The last two updates are awesome.
Khushi does not want their relationship to be a routine or a habit for her and most importantly for Arnav. Her Bade Papa's words actually helped to make her think of him beyond a friend, beyond what he shows to people. She know's very well how to handle some situations be it by her stubborness or tenderness and sweetness. She is a nice person with a big heart.
Arnav tries his best to deal with khushi as someone whi is just 'nice' and nothing more preventing his desires to surface fearing that they would affect his beliefs and the walls her has built around his heart not allowing anyone to come close, not his Dad and not she even.
Khushi for the first time, realized that his touch and warmth are familiar, yet it was also the first time she experience all of this when she is awake. His touch is making her thinking of him in another way convincing herself that he is her husband, a husband who can come this close, and might come closer in the future, she will realize. She is really naive though.
'When I flap my whole body like a fish out of water and sweat like a pig in the middle of the night without any apparent reason' This is so hilarious!! She was frustrated with his denial yet she did not want to upset him, and he actually supressed a grin at hearing this!
I'm happy with the pace you're taking for the story. It's wonderful as you want to put a light on everything.
