Hmmm, that reminded me so much of Browning's 'My Last Duchess'! Thankfully it did not end the way the poem did, but if Arnav does not check his impulses that is where he can go.

A rather tame end to the very intense interaction that preceded it!

The whole thing was so intense that I felt I was in the library in teh carrel next to theirs eavesdropping on their arguement.

That was some good use you made of your stress!!😊

Arnav is so possessive, jealous and protective.
I loved their equation of being equals. You explained Arnav's behavior effectively by linking it to the life he has lived and how and why is Khushi so important.
The guy at the shop may or may not be flirting but it did good to both of them. Khushi understood why was Arnav behaving this way.
I loved this direct approach and well that almost kiss with him freeing pen from her mouth gave jitters to me.
So do we get another shot or part of it - the more direct approach? Please consider.😊
