Arnav and Khushi reached home after their becoming "Friends" and a joyful bike-journey.

"Come children, how was your day?" Ira said, smilingly.

"It started pathetically, auntie--" Khushi said, letting out a sigh.

"--But soon became beautiful.." Arnav completed her sentence, while glancing at her.

Shock would be an understatement for Ira. One day, these two fight like Tom & Jerry.. And the other day they are passing each other 'smiley' looks.

"Oh.. That's nice.. Became friends?" Ira asked.

"Yes auntie!" they both replied in unison.

"Very good! Chalo.. Go and freshen yourself.. I'll prepare something to eat." Ira said.

"Thank you auntie.." Khushi said while planting a quick kiss on Ira's cheek and climbing up the stairs, followed by Arnav.

"Its delicious auntie!" Khushi said, while biting the sandwich which was prepared by Ira.

"Oh. Thank you beta!" Ira said, overwhelmed.

"Arnav, why don't you praise anyone?" Khushi said, feeling odd at his introvert behaviour.

"Umm.. Yeah.. Its good auntie.." Arnav said, hesitatingly.

"Thank you beta!" Ira said, overwhelmed at the change in Arnav, the reason of which was Khushi.

"Arnav, I need to talk to you.." Khushi said seriously. She had totally forgotten about Payal and Arnav's friend.

"I'll come upstairs.." Arnav said. 'I'll also talk about Aakash' he thought.

"OK!" Khushi exclaimed, while climbing up the stairs.

"Khushi?" Arnav said, while entering Khushi's room, for the first time.

Her room was beautiful. Her clothes were nicely stacked in the wardrobe, unlike his. Her books were cleanly placed on the study table, unlike his. Her pink bed-spread was tucked in neatly, unlike his. All in all, her room was much neat and tidy, definitely better than his room.

"Arnav!" Khushi turned from the window and glanced at him.

"Your room is beautiful Khushi!" Arnav said, still looking at each corner of the room.

"Its beautiful na.. You should say this to maa.. She scolds me day and night because I do not put my things in place. She thinks my room to be a cloth-selling shop!" Khushi said, a cute smile spreading on her face, the scenes of her maa scolding her, playing in front of her eyes.

Arnav's face lost its colour at the mention of 'maa'. How he wishes that his mother would also scold him! How he wishes that his mother would also call his room a 'cloth-selling shop'! But she wasn't there! She lived in a far-away land. Very Very far away from him.. With God!

But he composed himself. His tears dried up in his eyes.

"Leave all that Khushi! Now tell me.. You wanted to talk to me?" Arnav said.

"Ya.. What is your friend's name?" Khushi asked, feeling awkward.

''What do you have to do with my friend?''

"Uh.. Nothing.. Actually.. My friend is in love with your friend.." Khushi said, feeling extremely awkward talking to him about this matter.

"What a co-incidence!" Arnav said, excitedly. Now he don't have to explain her the whole thing. She already has experienced the same!

"What?" Khushi said, a little confused.

"My friend too loves your friend! You know, when we were saying each other 'sorry'.. They both were staring each other admirably. And instantly--" Arnav said, biting his lip and raising his eyebrows.

"O.M.G! You know when Payal told me this, I was so shocked! It is indeed the best example of Love-at-first-sight." Khushi said, controlling her laughter.

"Seriously! Its seems to be so filmy!" Arnav said, letting out a chuckle.

"So.. if your friend has asked you to inquire about my friend. Then, her name is Payal. She is extremely talkative, shy, influential and naive." Khushi said, finding the inquiry work too boring.

"Oh.. About Aakash.. He is a complete jerk! Too flirty.. Too excited all the time.. He needs no introduction. His each and every quality is written on his face." Arnav said, feeling too silly.

"Really?" Khushi, said raising her eyebrows, "I think they both are exactly opposite!"

"Yeah right" Arnav said, realizing that Khushi was actually right, "But it doesn't matter me, I've done my work and now we'll make them meet. Moreover, I find all this really boring!"

