Thank you so much for continuing🤗, means a lot. It is an emotional read(its a compliment), loved the attention to detail. I felt an unique energy in this chapter, may be because of the presence of IPK characters I love.
Astha wearing black, felt like she is mourning and trying to hold on to him through her clothes, poor thing. I have never felt that Shlok ever noticed her inclination towards brighter colors, if he has noted that, then seeing her at the party wearing black will be like a slap to him. Guessing he will be more tormented, knowing that he is responsible for her transformation( more regret, bring it on!). OK, I must confess, started feeling sorry for him. Thank you for blending IPK and EBP so well, I loved it👏. I liked that you mentioned Anjali as ANGEL-y...she is truly an angel. Are you planning an MU between Astha and Shlok over divorce papers(if then we will get more chapters,I'm happy), guessing they both have no role in it. At this rate most of the rooms in Agnihothri mansion will be messy and locked down by Shlok, to keep the bittersweet memories of the girls he loved 🤣. Do something about that room with Swathi's stuff to make Astha realize that he has moved on. Shlok's reaction of not trusting that his father can be wrong is a believable approach.
Lines I loved:-
her brother's eyes watered..Shlok, softly: Business trip. She doesn't need to compromise and make it work with a man who never deserved her in the first place. ...You portrayed his helpless jealousy so well.
Just like that. Impersonally. In a cold, white envelope, she sent him his life's decision.
There was middle-class and royalty, Hindu and Muslim, Lebanese and Persian, and then there was Khushi. 😆😆 she is in a class all of her own.
