"Nk, listen to me please. I never meant to lie to you, infact it wasn't even a lie." She begged, trying to pace up with him.
"Totally, it wasn't even a lie. You have to talk to lie, but here, we never even spoke. I have been trying to talk to you since ages but madam was never free, now I know why." He accused.
"Oh come on NK, let me explain please."
"No." came his instant reply.
"Fine. Can I atleast do something for you to woo you back?" she asked, innocently.
Nk looked back, narrowing his eyes on her when he suddenly got a mischievous idea in his head.
"Will you do anything to gain my forgiveness?" he asked with a straight face but was only grinning like an idiot inside his head.
"Anything, I promise." She had no idea what she had signed up for.
"Good." He said as he pointed towards his lip, making his intentions crystal clear
"What? Are you crazy? Here?" she asked, bewildered as she looked around to see them surrounded by people.
"If you want me to forgive you." was all he said.
"Ugh, why did I have to fall in love with you." she muttered as she went close to him and gently put her lips on his.

Arnav and Khushi were sitting on the sofa in Khushi's room, silently holding on to each other as they thought about how things had changed between them in such a short period of time.
Khushi had started gaining more and more confidence on their relationship. She had noticed how Arnav had time and again proved what she meant to him and how he would stand up for her, no matter what the situation is.
He might have not told her but she had eventually gotten to know about why she was suddenly made the main designer for the show. She had had her suspicion which was only confirmed by the previous designer.
He had given her this responsibility to make her confident, to make her believe in herself and that had made her fall in love with him even more.
He had done it again, proved it to her that she was more important than anything else and the least she could do was live up to his expectations. He had given her the responsibility, trusting her to do her best and she was not going to disappoint him.
She had worked day and night to make sure that the designs were perfect.
She was so nervous. She was not only the designer but also Arnav's PA, making her work double. She now also had to make sure that nothing went wrong with the preparations of the show and everything is in order.
Now, she could only cross her fingers and wish nothing went wrong.
She felt a warm arm going around her waist, pulling her towards a hard body as she looked up and smiled.
"What are you thinking about, Sugar?" he asked softly.
"About how everything has changed in such a short period of time. When I came to AR, I had never expected any of this to take place. You and me, meeting Lavanya again, Lavanya and NK, this is all so overwhelming that I feel it's all a dream. I will wake up any moment and this would all vanish." Giving him a sad smile as he tightened his hold on her.
"Its not a dream, baby. This is reality and its time you understand that and accept it." He gave her a reassuring smile and gently pecked her lips.
"I wish so too." She sighed.
They sad there for another few minutes when Arnav's phone rang, indicating a text message. He checked his phone to see NK's message asking them to come down for dinner.
"Khush, go freshen up. I will come in 10 minutes and then we can go have a quick dinner. Rest all you want today because from tomorrow its going to be bad."
Giving her a smile he left the room from the common door.

Arnav and Khushi walked into the restaurant and spotted Lavanya and NK sitting on a couch.
Lavanya was laughing about something NK had said when she spotted the duo walking hand in hand. She smiled at them only to be returned with a scowl from Khushi's side.
"Khushi, don't be so hard on her." Arnav said, sympathizing with Lavanya. He knew Khushi could be very difficult and that was exactly what she was going to be right now.
"Don't tell me how to be with her. This is not the first time she is hiding something this big from me." Khushi narrowed her eyes on Arnav, making him instantly shut up.
They walked up to the table and sat on the couch opposite to NK and La.
"Lets eat dinner. I'm quite tired." Khushi said, as soon as they sat. She was in no mood to talk to Lavanya right now.
"Khus-" La started.
"NK, what would you like to eat?" interrupted Khushi.
"I think a pizza would do for me." He replied, awkwardly. Did he just get stuck in between two best friends fight?
"Arnav?" Khushi continued.
"Ah, a red pasta." Came the reply.
Khushi turned around and called the waiter.
"One pizza, one red pasta and 2 white sauce pasta's please." She said "Oh, and 4 diet cokes as well." She suddenly added.
"Yes, ma'am." The waiter smiled and went away.
There was an awkward silence lingering in the atmosphere which Arnav thought of breaking.
"Okay, so we have loads of work tomorrow. Let me just tell both of you what you have to do so I don't have to deal with that tomorrow."
Both the girls nodded, giving him their undivided attention, making him continue.
"Khush, I want you to be only taking care of the preparations of the show. All the work that you have to do as my PA should be done and La, I want you to be taking care of the designs and the models. They can be very hard to take care of and you're the only person I can trust with this work."
"Okay." Came the answer in unison. They looked at each other but Khushi immediately turned her face away.
"Happiness-"
"Don't you dare, La. Don't you dare Happiness me." Khushi charged, pointing her finger at La, trying her best to not yell.
"Okay okay, I'm sorry." La surrendered, "But atleast hear me out Khushi." She made a puppy dog face.
"Fine. Speak." Came Khushi's blunt reply.
"Khushi, I wasn't hiding any of this from you, I just never got the time to tell you. You know I don't hide anything from you."
Khushi instantly narrowed her eyes, "Okay fine, there was one time that I did lie but that was a necessity and that was almost 15 years ago, can we please not get there." La said, clearly indicating her desire to not speak of the past.
"Fine we wont get there. But what the hell do you mean by not getting the time to tell me? Dammit La, we were staying under the same roof. You were in the room right next to mine. Could you never barge into my room to tell me such an important thing? Could you not wake me up from my precious sleep and tell me that what you have to say is more important that anything else?" hissed Khushi.
"Look, I know I was wrong and honestly speaking I never even knew why I was hiding it from you. I am not going to make an excuse about the same. You are hurt because of me and have the full right to not talk to me." La said, in a soft voice, as a tear fell off her eye making Khushi melt the very moment.
She got up from the couch and walked to La, pulling her in a tight bear hug.
"I'm sorry for being so hard on you, La. I was just hurt."
"Khushi, I'm sorry. I promise, no more secrets."
"No more secrets." Khushi agreed.
"Ahem Ahem. Excuse me girls but can I know the reason for this continuous drama that I have to witness?" Arnav said, a few minutes later when the best friends showed no sign of leaving each other.
"What are you talking about?" NK asked.
"Oh, these two girls should really have been in theatre instead. Since the day they have met, I get to witness their nonsensical drama everyday. Oh and not to forget the special appearance of Anjali di at times."
That very moment he felt two cushions landing on him.
"Shut up Arnav." The girls said in unison. They looked at each other and this time started laughing.
The boys on the other side smiled looking at their love in admiration. They pulled their girls down, making them both land of their hard chests and stopping their laughter.
***
They finished their dinner while making small talks. They all decided to call it a night and meet again the next morning to start their work.
Arnav asked Khushi to move forward with NK and he would join her in a minute. Pulling Lavanya aside, he spoke quietly so that only she would hear him.
"You know what you have to do, right?"
"Don't worry ASR. The work has begun."
