"Will you just shut up taani? I mean tum yeh sab baatein karte karte thak nahi jaati? Kitne baar bola ki hate such talks, tumne din bhar kya kiya kya karogi, kaha gayi etc I m least bothered! Main sirf tumhe mere mom ke wajah se jhel raha hu and you also know that very well! So stop being so aadarsh patni type, okay? That just irritates me to the core"

Saying so Rey left the bedroom slamming the door behind him. Taani felt bad, she knew that what importance she have in his life, yet she never gives up. And now many months of their wedding, she cannot take it anymore and then she decides to leave him for himself and not to interfere anymore in his life. She left the room and indulged herself in work.

"Taani beta, zara tum apni jiji sharon ke saath zara aaj sham ko mere kamre me aao, bohot zaroori baat karni hai!" said vaidehi singhania, rey's mother.

Yes guys, swaron are married couple and are blessed with a 5 yr old yash. Both taani and rey love yash so much. And swayam is elder brother of rey.

That evening in vaidehi's room,

Blue-taani, green-sharon, brown-vaidehi

"boliye maa, aapne humey bulaya"

"haa beta, wo diwali ke liye kuch hi din hi hai aur poore ghar ki saaf safayi, mithayiyaan, aur guests ke liye tofey and saare arrangements karne ke liye time bohot kam hai, swayam aur rey donon apne office me aaj kal bohot busy hai isiliye, I want you both to supervise all the arrangements of diwali. Yash bhi school chala jaata hai, toh aap donon ko koi disturbance nahi hoga"

"maa aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye, hum donon sab sambhaalengey"

"mujhe pata hai beta, aap dono hi kar saqte ho, toh aap donon poora kaam baant do as koi bhi kaam adhoora choot na jaaye"

"maa, don't worry, sab ho jaayega"

"mummaaa, mujhe bhook lag rahi hai" said a cute yash coming into the room with a small spider man in his hand.

"theek hai maa, saaf safayi kal subah se hi shuru karva dengey aur mithaiyon ka list aap humey de dijiye konse banaane hai"

"... aur tofey and lakshmi puja ke liye jo bhi samaagri chahiye aap please uska bhi list bana dijiyega, humey kal subah hi sab discuss karke kaam baatna hoga"

"acha theek hai, ab tum donon jaao"

Finally they left the room; Sharon and taani were preparing dinner and discussing things for diwali preparations.

And after the dinner, they went into their rooms to sleep. Taani saw that rey was fast asleep so as usual she slept on the sofa beside the bed without making any sound otherwise rey would yell at her.

Next morning

Rey woke up and found the room was silent and no one were there in the room, not even taani, generally she used to come to the room with a cup of coffee as soon as he wakes up, or else the sound of her bangles or her anklets would be audible, but the room was occupied with terrific silence which was broken by the knock on the door of the bedroom.

Rey saw the door and found that ganga(servant) was standing there with the tray of coffee. Ganga came into the room and put the tray on the table beside the bed and was about to leave when,

R: ganga!

G: ji saab!

R: taani kaha hai?

G: wo, chote mem saab aur bade mem saab diwali ke kaam se vyasth hai.

R: theek hai jaao!

Rey felt strange and went into the washroom with his towel. After his shower he saw that the bed was empty, generally taani used to keep his clothes ready along with tie, wallet, belt and handkerchief.

Rey had a tough time choosing all that as he lost the habit of doing all that himself and finally he was ready for office. He went to the breakfast table for his breakfast and he saw Swayam, Sharon, his father and mother along with his champ! (yash)

He sat on a chair and he was searching here and there, ganga and kaka were serving the breakfast.

V: Sharon beta, acche se naashta karo, warna tum donon (taani and Sharon) bilkul bhook bhi bhool jaatey ho agar kaam me lag jaogey toh!

As soon as the gents left, they started off their work with the servants. Vacuum cleaners pocha etc, and then they sat down making the list of guests and food items to be made.