"Yeah!" Khushi said, yawning. She wanted to sleep!

"Okay. I'm leaving. You sleep now!" Arnav said, turning towards the door, when a thought came into his mind and he turned back.

"Khushi, we are friends. Right?"

"Ya we are. But what made you ask this question?"

"No I think you'll fall in love with me soon." Arnav said, pursing his lips.

"What?!" Khushi replied, shockingly. A deep red colour rising to her cheeks."Me? And I'll fall for you? Are all other better guys dead?"

"No.. Actually I've read that girls fall in love with their best friends who are boys. You know.. Girls' mentality!"

"Haww.. This is not girls' mentality. But it is definitely of boys'.."

"Let's see"

"Arnav! Its not even 3 hours since we've become friends! And you are talking about falling in love!"

"Yeah.. After all, we are not Payal and Aakash"

And they both burst into laughter.

Arnav was watching a football match on T.V. when he got a call from Aakash.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Arnav? Did you ask Khushi?"

''Ya I did. You know her friend also loves you."

"Really? Oh my god!" Aakash said on phone. Arnav could very well judge his highly blushing face by his voice.

"By the way, her name is Payal. And she's totally opposite of what you are." Arnav said, teasingly.

"That's not a thing to take tension about. I'll soon make her like me!" Aakash said with utter confidence.

"Hold on dude! Make sure you don't change."

"No no.. Why would I change?"

"You know I read a fact, 'when you fall in love, you lose an average of 2 friends'.. So be careful." Arnav said, slyly.

"Oh come on Arnav! This is not gonna happen."

"Koi baat nhi.. We'll see.. Moreover I have Khushi with me now!"

"Khushi? With you?" Aakash said, not able to believe.

"Yeah.. We became friends!" Arnav said, smiling.

"Oh. That's nice. Today's breaking news, 'Tom and Jerry became friends! A huge round of applause'" Aakash said, giggling.

"Very funny!" Arnav said, making a face,"I'm cutting the call now, you are making me miss my football match."

"OK, my football freak!" Aakash said while cutting the call.

"Khushi? Are you serious? Really? He also loves me?" Payal said on the phone, when Khushi told her about Aakash.

"Of course yaar! He loves you." Khushi said, as sweetly as ever.

"That's so sweet of him yaar. I'm feeling so blessed right now." Payal said, blushing.

"Aww.. You'll meet him tomorrow?"

"I don't know.. How will I meet him? I would be as red as tomato!"

"Come on Payal! You can't be so shy!"

"Yeah." Payal said and continued,"Khushi? How did you come to know about this? Did Aakash himself say you this?"

"No Payal. Arnav told me all this.."

"Arnav? You asked HIM all this?"

"Ya I did. We are friends now!" Khushi said, excitedly.

"Oh. Somebody's ignoring me!" Payal said, teasingly.

"No yaar.. How can I ignore you? You are my Besht Flend!" Khushi said, in a child-like voice, saying 'best friend' as 'besht flend'.

"Aww.. You are also my Besht Flend!" Payal replied, in the same tone.

"And moreover, from tomorrow, you'll be busy with your 'Aakash', then where will I go?" Khushi said, teasing her.

"Haww.. You are such a tease Khushi.. From tomorrow onwards, I'll be with Aakash only.." Payal said, trying hard to control her blush.

"Ohhh.. Somebody is making plans to be with their crush!" Khushi said, teasing her.

"Stop it Khushi!" Payal said, while cutting the call, her face fully flushed with embarrassment.

.."There is no need to have a crush, when you don't have a best friend to discuss it with!"..

So this was the fourth chapter.

I know it had a lot of Payash in it. But just to make it clear, this is not a Payash story. It is definitely a Arshi story.. And Payal and Aakash are there only to add a real feel. How teens actually are! Love, friendship, teasing, blushing, caring, these are all teen spirited emotions. I promise, from next update, there will be more of Arshi. I know this chapter was really boring, but was needed.
