Downcast eyes lifted fleetingly to meet his, before she lowered her lashes again, a beautiful pink staining her cheeks and the tip of her nose... for a minute there, thought it was a description of Arnav and Khushi, but then remembered you don't make things that easy. Aman's reaction to Payal's presence reminds one so much of Arnav's to Khushi's! Lovely to note that the wit and banter is still present in the Arnav-Khushi relationship: "You're such a beam of sunshine to have around, Raizada." "You're one to talk. Your saree makes you look like you want to camouflage yourself in a field of mustard flowers." Hilarious! "You...you...never mind. I'm not going to bother arguing. You know nothing about fashion." Isn't he involved with a fashion house, Khushi? Sakshi lovingly admonishing the quarrelling duo is endearing... the love and humor permeating the atmosphere is clearly seen. Arnav and Khushi addressing each other by their surnames is a habit that has transformed into an endearment, it seems. Not for the first time, Garima's eyes wandered over Sakshi's taller, slimmer form with an emotion that was too gentle for envy... beautifully put! Garima yearning for the kind of connection Sakshi has with Khushi is a bittersweet moment... loved the insight into the Garima-Khushi relationship... hitherto I believed that it was a very close one but only now do I realise that, in some ways, it was as difficult as the one she used to have with her dad... thank god that the father-daughter relationship has been mended. Thank God Garima and Shashi had the sense to value the Raizadas for the kind of people they are, rather than to focus on their caste or creed. Shashi Gupta had asked Khushi for her opinion, and then agreed to the match... pleased to see that he took Khushi's feelings into consideration... so many parents forget to do that. Lovely to see Payal grew a spine and that Khushi dealt with the whole matter in a mature manner, seeing to it that there's no estrangement between Payal and their dad. Am of the firm belief that the extended family has no business interfering in Payal's personal life! Wonder what Aman's parents had to say when he informed them about Payal. The growing friendship between Sakshi and Garima is touching. Sadly, not all relationships work out and the NK-Lavanya one seems to have bitten the dust! What is more painful is that it affected the Khushi-NK relationship, too. It must have hurt him badly to see Lavanya at the engagement but also to come to the conclusion that their relationship has no future. Their relationship seems quite volatile: being together and being apart both give pain! Heartbreaking to see the previously ever-smiling and happy-go-lucky NK so withdrawn, hopeless and serious, not even wanting to meet his other friends. ...she walked into a solid wall of muscle and her favourite cologne... loved the description and that moment when Arnav comforts her, first with his gentle teasing and then with his sensible words. Khushi carefully regarded the bit of bronze skin and dark hair visible through the open neck of his white button-down shirt and black blazer, refusing to meet his gaze... hot, I must say, but looks like she's avoiding his gaze so as not to break down owing to her overwhelming emotions and the solace of his support and understanding. The Garima-Preet relationship is also touching... wonder what Garima wants Preet to speak to Khushi about? The prospect of grandkids, maybe, especially as Preet seems to be looking forward to it? I base my suspicions on these lines: She had married the man her parents had chosen for her-- a highly successful neurosurgeon based in London, and was now five months along expecting their first baby. Garima sighed. Eagerly awaiting Part B for further revelations!