Like this, rey never met taani, before he wakes up she used to wake up and sit in the kitchen busy in making something and after he reaches home, he used to get tired and sleep early, so after he slept, taani used to sleep. He dint even get a chance to see her.

On the third day, both reyam decided to give off for the office staff for that day, the day before diwali and diwali. They came from the office soon and they sat in their rooms. Rey was busy playing a game in his laptop and when he got bored, he placed the laptop aside and saw around him, first time he was getting a feeling that he was alone, he was getting such feeling from past 2 days but he brushed off, and he can't avoid it anymore now. It was seriously not looking like taani is busy in diwali preparations, but taani is avoiding talking to him. He is feeling as if he became an orphan. No one is bothered about him, no one is waking him from his sleep, no one is bothered to set up his wardrobe neatly, and no one is talking to him in that house. He was feeling so helpless, he came out from his room and he stared the house from the corridor above. Taani was busy in making laddoos with a serious face and Sharon was busy in decorating the hall. He keenly observed taani's face, it was full of tension and frustration that the work is not finishing on time but she never shows anger on anyone.

He went to the terrace and saw that Swayam was already there on the swing. Rey went and sat beside him. Swayam saw him and gave a fake smile.

R: kya hua?

S: kisi ne sahi kaha...

R: kyaa???

S: yahi ki jitna pyaar ladkiyan kar saqti hai, utna ladke nahi kar saqte.

R: bhabhi se jhagda hua?

S: rey, tumhaari bhabhi ko main hug bhi karke its more than 1 year yaar! Believe or not!

And who mujhe harr festival pe kuch na kuch surprise gift deti hai, like mere cupboard me rakhna or office me mere jaane se pehle mere table pe pohonchaana, I am feeling so guilty yaar, kya hamaare lives itne busy hai ki hum apnon ke liye bhi time nahi nikaal saqte, when they love us so much? Even if I get irritated and yell on her she never protests, sab khaamoshi se sun leti hai. Yaha tak ki yash bhi mere paas nahi aa raha aaj kal toh, waise bhi who chachi ka chamcha hai, zyaada taani ke saath rehta hai, but still, kya karun me?

Rey was dumb, when his brother is so guilty about his wife; in that case he has never loved his own wife. He felt a stabbing sensation in his heart and he can't even explain how painful it is.

S: idea! Main iss baar kuch aisa karoonga ki Sharon ko mujhse firr se pyaar ho jaaye! My life has become robotic without her.

Rey smiled at Swayam and Swayam left happily from there. Rey's eyes brimmed with tears and he was feeling so helpless.

That night rey was not able to sleep; he was trying to find answers for the questions in his mind. While the war is on between his heart and brain, there was sound at the door, it was taani, she was sure that rey would be fast asleep by this time. She took the pillow and blanket and comforted herself on sofa. Rey felt a pang in his heart. He then noticed that she had to adjust herself so much in that narrow as well as a short sofa for her personality. But she fell asleep soon; he was cursing himself that he could not even give her the right to sleep on his bed neither to touch him nor any right in his life. Like this, he was awake whole night staring at the ceiling tears rolling down from the corner of his eyes.

Soon the sun was showing his beautiful rays on his face and taani woke up as soon as the alarm rang, she was about to get up from the sofa and

"ahhh...!!!!" she let out a scream, rey woke up with a jerk. She tightly closed her eyes catching her back! (Now don't say ki taani buddhi nahi hai toh back pain q aaya)

Rey went near her and caught her in his arms, she tightly clutched his shoulders and

R: taani, kya hua?

Ganga came into the room and was shocked to see taani like that,

G: mem saab!!!

R: ganga, jaake mom ko bolo ki taani ko back pain ho raha hai, jaao!

Rey gently made her sleep on the bed, whereas taani was looking at him with teary eyes.

Rey was also looking at her with painful eyes. Meanwhile everyone comes to her room and the doctor also comes soon,

V: kya hua doctor?

