly that when Poorvi came flying to her and pulled her in a tight hug.

Poorvi: Jiji you have to get well soon for us and for jijaji. We all need you. Our

Lives without you will not be worth living. So don't you dare leave us.

Samghi aap(understand that well). You have to get well.

Poorav: She is right jiji. We have for past 15 years counted each day just to

get to you one day and live under your shadow, incessant love and

care and scolding too. So please don't you even think of anything

else.

Khushi left a chuckle and then smiled on looking for a moment to Arnav and then pulled both of them closer, holding hands said

Khushi: You both have started to behave like Arnavji. All those don't you dare! Ek hi raat main, inhone tum dono ko bi laadgoverner bana diya

(in a single night he has made you both laadgoverner).

It was awesome update

Awesome part the both can't lose their mother. People always say after mother died. Only old sister can give to kids mother love.
