hi, i stopped wrting in the hope that taani came bac and took all this while to stabilise from the ...permanent breakup. as i cant get over them, ive started rewriting and also reading up stories on them. so here it is...its continuing from the time that she left and NO engagement track- the adithya/ramleela track.

part 4

Mobile ring- bhai'

Taani received the call," haan bhai, hello"

"hello taani..kaisi ho?"

"teek hoon, aap?"

"perfect" silence " taani? tum ho na? Matlab jaise yahaan se gayaab hogayi waise phone se bhi gayaab tho.."

"bhai...main yahin hoon. sab teek haina?"

"haan bilkul teek hain. kyun teek nahin hoga?"

"nahin aapne itne din baad call kiya tho.."

"tumne bhi college chodne ke baad call nahin kiya hain taani" silence on either end," its been 2 months now"

" sorry bhai. Main .."guiltily

"no its okay. I understand . main taunt nahin kar rahaan tha. mujhe pata hain ki tum kuch space chahthi thi. So its fine...chodo wo sab.. ab kaisi ho? new college main adjust hogaya? Friends bane?"

Taani smiled," sab teek hain bhai. Friends tho abhi nahin hain ...but usmein koi nayi baat nahin , mera tho hamesha se kam friends rahe haina" she laughed. Swayam heard the slight bitterness in her voice which she tried to hide," but mera studies projects sab achha chal rahaan hain and...ya ..main khush hoon"

"khush? Lag tho nahin rahaan..par tum kehthi ho tho i'll agree. Waise tumhaari aadat hogayi hain mujhe and ghar sab khaali khaali lagtha tha ...lagtha hain actually" she laughed happily," Next week aarahin ho na shaadi main?"

"haan aur aap?tauji ne kahaan ki aap sab bhi aaoge" and she stopped suddenly. Swayam sensed the Q in her voice and did not answer immediately waiting to see if she would ask about rey directly. When she didn't, he replied," haan. hum sab shaadi ke next day aayenge" silence ," tho ..see you then .. next week. "

"ji bhai. See you. Bye."

Taani smiled as she disconnected, missing you bhai. Aaj bohot din baad itna nice feeling aarahin hain aapse baat karke. Waise sab matlab kya rey bhi aayenge next week? " her heart leapt up for a second with the thought of seeing him again and an involuntary smile crept up her lips.

"TAAANIII" someones scream startled her. it was the guy with whom she was supposed to be working for the fest " TUM KAHAAN KHO GAYI HO?"

"sorry sorry main ..wo..bas aise ... kya chahiye aapko? "

"lists. Tumne kahaan ki meri madat karogi?"

"haan sorry..main dethi hoon"

" haan , thanks and tum mere saath chalogi? Kuch aur help hojaayega." Without waiting for her reply," thank you so much. I knew it tum mana nahin karogi"

" maine haan nahin kahaan"

"haan par tumne mana nahin kiya so.. " he smiled at her sweetly. Taani smiled back ," dekha , i knew you are helpful. Now please come. Waise bhi classes nahin hain abh."

Taani s home

Taani working in kitchen (Monologue) - tho directly poochna chahiye tha ki wo aarahe hain ya nahin...par mujhe koi farak nahin padna chahiye matlab do mahine hogaye hamara break up hoke tho ..(she shook her head vigorously)..taani ab bas ,agar rey aayenge tho normally milna hoga . ab tum waapas mudke nahin dekh sakthi. Abhi abhi tho sab normal horahaan hain. main teek hoon..main strong hoon.. main ...main professional hoon..matlab abhi main professionally rehne ki practice arrahin hoon...par taani tumhaare aaur rey ki beech yeh professional kahaan se aaya? Tumhaara tho personal ...nahin no personal...aur no professional relation bhi..waise koi relation hain hi nahin( she stopped , closed her eyes and took a deep breath) stop taani.

Mobile ringgg. .behind her. she turned in a hurry and picked it up.

"hello"

"hi taani." The guy," tum free ho? okay listen, wo jo..." blah blah blah( some work related stuff)hello...tum sun rahin ho?"

"haan aur main wo sab karchuki hoon " she replied remembering how rey had completed her work when she was GS .

"kya? Yaar tumne pehle kyun nahin bataya? Wow yaar tum tho bohot professionally kaam karthi ho" taani s expression changed from a half smile to a frown

"main koi professional wofessional nahin hoon" she retorted back

"what? " guy stopped confused, taani bit her lip and continued," sorry. Kuch nahin. I understood ki aur kya kya karna hain."

"okay thanks then see you . you are a sweetheart." Cut

Sweetheart- she had another glimpse of rey givin her a one armed hug calling her sweetheart- was it the same word that he used? It had sounded so different when he said it, so sweet, so loving, so special.

One week later- wedding over

Taani in her room wearing a lehenga- knock on the door- she opened the door.swayam smiled

" papa ne kahaan ki tum aaj hi waapas jaanewaali ho" and walked in, saw her bag lying on the bed.

