"The truth is I admire and maybe, possibly feel...things...for you. I cannot deal with emotions and so had to remove myself on a pretext before I declare my undying love for you, which would just be bad form. Plus the business trip would make me oodles of money. Come now, don't be a coquette. You know you'll forgive me because I'm extremely handsome and mysterious. And let's be honest: my apparent disregard for your feelings just makes you want me more. Now I must dash. Have to go off make more money and secretly brood over how much I admire you."

Chaaya in a corner mumbling away on a phone

"Saab...I think Chote Saab has a bit of an ego..."

Cue evil laugh heard from the phone: "Mwaahaahaa! I am setting my evil plans in motion. Keep me apprised of more inane and ridiculous conversations!"

I'm sorry, I wrote utter rubbish - I'm just a bit stressed right now... 😆

But I really loved the update. I hope Khushi does tell him off. And hope they rat out that mole tout de suite.