D: aaj kal yeh back pain kaafi common hai, agar zyaada work stress ho ya, neendh me theek se so nahi paaye ya, aise hoga toh muscle atak jaata hai. 1 din me theek ho jaayega, bass theek position me sona hai aur back pe moov lagaake hot water pack lagaana padega 2 baar din me.

S: main kar deti hu, wo par kal diwali tak theek ho jayegi na?

D: bilkul, yeh toh bass choti se hai, bass aap ek cheez ki khayaal rakhiye ki kuch dinon tak zyaada kaam na karey. Bass she will be fine.

And the doctor left.

Everyone went outside and taani was helpless, she doesn't want to be there on his bed, but she had to be. Rey was looking at her with painful eyes. Taani slowly fell asleep and rey also slept beside her. As taani had to get a comfortable sleep and rey dint sleep the whole night.

After one hour, taani woke up and found rey's arm around her stomach. And his face was in near her neck. She was shocked to the core! She tried to take out his hand, but he woke up. Both were in an eye lock meanwhile Sharon comes.

Sh: taani, ab kaisi ho? Dard kam hua?

She stretched her back and felt a little pain,

T: thoda hai abhi bhi

sh: okay u take rest, main aati hu

t: Sharon! Mujhe nahaane jaana hai,

sh: main help karu?

T: no main kr lungi!

Sh: okay, but careful haa!!!

T: okay,

And she went into the washroom.

Later she came drying her hair. By the time she came out, she saw the sofa was not there in their room. She was looking all around but she did not find anywhere.

She went out and she saw rey giving it to ganga and ramu kaka to keep it in their room or home. She felt strange and like this the whole day went away. Rey came to his room in the night and he saw taani was standing near the window and many people started bursting 100 waala and 1000 waala's one day before the festival.

Rey went near her and whispered in her ear

R: dard kam hua?

Taani turned back and nodded her head in a yes

R: chalo, so jaao, its already late.

Taani went to the bed without uttering a word and rey was craving to hear her gup shup like she is used to everyday. Honestly he used to get irritated, but now he is restless without her voice and feeling as if he became deaf!

Rey also lay on his side of the bed but was unable to sleep. He opened his laptop and he was doing his office work. He logged in to his face book account and he found Vicky was online. He had a long chat with him very seriously (will reveal later). And then he went to sleep.

Next morning - diwali

Dhak dhak...dhak dhak...dhak dhak... there was a feeble sound of heart beat audible to her, she frowned in her sleep and wondered how come her heart is audible to herself, she slowly opened her eyes and found herself in the warm and cozy embrace of her hubby. Her head was near to his heart so she could hear the heartbeats and his cheek was resting over her head. His arms were circling her tender waist protectively and her hands were around his back. She loved to be there in his lovely embrace. Then the reality struck her...!!!

Her eyes widened, she couldn't believe that she was in his embrace. She slowly parted from his hug and got down the bed. She went to her cupboard and opened it, she pulled out a medium sized wooden box from the lowest rack and she opened it. She stroked all the things present in it with her fingers.

"kaash main aapko yeh sab de paati!" thought herself and tears were forming in her eyes.

Rey woke up and saw taani was sitting on the floor near her cupboard and she was busy lost in something,

R: taani!

Taani was startled! She quickly closed the box and pushed in the box into the rack and turned, rey felt weird as taani hid the box suddenly as soon as she heard his call.

Taani took her saree and went into the washroom; meanwhile rey got down his bed and opened her cupboard. He took out the box and he found a platinum watch, a deodorant and a sherwani broche. One was for New Year, one was for his birthday and the watch was for diwali, which is today. He found 2 small letters there in one it was

I want you to hug me when I get scared
I want you to kiss me when I act like a kid
I want you to care for me when I'm sick
I want you to listen to me when I wanna say something
I want you to understand my silence when I don't have words to express what I feel
I want you to be there when I need a friend
I want you to love me for what I'm
And above all I want you to complete me...

