I greeted La and I went into my room.

I put my heels in a corner and I fell into bed exhausted. I exaggerated a lot. I got up and went to the bathroom to see in which state was my face, but all in all I was expecting something worse.

I was about to leave the bathroom and get back in the room when I had the irrepressible curiosity to into Arnav's room.

In clear mind I would never have done, but I was not glossy, so perhaps I could afford. I just wanted to see him sleeping, nothing more.

I opened the door that led from the bathroom to his room and trying to make as little noise as possible I went inside.

Arnav slept with pajamas and a t-shirt which was unbuttoned , well... we were in the middle of July and it was hot.

I could not help to pause and look at him in all his perfection. He was lying on his stomach, legs long and muscular, his back was perfect and sculpted biceps and quadriceps perfect, disheveled hair, a beard grown for several days that made him sexy and beautiful and damned by an expression that could also have while he slept.

I approached him and sat on the bed then I put my hand gently on his cheek with the clear intention of a caress him and when my hands touched his skin a shiver traveled throughout the spine and I do not know if he felt the same thing, I knew only that he opened his eyes and looked at me with that look that I had learned to love so much.

He did not seem surprised to see me there at all, at least at the beginning he was not surprised, perhaps even taken out of sleep he could not understand that I was really in that room, but soon after he mumbled something and got up sitting on the bed.

At that point I had to get up and run away, but I could not do it. It was not the rationality which control me, but the irrationality that wanted me there with Arnav..

- Khushi?-he asked, surprised with his voice still slurred by sleep.

The rest were half past five in the morning.

I did not answer, I simply just smiled.

- What are you doing here?-he asked me soon after.

- I wanted to see you sleep - I replied in a tone higher than normal, but above all with a confidence that was not mine.

Arnav probably had to notice that something was wrong, because he lit the small lamp placed on the table and looked at me for good.

-You're drunk - he said seriously.

- Just a little- I replied.

- Mine was not a question- he insisted smiling.

As soon as I saw that smile I saw no more and the only thing I wished to do was kiss him and irrationality that commanded me because of the alcohol made me closer to him exponentially.

He seemed surprised, but apparently continued to smile.

I went almost surely sat down on him, then lowered my head approaching his lips.
At that distance I could feel his breath on my skin and I was sure that he felt mine. I stopped a few inches from his lips and I stood firm in that point.

His hands began to stroke my face.

- You are playing with fire - he pointed out to me..

I did not answer and I just smiled and felt his hands move from my face to my arms.

- Khushi you're drunk, you do not know what you're doing - he remarked.

- I know exactly what I'm doing - I pointed out sure of myself.

- Indeed no. I'll not take advantage of you - he continued.

- Who is talking about taking advantage? I am totally willing - and basically it was true, even though I was aware I was not lucid that what I was doing was something I wanted to do for some time...I wanted to kiss him.

- You are totally drunk that is different and although you are a devil tempting me I can not do it. Tomorrow morning, you'll probably not remember anything and you'll blame me for taking advantage of the situation. So now you get to sleep and with a clear mind you'll will thank me tomorrow - he said sure moving gently away from me and stand on the other side of the bed.

I had no intention of listening to him, no intention, so I tried to get back again to its previous position, but he did not let me.

- From your behaviors I realized something else - I pointed out that his conscious attitudes in recent days had hinted quite the opposite.

- And you got it right, but not in this way Jalebi, not so - he said looked straight at me.

I puffed like a baby and he smiled..

- You'd better go to bed - then he suggested.

- I'm already in bed - I told him sure of myself.

I would not have gone to my room for anything in the world.

- In your bed, I mean -he remarked.

- Arnav Sweet night! - I told him settled back in bed and ignoring what he had said.

I rested my head on his chest and circled his body with my arms as if to embrace him, I gave him a light kiss on cheek

And then I got even closer to him.

It was then that I felt surrounded my body with his arm and at that moment I was aware that five years after that night I slept in the arms of the man who I loved .

I closed my eyes for enjoy that moment and only then I realized that I was really tired and soon I fell asleep, but before I abandon the world of dreams I thought I heard Arnav mutter something "For sure, I'll be next with you . "
