Chapter 40

Khushi: Have the two of them come?

Arnav: yes, right on time.I had sent the car.

Khushi: why did not you wake me up?

Where are they?

Why did not they come to see me? Ask for me? Meet me?

Why are you not answering me...what happened?

Arnav: I will speak only when you allow me too.

Khushi just pouted.

Arnav: I came here to wake you up. Yes they came back a while. I told them

that you were sleeping. And sleep is very essential for you. And...

Khushi: and...

Arnav:and I purposely did not call them here to wake you up with a surprise

because,I did not want them to witness the trails of my personnel life

and see my wife in this attire. Only I see you with or without bedsheet

and they do not need to know our bedroom secrets. Now get ready fast

you shall meet them at the breakfast and from now on everyday you will

have them with you, near you. If you want I can help you with getting

ready...you know I would love to...

Khushi: pagal hog aye hain aap Arnavji !

Khushi pushed him out.While his teasing had silenced khushi.And Arnav left her to get ready.

Khushi got ready and was headed downstairs. The scene downstairs overwhelmed her heart. All were sitting on the sofa and poorvi was saying some thing and everyone was listening to her with rapt attention. And the expression on Poorav's and Arnav's face after a few seconds told her that she was talking of something nonsence. But Nanheji seemed all engrossed while Anjali di was too laughing.

Arnav felt she was there and the moment he turned around, and all heads turned and another kind of warmth filled all five pair of eyes. In next second Poorvi had jumped over Poorav too grasp Khushi in her embrace. Poorav followed her. The two sisters were all emotional and tears were flooding their eyes. As they parted to wipe each others tears, Poorav embraced the two of them in confines of his arms, one in each arm and pulled them closer. They remained like that, Poorav equally dividing his attention between his two sisters.

The moment broke when his eyes caught eyes with Arnav's. Arnav too held his di closer to him. Anjali too clung to him, both brother and sister understanding the moment. Their trance was broken by a grumbling NK who like a child complained "Anjali di this is not fair you always hug nanav and akash and leave me alone. Or yeh aapka papad ka tukda takes away all your time, care and attention. "Anjali opened her mouth like a gold fish in astonishment at his complaint. " Arnav was quick to fire back and said "dekha di. He has always been jealous of me and it has never been the other way. Anyways let us go for breakfast before he eats our ears with his hindi and khushi and poorvi drown this house in tears." All chukled and Anjali glared at him.

Poorav parted from Khushi and Poorav and said "you two please stop crying. Good times are back. We are together and shall always be."

With that they all headed to the breakfast and the breakfast was filled with Khushi fussing over Poorav and Poorvi while Anjali fussed over Arnav and NK again complaint about being ignored and hence ended up being spoonfed the cornflakes by Anjali.

After ending their lovely breakfast.
