Chapter 20

Arnav got a bit late and missed the evening tea session. When he returned, he told everyone " we will be leaving for London after 3 days, I have arranged a private flight and there will be a doctor on board. Akash will be handling here while I shall work from there itself. Mamaji I want you to follow up shyam's case with my legal team."

Then he looked at NK and asked "I hope you would not mind coming with us to London. It will be easier for me to ..." he could not complete but NK said "off course Nanav mere bhai. I cannot leave di and khushi ji in your boring company."

All laughed, at then left. The dinner was a happy affair and everyone made sure to keep all the topics far away from khushi's illness. And the best one was how shy will be akash and payal's kid raised by mamiji and everyone had a good time at there expense even Arnav teased Akash and said "Jaisa bhi ho , at time of pregnancy payal ko khushi se door rakhna warna di, khushi, NK or coming baby ke mad gang me ek our member add ho jayega or main or tum pagal ho jayenge." On this khushi hit him with her elbow and di pulled his ears and did not leave them till he said "I love your and khushi's madness too much and can't even imagine a single day without this madness. So please leave my ear I was just kidding and see the little one would not like its mama earless."

Just that moment di left his ear and pulled his palm to her belly and he felt it, the baby kicked. He brought khushi's palm below his and then the baby kicked several time and Anjali gasped and said "easy little one. I think the baby is too happy to see his mama and mami together." Khushi and arnav both stole an eye lock and what followed was a round of everyone feeling baby kicks. The limit was when at last NK went to feel it , the baby stopped and all could not help but laugh. Akash was so amused that rolled on to floor laughing and said "bhai, we are not the only one's troubled by NK bahi" and Akash and Arnav hi fived. When all the laughter subsided di said "by the way chote , you said the I should keep away from khushi so that the baby is not a chatterbox, but now I think I should stay away from you." Arnav was confused and said "what the..." to which Anjali laughed and said "the baby has started to develop interest in football like you and he had started the practice in my stomach itself." And she Pulled his cheeks he glared and said "you are crazy di and no one can beat you at pulling my leg. Good atleast we have one thing in common that we like" when di corrected him "three things in common i.e. football, you both love and respond to khushi and third (while eying NK), you both fear NK bhai."

All agreed and NK said "Its not fair" and good nights were exchanged. Arnav had decided to let khushi rest tonight and not get intimate. Though all he wanted to do was love her. But what you plan, does not always happen.

Another night of passion and love waited for them.

Awesome update...it is small but cute...the family is having a lighter moments when there is a storm brewing up...they all are together in this and a strong support to each other...liked Anjali-Arnav convo...how they teased each other...thanks for the PM
