This is a beautiful story, your description of the gradual unfurling of spring is a beautiful metaphor for the return of a Khushi, not the old one, but one with an added depth to her. It is also symbolic of their relationship blossoming into something equally beautiful. Love the gentle pace of the story and how you have got other characters to tell us parts of the story.

very good part...sorry could not read it before...i agree with you that arnav was not thinking about her romantically but as now they are spending time together as you said her eyes becoming an addiction to him...some time falling in love is slow process...i am not saying khushi have to fall in love with arnav or she did not loved her husband, all i am saying is that they were childhood friend and they did not explore the love angle...love is there may be they don't want to explore otherwise khushi would not have needed arnav to pull out of her grief

Its a heart warming part... Over the time Arnav & Khushi r getting back to there old times ...

He never let her alone for a moment & always made sure to be there whenever she wanted him... Even Shashi is so grateful and he can see that only Arnav can get his Daughter back to her self...

Loved how he is so caring & understanding .. He is being there for her like a true friend & No matter what has happened & what ever may be the situation For Him She wil Always be HIS Khushi ..

beautiful update

khushi is striving hard to come back to life n in her struggle Arnav is with her. truely it's perfect for Arnav " A friend in need is a friend indeed".

khushi's father is thankful for arnav to take out time from his busy life n was present n stood with his friend khushi , what khushi's parents n sister couldn't do Arnav did that. Now arnav n khushi relation is also progressing as he addresses khushi as his khushi.

looking forward to read more.

Thank you for yet another flawless chapter Manreet! Thank you for taking the time out to scrap us and notify us of the next installment. Yet again your immaculate description of Khushi's feelings, her grief and her over all emotions through Arnav's eyes was just perfection.

We could clearly tell that Arnav's heart was breaking to see his friend so broken, we could also clearly see that Arnav's feelings are deep not in the romantic way but in an emotional way :-) the way one feels for their family! :)

Shashi's perspective further shed some light on how it took their Khushi six months and a little something from Arnav to get a glimpse of her normal self. Looking very much forward to the next part and see how this beautiful friendship would transform into something more or not! I am ready for anything!

The seasons changed. And so did Khushi's way of living with the grief. It is spring and one can only hope for the bright summer to come and instill the happiness in their lives.

Shashi Gupta's perspective was again important as you so beautifully described the feelings of a father who is eager to meet the daughter whom he once used to know.

There is one thing which is common- everyone wants to meet or have the Khushi back which she once used to be.

Arnav's love has transcended all the petty, ordinary demarcations of romantic love or platonic love.

Khushi is Arnav's soul. I seem to understand that more when he or even Khushi's father says "his Khushi".

Shashi Gupta's perspective is again from a different timeline.

The way you put thoughts and emotions into words is something i come across very rarely!
Its beautiful really!

Going through something like this so early in her life, i can only imagine Khushi's plight!
But then one can come out of worse of the times with the support of the right people!

He is a great friend! And though he doesnt love her romantically, its only a matter a time i guess, it will change soon. Their relationship runs at a much deeper level and his support and constant presence will help her see him in the new light too!

I'm speechless..!!

The interplay of words you pen down to show their state of mind is so effective, that I'm left spellbound at the narration!! You sure your teacher didn't make you aware of your writing skills?

Coming back to Arnav's love for Khushi, I didn't mean to say he is perceiving her in that light right now.. Right now she needs to heal & he is the only person that can help her to do so..

I thought he might have felt it while he lost her with her marriage to some one...

Wonderful writing M! But this is not enough for me. I want a full blown FF ( may be a different story ) from you!!!
