Chapter 17:
It's wrong of Arnav to treat Khushi as just one of his employees - he's basically only talking to her for work related issues and doesn't even realize that he has responsibilities as a husband. Sure they are not the conventional married couple, but he still owes it to her to respect their relationship. In spite of all her personal drama, Khushi is still able to prevail and make an impact within the NGO; shows what a fighting spirit she has.
Chapter 18:
Jealousy is an interesting emotion and you portrayed it so well. NK is harmless to Khushi, but he's working wonders in terms of making Arnav realize that he actually has a wife that he should treasure. I'm glad Khushi spoke up about not being treated as a wife, but Arnav's response was a little bittersweet for me. I'm glad to know there is this intense passion between them, but I feel bad for Khushi that she was robbed of a beautiful first kiss (I'm assuming it's her first kiss) - yes the kiss was passionate, but it was as a way to prove a point/show Khushi her place. And obviously, Khushi realized it too as she admitted to feeling like a wh*re, which was so sad.
Chapter 19:
I'm glad that this arrogant Arnav realized that he made a huge mistake with his wife - the tulips were a great first step to getting his apology going, but he needs to do more; he's a politician (and should be a lawyer according to Khushi) so he should have lyrical process and should be able to at least talk this over with Khushi (unless he's that affected by Khushi that he's not able to convey his thoughts to her).
Arnav's mother and brother prove that having money doesn't buy one class - those two are disgusting and a disgrace honestly. Can't imagine how Khushi is living with her. Arnav is there to listen to these taunts occasionally but he won't always be there to stop his family from speaking like this towards his wife - he needs to realize that he shouldn't let Khushi deal with this and should move out with her at the earliest.
Shyam is a creeper - gave me the chills just reading about him. I am so scared that he's going to do something really bad, I just have a bad feeling about him and his intentions. The unfortunate thing is that he's not scared of anyone and that makes it easy for him to carry out his evil plans😡
I felt so bad for Khushi during her conversation with Shirin, or rather Khushi having to listen to Shirin's blabber. I know this Lavanya affair is going to come bite Arnav in the ass in the future, both with his politics and with his relationship with Khushi, but I'm really dreading that. Luckily, I know that Khushi is not going to take it quietly - she has showed it countless times that she's not intimidated by Arnav and definitely isn't afraid to speak her mind to him.
Thanks for the super quick updates; I'm really enjoying the pace and style of this story!!
