The singhaniya's along with their relative arrived at the Ghai mansion. Music was being played loudly with people dancing like maniacs. Well it's a typical big fat Indian wedding. The Ghai's welcomed the groom and his family in a grand manner, with the red carpet laid on the ground and flower petals bestowing upon them as they proceeded further.
Rey was dressed in a red sherwani with golden work embossed attire. He would have looked even more hot if his face would have been adorned with a srmile. Alas! That wasn't the case.
Everyone was impressed with the decorations made. No stone was left unturned while embellishing the house. The entire mansion looked no less than a newly wed bride.
After a while Gautam and Smriti led Rey towards the mandap. As soon as Rey seated himself the priest began chanting the sacred vows that are chanted before the arrival of the bride. On the instruction from the priest Smriti and Sharon heeded upstairs to get Kriya.
Slowly Kriya descened down the stairs with Sharon and Smriti on either sides and few other girls following behind. She looked so ravishing in that red and silver lehnga that accentuated her assets perfectly. Elegance reflected in volumes in her walk. The veil not only covered her face but also helped her in hiding her upset face.
"Daadi, why is mommy's face covered?" Kaira asked Preeti.
"Because it's a ritual." Preeti replied.
Kriya was made to sit beside Rey and soon the preist again began chanting the sacred vows. Both of them got up and started taking rounds around the sacred fire.
"Vivah sampurn huya." The priest announced after Rey finished tieing the mangalsutra and applying the sindoor.
Both the families congratulated each other. An elated Kaira went and hugged her newly wed parents together.
"Yayy, mommy will live with me from now." She chirped happily.
Kriya sat on the bed waiting for Rey with nervousness eating up from inside. She clutched her dress tight. Though the air conditioner was switched on, sweat beads still rolled down her face. She didn't understand why the heck was she feeling so damn tensed.
"What if he tries to touch me or do something else." Her mind pondered.
"Nothing will happen. Rey isn't that type of guy. He's good." Her heart defended Rey.
"But in the end he is a man. And you can't trust a man's intentions especially when he is deprived of the sexual pleasure over so many years." Her mind argued back.
"Kriya stop worrying sweety. Nothing's going to be wrong. He will surely understand you." Her heart convinced her.
Before her mind could retaliate back, the door opened and Rey entered in.
