It was time for festivities again in Shantivan. Relatives and friends started pouring in and the entire hall of Shantivan was decorated with fairy lights and flowers for the occassion.
Khushi was helping Diya in getting ready and once it is done she rushed up the stairs to get the kids and herself ready for the engagement ceremony.Arnav was already ready and had gone with Aakhash to check on the arrangements and help NK.
She went to Anjali's room where the kids were playing with Anju and Piyush.Anjali is already dressed in one of her beautiful designer sarees and was picking out a dress for Anjana. "Arey Khushiji aap aagaye " she smiled when she spotted Khushi in the doorway.
Khushi smiled "Haan di. Bohot dher ho gaye hai.Hum jaldi se in dhono ko thaiyar karke neeche aajayenge " ( Ya di it got late.I'l get these two ready soon and come down)
Anjali smiled "Arey Koi baat nahi Khushiji aap kapde deejije hum inhe ready kar denge.Aap ko bhi thaiyaar hona hai " she said smiling at Khushi's salwar and hastly tied dupatta on the side.
Khushi pouted at her naughty kids who were busy playing.They hardly glanced at her this time."Nahi di.In dhono ko sambhal na utna aasan nahi hai.Hum karlenge.Aap Anju ko thaiyar kijiye.Piyush tho pehle se hi thaiyaar hai "(No di.Managing these two is not easy.I'l do it.You get Anju ready.Piyush is already ready) she said smiling at her quiet and sweet nephew who was already dressed in a red sherwani.
With that she carried her protesting kids to their room."Maa neeche iyush iyush " Arushi screamed down the hallway as Khushi carried both of them with difficulty.Arush's lips quivered ready to howl and join his sister anytime.
"Bas thodi dher mein aap dhono Piyush aur Anju ke saath khel sakte ab rhona band kijiye " ( Ya in a little while you both can play with Piyush and Anju.Now stop crying) She said trying to cajole them.
Arushi cried for few more minutes but when Khushi dint bother with her pretense, she pouted and strolled forward to grab her Barbie and teddy bear her earlier tears forgotten.Khushi smiled within herself at her daughter's antics, she reminded her so much about herself in that age.
Arush ran to the other end of the room and tried to get on his wooden horse with struggle. He grinned triumphantly , when he managed to sit on his own.Khushi smiled "Arey wah aap iss baar khud hi koshish ki " ( Wow you tried on your own this time ) She ruffled her son's wavy hair and pressed a kiss to his forehead.
She went to the wardrobe and picked up the clothes for the kids.Since Arushi loves dressing up , she went to her first.As always Arushi got excited when Khushi showed her the new small ghagra gifted by Diya.Diya had presented Khushi and the kids with new clothes to be worn on her engagement.
Arushi clapped her hands in glee and quickly began pulling off her frock impatiently."Arey Puri rukiye.Aap iss bechare kapde ko phad denge "( Puri wait you will tear the poor clothes) she said laughingly and helped her daughter to remove the frock she was wearing and lovingly made her wear the new ghagra.The top was like halter model and both the top and skirt was embroidered beautifully with tiny stones and mirrors.
Arush was meanwhile playing with the horse while sucking his right thumb.Unlike Arushi he doesn't get excited easily for small things like new dress.
Khushi admired her daughter who was looking pretty in the dress and laughed when Arushi twirled around holding her skirt.She quickly tied her hair in a small pony tail and tied it with matching maroon satin ribbon.
Once Arushi is ready, Khushi made her sit on the bed and handed her favourite toys to play with while she dressed up Arush. Arush frowned and pouted when he saw Khushi approaching him with new clothes.
The minute he realized her intentions he got down with little struggle this time and began running around the room, much to the amusement of Arushi and Annoyance of Khushi.
"Aloo rukhiye.Jaldi yahaan aa jayiye humare paas samay nahi hai "( Aloo stop and come here fast I don't have much time ) Khushi said sternly after running behind him for full five minutes."Yeh Arnavji kahan gaye.Hume sab kuch akhele sambhalna padta hai "( Where did this Arnavji go? Am left to handle everything alone) she muttered to herself as she finally managed to make Arush wear the maroon/gold embroidered sherwani a matching combo for Arushi's ghagra.
