finally i find time to make a post here...another wonderful chapter. this is the third time im reading this ...the first time i read it i was so sleepy...but i still could not let myself sleep without finishing the chapter.😆 but the more you read ..the more you analyse things better.
in my last post...or the one before that...i dont remember exactly...i had said that its difficult to fall in love with arnav and when and where it would happen to her is what we dont know. but i had forgotten the fact that this is actually khushi whom we are talking about...a person who takes a conscious effort to make things better...a person who finds the best in every relationship and with her "never give up" attitude...im sure she will make way to his heart.
i like that khushi is making an efffort...we really cant expect that from weird mr. arnav raizada. talking to him, holding his hands to let him know that she is beside him always...taking care of little things about him...she really is making an effort. what a transition from finding it absurd to wake up at 4.30 before he wakes up...in the middle of the night...to staying awake till late night to assure her husband is fine.
she has been noticing many things that she hadnt noticed before like his smiles doesnt reach his eyes, or never seen him laugh out loud. khushi is now aware of his nightmares. a person like her can share things with people ...and open up easily. so for her ...she finds it surprising that arnav cant or rather doesnt need anyone other than himself. she is trying with all her heart...but doesnt get to catch hold of his mind.
as for arnav...its the other way round...he has always been to himself right from childhood that he really doesnt need anybody around him...he can manage it himself. also it is difficult for him to trust and open up to people.
as my POV i would say arnav is forgetting that she is his wife...and marriage is about just being with your partner in every way. i think arnav needs time and space. this is where i feel he would fall. i hope khushi plays this well...because this guy is a tough nut to crack and the more annoying you get...the more he would run away.
about the scene where she puts him to sleep...sweet...im 100% sure that most guys like their spouses/ girlfriend doing it to them. and he drifted off to sleep. and this little boy here...its the first time for him...he must have felt so happy.
his secret is out...khushi knows it now. but the question is does arnav know that khusi is aware of his little secret??? nope...and i dont think khushi will let it out either. and maybe she thinks that arnav is not aware of it...its just that he is doing it in his sleep. my god!!!
there is a part where you mentioned that there is something about him that makes her protective about him. unaware of this...but khushi does really protect him. she may become a habit to him ..but not a companion. it takes time khushi...that too with a person like arnav.
all i can tell her is ...lage raho...with all the efforts...and make wise ones...as we have mr. whirlpool on the other side. as for arnav...the poor girl is making efforts...a little effort from his side would do no harm.
i have seen many comments bout this one dialogue...i like it too.
'When I' she looked at him sharply 'flap my whole body like a fish out of water and sweat like a pig in the middle of the night without any apparent reason' she paused and looked at Arnav, who swallowed a grin that was threatening to bubble out 😆
i like it a lot because it made him smile...atleast swallowed his grin.
