Swayam entered his house. A little voice also echoed in this house. Life in a big city is dream of many but it come with loneliness. A pain of separation with his family. Sometimes he thought to leave this city n go back to his family but alas he is adapted to this loneliness.Swayam Shekhawat once a talkative but now an introvert who just not show his hidden emotions easily. Being in a marketing job he usually meet new people n make friends. In reality those friends are just friends for name sake.
He cooked the food n ate. Tiring he went to sleep. Such a boring life with no wonders n people say life is too fast here.
Sun peeped through curtains. A new morning with same routine.
Beep Beep
West gate mall, 10 am
He sighed n got ready. Initially when he started this job he worked with energy n excitement but after giving 1 year into it there seems no energy left in him.
He entered the mall. The meeting gone well. The client was very much impressed n decided to give them the order.
Feeling hunger Swayam ordered burger in a restaurant. The sales person asked him to wait. He turned with his eyes fixed in phone n bumped.
"Hey watch out dude" A voice came, without even looking up he mumbled a sorry.
Finally taking the burger he looked for the seat. Unusually restaurant was fulled but he could locate a vacant chair. Two girls in early twenties were sitting there.
"Can I sit here?" He asked.
"Sure no problem." One of them replied n other twisted her face as if disagreeing with her friend's statement but didn't said anything.
The two were very talkative n Swayam tried to concentrate on his work which he will not get time to complete while travelling.
He was getting irritated with their talks but couldn't oppose it as he was the one who chose to sit there. Adding to his bad luck a rally started right outside the restaurant, the loudspeaker echoed in the surrounding.
Swayam mumbled some curses inaudibly but were loud enough for the girls.
"Is there any problem?" One said seeing his tensed face.
"Naah just these loudspeaker are so much irritating"
"Election time, u know everyday there is a rally." The other one jumped into the convo.
Soon Swayam was chatting with them as if long lost friends. The two, Sharon n Natasha were in the final year of their college.
Surprised to his own behavior, Swayam found the same preferences with them. He never told his hobbies to anyone but here he wanted to share about his likes n dislikes. They were very social. Especially Sharon who belong to a joint family n grew up in this city.
Swayam felt a little jealous hearing about their families but he can surely say their upbringing was very good. Somewhere he felt that Sharon is very similar to his nature but she was very opened up n he has closed all his emotions.
No wonder he was not willing to end this conversation. He felt good after so much days as if someone has broke his shell n the old Swayam was out again.
He was speaking something when Sharon stopped him. There was a show of guitarists shown on TV. He looked back to them to find them lost in the music with their eyes closed n their lips curved into smile.
The music helped to rewind his memory n he remembered himself playing guitar. How much he loved to.
"I wish I can learn guitar" Sharon spoke after the end still in the trance of music.Their faces showed the level of interest in music. They were surely music lovers.
"Its not an easy task" Swayam replied
"As if u know how to play guitar" She mocked him
"Well u can say that n if u want I can teach u also"
"Stop lying"
"I can prove it to u."
"Okay guys stop arguing" Natasha intervened. "Swayam if u wanna prove it then there is a music competition in one week in our college, outsiders can also take part. Win it"
"Then I'll surely learn guitar from you" Sharon continued. "But it is not so easy"
"Difficult games are more fun to play. Watch it I'll win it" Swayam replied proudly.
