Setting up my bff date..in library?!!!
She looked at the crowd. They were all cheering their name. Taani..Taani was all she could hear. She loved it. But she had something which she loved more. Her Music. Yes she owns it. Her beautiful voice. Her born talent which shows itself everyday once she stepped on the stage and take her guitar. That guitar seems more like a childhood friend who knows her more than she knew herself.
She looked at the crowd again. All the people were looking at her. Cheering her. And there she caught a pair of eyes that didn't seem to have any plan to blink or take rest. They were continously on her as if wants to know what's inside her. She looked at the person who owned them. A smile automatically crept on her face. SHE KNEW HIM. But before she could react her best friend Vicky came crushing her into a tight bff wala hug. She responded back with same intensity. But when she looked back, he was not there. HE WAS GONE.
----at canteen---
"Yaar that was awesome!!!" Simmi exclaimed.
"Ofcourse after all you were on keyboard" Neil never left a single opportunity to flirt with her one and only 'mushy bag' . Simmi blushed but soon came out of effect as our one and only sharon interrupted.
"Hello!! Dude we were also there. Zara nazare idhar bhi ghumao majnu ke nana"
"offcourse yaar! Vacations ke baad humne pehli baar college mein perform kiya. It was so special. I was missing all this so much" Vicky said with a smile.
"Oh!! You were missing performing. I thought you were missing your kagu more." taani said entering the scene with her diva attitude.
"Taani!!!" Vicky glared at her.
"No way!!!" Neil shouted on top of his voice. "Don't tell me! Hell two moths vacations and she is still on your mind. Dude! How can you even think about that double battery single power."
Vicky was about to shout on him but before he could give his sweet comments, he was again interrupted by taani.
"Seriously Nil!!! Where is your Mr. cool attitude. Holidays mein kisiko charity di thi kya. And don't you dare to give these saas bahu type expressions in front of me. You know how much I hate all these over the top melodramas. And life vicky ki hai. So decide bhi use hi karne dete hai. You have your own chick. So stay happy." Taani gave him a attitude look and he sat back.
"And you mr. lover boy. Vicky, don't you dare to go in that devdas mode. k?!! Make sure you tell her as early as possible. And obvio she'll say yes. After all it's the hottie in town Mr. Vicky proposing her." She said with a wink.
"But taani you know na vo to kabhi class aur library ke alava kahi nahi dikhti" Vicky said all tensed up.
"Phir to problem ho jaegi." Nil said in between. All looked at him with a questioning look.
"Are yaar socho inn dono ki dates hogi classes mein aur romance hoga library mein. Which means in dono ki love story to history mein likhi jayegi jise bhi baad mein yahi dono library mein bethke padenge."
Nil laughed on his so called joke but stopped in middle as he saw angry glares of everyone.
"Bad Joke Wrong time. I got it" He sealed his lips.
"Ok guys!! If we are done with all this bullshit, coming to the real topic, mein kya karoon." Vicky asked with a pleading look.
"I have a plan" Taani said with a grin.
"Wow!!ladki patao that too with taani shekhawat plan. No chance of failing."Sharon said all excited.
"Ofcourse babes after all its taani shekhawat. Now here you go. Listen..."
------outside library-----
"Taani are you sure?" Vicky said with not so sure look.
"You serious! You are asking me if I am sure about my plan. That's my plan. 100% success guaranteed! " Taani reassured him
"But its too hard to do this."
"You love her or not?"
"But.."
"Love her or not??"
"Yes" Vicky said finaaly giving up.
"So just do what I say." Taani caught his hand and entered into library. All eyes were on them. The hotest babe and hunkiest guy of the college jo kabhi bhool ke bhi library ka raasta nahi bhulte aaj library mein hain. It was the news to be worth put on the notice board. The librarian adjusted her specs to believe what she just saw.
"Hello!! Everyone. Aap sab yaha mujhe nahi un books ko dekhne aate hai. So better be concentrating on that." taani said with a glare. Everybody get back to their work. They instantle entered and started finding vicky's so called soulmate in this pool of books. Where else to look for if its neha. Yes the girl is neha. The top student of the college. And they found her reading a big fatty book all by herself .
"Great!! we found her. There's noone. Go and do what I told you."
"Mujhe bahot darr lag raha hai yaar"
"agar zyada darega to ram gopal verma ki movie mein bhej dungi. Stop irritating me and Go right now. Its an order."
He did what she said. Taani hid behind a shelf to see Viha.
"Umm... Hi neha." Vicky said trying to grab her attention. She peeped out of her book to find the one and only Vikramjeet standing in front of her. But unlike other girls she was quite uninfluenced by his looks. She just passed a smile and started reading again.
"Oh c'mon just say something."Taani said all frustated
"What are you reading?" Vicky tried starting a conversation.
"Its prof. robert mathew theories on atomic physics."
"Really?!!! Looks interesting." Vicky said making weird face towards the book.
"I can't believe this. He is talking about atomic physics on his first date. Ugh!!" taani was so hell irritated. She was about to leave but then she sensed something. A gaze. She knew it well. The same gaze she felt in the morning. She turned around hoping to find the same person and..