I wish these wishes are fulfilled as soon as possible. Happy New Year Reyaansh!!!

His heart was completely filled with love for her, how much she craved for his love, but he never ever even treat her as a friend. Tears now escaped from his eyes, with lot of difficulty he opened the second letter and it read

Happy birthday dear husband!!!

This was it, he couldn't take it anymore. He slowly put all the things inside and sat on his bed like a lifeless body. Now he wants to confess his love to her as soon as possible. He can't see her suffer anymore because of him.

She came out of the washroom drying her hair; she saw rey sitting on the bed with a very sad and lost face. She got worried but then she remembered that she won't bother him anymore. Rey looked at the angel in front of him. He wanted to hug her tight and get lost in the ocean of her love. Meanwhile Sharon knocks the door, taani opens the door.

Sh: taani ab dard kaisa hai?

T: me theek hu Sharon, lakshmi puja ka saare arrangements?

Sh: sab ho gaye meri maa! Ab chalo aap donon, rey! 15 minutes me neeche aana hai

R: ji bhabhi!

taani:

Shaani went downstairs and rey took out the phone and called Vicky

R: Vicky! Sab taiyar hai na? jaise maine kaha?

V: sab ready hai rey, bas tu bol kab aana hai?

R: aaj sham ko after 8

V: done!!!

Then lakshmi puja is done and lunch was also done by everyone, all the guests left the place and shaani were busy in making rangoli on the floor and decorating the house with lights and preparing diyas, making sweets etc.

Finally it was evening 7 o clock. Everyone were on the terrace of their house which was beautifully decorated by the bahu's of that house, at every step there was a beautiful diya along the corridor and the terrace was looking heavenly with diyas, and lights all over.

Every member of the house were happy except 2 people, taani and rey taani was wondering that after a long wait of patience also I couldn't win him. He was never my husband nor will be, I deserve this emptiness my lifelong. But one thing is true; I always loved him from the deepest core of my heart, and will love him forever. Kaash wo bhi mujhse pyaar karte! Soon they both were caught in an eye lock.

Both their eyes were speaking volumes! Rey had tears now and taani got more worried as rey was sad since morning. After 2 long hours of enjoying the colourful crackers in the sky, taani was tired. She searched for rey around but he was not there. She was feeling weak and low. Vaidehi saw this and

V: taani beta, Sharon ke kamre me ek light color ki saree hai, wo peheno aur jaake aaraam karo beta. Aap bohot thakey thakey lag rahe ho.

Sh: haan taani, jaakey change krlo aur kuch khayegi?

T: nahi jiji wo me dhoodh pee lungi, khaane ka mann nahi hai.

Sh: theek hai jaao.

Taani went to sharon's room and changed her saree, she was feeling much light and relieved in that light saree. She slowly opened the door of her room, as now she has to face him because he won't be asleep at 9 at night; she took a deep breath and entered the room.

taani:

She went into the room and closed the door behind her, and then she noticed there were candles in their room flickering in the corners and spreading a beautiful fragrance around the room. She was shocked beyond the zenith; she thought she did not decorate the room, and then who would do it?

She took a few steps forward and saw that there is a big heart with rose petals on the bed sheet. She checked around the room in confusion whether she came to her room or some other room. She turned back and found rey just inches away from her. She was never so close to rey, her heart beats raised and tears brimmed in her eyes. Rey wanted to hug her and feel her love for him. He wants to pour out all his frustration and love, he want to confess his love now. Both were looking into each other's eyes. Taani turned and was about to leave the room whereas rey held her wrist. Tears rolled down his cheeks, he felt his life is leaving from him; the thought itself was making him shudder with fear. He pulled her back and held her in his arms close to his body.

Taani was again shocked to see this phase of her husband; he hugged her tight digging his face in the crook of her neck and sobbing hard. Taani was now scared, she is out of her mind as in why rey is very sad from morning and now he is crying. She gently fondled his back trying to calm him down and he settled his face on her shoulder feeling peaceful and complete. Both of them were living that moment, after some time he broke the hug and placed his forehead on hers. Taani gently wiped of his tears on his cheeks with her soft fingers. He opened his eyes and the pain was clearly evident in them. And finally she spoke

T: rey, kya hua?