"nahin kal early morning jaanewaali hoon , aaj raat ki function attend karke"

"itni jaldi kyun?"

She went back packing," kaam tha- mera kuch project proposal ka aur phir college mein, matlab mere college mein fest bhi hain, tho..."

"okkkayy" he dragged

She looked up at him ," kya bhai?" he sat on the stool nearby and shook his head indicating no," kuch kehna tha aapko?"

"nahin, mujhe laga ki tumhe kuch kehna hain" she shook her head," ya phir kuch poochna tha?" he looked at her questioningly. She looked at him for a second , met his eyes filled with concern and shook her head indicating a no.

Swayam sighed," main jaantha hoon ki tumhe kya jaannatha. Rey nahin aaya kyunki papa ne usse invite nahin kiya tha." she did not respond,"maine usse invite kiya par usse laga ki shayad tumhe accha nahin lagega..."

She half smiled sadly," yeh sab baat hum kyun karrahe hain? "

" kyunki tum upset lagrahi ho"

" didi ki shaadi hain bhai, rona tho bantha haina bidaai par" she smiled

"mujhe nahin pata ki tum mujhse baat kyun nahin karthi taani par.."swayam began.

tauji walked in " taani , uff tum yahaan ho? swayam ki mom tumhe dhoond rahin thi"

"kyun tauji?"

Tauji smiled," usko Sharon ke baare mein kuch poochna tha so..."

"Sharon ke baare mein? Kya?" swayam

Tauji shook his head smilingly ," mujhe nahin pata. Sharon usse impress karne ki kuch zyaada hi koshsish kararhin thi and ..."

Swayam looked irritated, confused while taani started laughing at him, tauji looked at his expression and joined taani in the laugh.

"yeh shaadiyaan bhi na...waise swayam rey kyun nahin aaya?"

Taani s and swayam exchanged a quick glance and taani looked away like it didn't matter.

"papa aapne tho usse invite nahin kiya tha "

"maine , nahin tho . maine sab ko bhulaya tha"

"oh, tho miss hogaya hoga papa"

"tumne kyun nahin invite kiya, tumhara best friend hai"

"Maine usse bhulaya par Rey ne socha ki shayad aap.." and swayam stopped not knowing how much to talk in front of his dad and taani together.

Swayams dad waited questioningly and then sighed," unnecessary confusions.main kyun invite nahin karoonga? rey ko mere taraf se sorry boldena ..."

"aap kyun sorry bolrahen ho ? agar kisio nahin aana hain tho bahana miljaatha hain"

taani cut across sharply making both swayam and his dad glance at her. she realised her tone was harsh and continued in a forced normal tone ," matlab badon ko choton se sorry bolne ki zaroorat nahin hota aur wo bhi itne choti si baat ke liye"

"haan papa its okay"

"haan, waise bhi rey ko agar aana hota tho zaroor aathe bhai ke bhulaane par"

swayam looked at her surprised.

Tauji smiled but before he could reply, TAANIII , Aashi came running into the room,

" kahaan gaayb hojaathi hai aap? Hum sab ..." and stopped catching sight of swayams dad.

He smiled at her and looking back at taani /swayam said,"chalo, taani packing baad mein karna.come on" and walked out.

Aashi turned to taani,"aapko aaj jaane ki zaroorat kya hain?itna fun miss karoge" but without allowing her to reply turned to swayam,"humne taani ko ramleela main miss kiya na? "

"haan...taani," swayam,"hamari baat complete nahin hui thi"

She cut him short," Kuch hain hi nahin baat karne ko ..." and looked at him ,sighed ," please bhaiyya ...itni badi baat nahin hain. Main aise hi khush hoon. waise bhi aapko Sharon bha..sharon ko dhoondna chahiye "

Swayam got up, his face had been showing a lot of irritation as she spoke," fine khush raho. Aur mujhe batane ki koi zaroorat nahin ki mujhe kya karna chahiye" and walked away. taani s face fell.

Aashi looked at taani sweetly," aap kya rey ko expect karrahin thi?"

taani shook her head," mera breakup hochuka hain aashi"

"haan, pata hain. isiliye tho rey aur main saath hain" aashi replied with a straight face.

"KYA?"

"aapko kisine bataya nahin?"aashi continued in a semiserious tone

"nahin, matlab...tum aur rey?"

"arre waah ab aap se tum bangayi main?"

"nahin sorry...lekin tum...aap tho bhai... main..."taani spoke confused and suddenly upset.

Aashi burst out laughing and said " aapka chehra dekhne laayak tha abhi abhi" and linked her arm with taani," itna sad mat bano. Wo bas ek..drama tha " Taani relaxed, aashi continued teasingly ," par aapka tho breakup hogaya haina? Tho farak nahin padna chahiye."

"aashi itna khush kaise rehthi ho?" taani smiled at her
