awesome update loved their conversation it shows they both love each other...but was that line "written by vanished hand" is he died...i was crying after reading this update

Teaser for Chapter 9.

The staid waters of the river had been angrily brought to life by the strong gail, that raged relentlessly and darkened the swollen waves with chaotic turbulence in it's wake. The bells of the temple swayed wildly and in Khushi's mind, their frenzied loud ringing resonated in chorus with the relentless pounding of her heart while she waited anxiously inside the ancient temple. As the fierce rain continued to drum forcefully on the roof, Khushi's lips moved ceaselessly in silent prayers..

It was almost dark when the storm abated a little, the wind dwindled some, the rain became gentler and the waves shrank back in exhaustion . Sitting on the rough floor with her head resting tiredly on her drawn up knees, she had almost given up hope when she heard the faint sound of a wooden oar cutting powerfully through the waters. Her heart leapt up in her bosom with a painful suddenness as she lifted her head and strained her ears to ensure that her mind was not playing tricks with her.

It was not.

Unmindful of the rain and the wind, she rushed out of the temple and ran down it's steps, her anklets chiming in rhythm with the falling rain drops. Reaching the ghat, she stood breathlessly at the topmost step and gazed at the yellow orb of light coming closer and closer to her with every sound of the oar. Khushi had never heard a more beautiful sound in her whole life.

She didn't care that her sari was soaked and plastered against her body, revealing it's each and every contour. With her dark long hair swaying a little in the wind and framing her face in wet tendrils, her eyes shone with pride and excitement.

Pride of a woman who is dangerously aware of her charms and excitement of a bride who can't wait to see it's effect on her husband..

Jen Jen, You say three parts...and I'm thinking part one ended...So, if this is the beginning of part two...who is this husband Khushi is waiting for? Arnav? Not feeling that somehow...hope I'm wrong.
