Coming to this snippet, the private cloister in which these two find themselves turns in on itself in about 0.35 seconds. A minor galactic event it was. I was recently reading about the Arrow paradox and somehow this one reminded me of it.
Also liked the humour in this one. That is a first.

After six parts of angst and drama I thought a little bit of lightness was necessary. Arrow paradox is probably more accurate description and best summary for this chapter.

Thanks.

From Wikipedia:

The Arrow Paradox:
In any one (durationless) instant of time, the arrow is neither moving to where it is, nor to where it is not.It cannot move to where it is not, because no time elapses for it to move there; it cannot move to where it is, because it is already there. In other words, at every instant of time there is no motion occurring

If everything is motionless at every instant, and time is entirely composed of instants, then motion is impossible.

Limbo is permanent.

Holy shit. This is brilliant beyond words! :)

I was watching this documentary - The Universe [Season 7, episode 5: Microscopic Universes] which states at one point that what we consider as reality is actually imaginary. And what we believe as paradox - the ones that both ask question and answer at the same time are the only incidents which are real.

So yeah, limbo is permanent :-)

This is such a surreal narration. Writing in present tense adds a palpable urgency to the scene in the readers mind.
I will gladly recommend your writing any day for a study in tropes and metonymy. The technique is brilliant and so delightfully fresh.

As for the narrative, I like that your story becomes the lost voice to the characters in the soap. When I read the later chapters, what can come across as maudlin in another story, leaves me with lasting profoundness of their love.

The parts where they do the understood talking, but they aren't really speaking with each other makes them lovers from another world.

With little words to speak of your writing, I leave you here with a cliche (that must make you take the bat and hit me on the head.)

Great writing!

Lost voice indeed. After a while the characters go out of hand and lead a life of their own. The exploration of characters becomes fascinating while set in same universe because they are all we know of and I am just leeching off them. But then again the on screen persona comes short of by not exploring what remains unsaid between them.

Thanks H :-)