R: taani, will you ever be able to forgive me?

T: kya???

R: taani, main jaanta hu, I hurt you so much, I hurt you so much with my words, with my behavior and I hurt you so much with my taunts. I disbelieved you, I am really sorry taani!

Tum mere saath do din iss kamrey me nahi thi, and I felt as if I was abandoned or left alone in this world. I missed you like hell taani, main bata nahi saqta ki how painful it was, tumhaare ek jhalak dekhne ko taras gaya tha, tumhaari aawaaz sunne ke liye tadap raha tha, aur maine kabhi bhi tumhe apne life me koi right nahi diya tumhe, jabki you only deserve me. You loved me from the deepest core of your heart and tum mujhse darrke kabhi apna pyaar izhaar nahi kar saki. Jab se hamaari shaadi hui, tab se you were tolerating me. Tumne ek baar bhi mujhpe aawaaz nahi uthaayi and and

He again started sobbing hard clouting her more close towards him. She was also crying with him.

Parted from the hug and wiped his tears

Rey pulled her close and gave a soft kiss on her lips, taani was startled as it was a sudden one and they resumed it making it passionate kiss as they were craving for it so much. Chills ran down their spines, rey unpinned the pallu of her saree and it slid down. He gently laid her on their bed lying on her and he started to kiss her gently on her forehead, eyes, lips, cheeks and her slender neck. She clutched his back and he was deepening his kiss more. He descended to her cleavage and she arched backwards allowing him to claim her more. Within no time all their clothes were lingering on the floor and rey slowly made his way into her, it was hell painful but his love overpowered it. They were moving in delicious rhythm clutching each other tightly, they lived their beautiful moments as if there was no tomorrow. And after that he held her waist and hugged her tightly designing on her waist and his face was in her neck making her shiver in his embrace.

Later till some time they were breathing heavily and as the relaxed, rey took her small palm in his hand and

R: taani, pata hai aaj maa ne kya pucha mujhse puja me?

T: kya?

R: ki unhe agli diwali tak unki pothi unke paas khelna hai

T: toh aapne kya kaha?

R: maine kaha use pehle hi unhe mil jayegi!

Taani blushed and hugged him digging her face in his chest. Rey hugged her back and they dozed off in each other's embrace welcoming their new life clearing all the bad memories of their past and starting their life afresh.

Next morning

Rey groaned in his sleep and was searching for his beloved wife on his bed moving his hand, but he couldn't find her, her woke up nuzzling his eyes and sat on his bed. Meanwhile taani came in with an ear to ear smile along with his cup of coffee.

Rey looked at his angel; she sat next to him pouring the coffee from the kettle into the cup. Rey adored her lovingly and when she handed him the cup, he kept it in the tray and he slept on her lap, taani caressed his hair and

T: rey aapko office nahi jaana?

R: nahi

T: par jijaji toh chale gaye!

R: toh?

T: keh rahe they ki aap bhi jaldi pohonch jaaye kisi Mr. Gupta se meeting hai aaj.

R: oh! Freak!!! I am late taani (rushing into the washroom)

By the time he came out, he saw all his things on his bed and she was arranging his clothes in his wardrobe.

Rey caught her from behind and kissed her hair! Taani shivered

T: rey aapko late ho raha hai!!!

R: I love you!!!

Taani stood there silent staring at him.

R: kitna gadha hu na main, kal hi bolna chahta tha, aur ab dekho!!!

Taani hugged him and "I love you too"

R: ab chorr do mujhe, warna towel girr jayega!!!

Taani suddenly parted from the hug and

T: rey aap bohot besharam ho!!! Ap change kro and me jaa rhi hu!!!

R: besharmi ka mazaa hi alag hai jaanemann!!! (to himself)