Payal came in seconds later wearing a green designer saree looking pretty "Arey Khushi tum ab tak thaiyaar nahi hui? "( Arey Khushi you dint get ready yet? ) she said glancing at Khushi still in her old clothes.
Khushi sighed and sat down on the bed "Arey Jiji poocho mat.Yeh dhono ko thaiyaar karne mein waqt lag gayi.Tum pls yeh dhono ko apne paas le chalo ya phir Arnavji ke pass chod do.Hum bas paanch minute mein thaiyaar hokar neeche aajayenge "( Jiji don't ask me.I got late while making these two get ready.You pl take them with you or leave them with Arnavji.I will get ready in just 5 mins and come down)
Payal smilingly agreed and took the two kids down.Khushi again sighed in relief and began getting ready in jet speed.She had just finished pinning up her saree pallu when Arnav came in.
The minute Arnav opened their bedroom, he was greeted with a vision in red.Khushi was looking stunning in bright red saree embroidered with silver and golden flowers.He was sure he had not seen this one before.His breath caught in his throat when Khushi turned her back as she searched for her earrings.Her low cut blouse which was held together by thin strap and a dori gave him a full view of her milky white back.
His legs carried on his own.Khushi looked up at the right time to see her husband's glazed look in the mirror.But she was in a hurry at the moment and also annoyed at him for not helping her with kids earlier ."Arnavji! kahan the aap? Pata hai aap ke bachon ne hume kitne thang ki thaiyaar hone mein ? Ab dhekiye hum ab tak thaiyar nahi hue or sagai bees min mein shuru hone wala hain.Hey Devi Maiya hum kya karein " ( Arnavji where wer u ? Do you how much your kids troubled me in getting ready? Now see am still not ready and engagement will start in twenty mins.Hey Devi Maiya what do I do ) with that she ignored him and began searching for her missing earrings.
Arnav smirked to himself.His Khushi always looked extra beautiful when she is angry or annoyed.He knew she is upset with him, when she said 'your kids troubled me ' as if he trained them to trouble their mother specifically.
He also knew how to cool her down.He spotted her earring box lying beneath the diaper changing table.Must be the doing of one of their little brats.He bent down and picked it up.He dropped a kiss on her shoulder and brought the earring box to front.
"Here you go" He gave it to her and coming to the front he cupped her cheeks in his hands and smiled at her admiringly "Khushi you look very beautiful and like I always say red is your color" grinning he dropped a kiss to her slightly redding nose.
All of Khushi's anger was vanished on seeing the look in his eyes and his sexy smirk.She smiled at his compliment.When Diya gifted this saree she knew Arnav would love it as its his favourite color and he likes her in red.
She lost herself in his chocolaty eyes when he looped his arms around her bare waist and pulled her more closer.She smiled teasingly "Acha? Hum beautiful hai? " Unable to resist any longer, he bent his head and lightly captured her supple lips in answer.
Khushi drowned herself in the kiss as he nipped and nibbled her soft lips and stroked her tongue with his in a sensual rhythm.Khushi had momentarily forgotten all about NK-Dia engagement ceremony, her senses fully attuned to Arnav's kiss and his touch on her bare waist.His clever hands started roaming all around her body making her moan softly.
"Khushi?? Tum thaiyaar nahi hui abhi tak? Sagaai shuru hone wala hai.Jaldi aao " ( Khushi??You are not ready yet? Engagement is going to start come soon) Payal's voice outside the door slowly penetrated into her foggy mind.And Khushi gasped in shock pulling apart.Her eyes widening and her fingers nervously touched her lips which is still tingling from his kiss.
Arnav groaned.Good thing he had the sense to lock the door when he came in.Otherwise this kiss would have been added to their interrupted kisses list.Khushi pouted "Arnavji hume neeche jaana chahiye.Aur aap tho yahaan--" ( Arnavji we have to be downstairs and here you are--) she stopped her sentence at his smirk.
"Main yahaan kya Khushi? " ( Me here what khushi?) He asked teasingly with a quirk of his eyebrow.Khushi hit his chest playfully "Aap ache se jaante hai hum kis barein mein baat kar rahe hai " ( you know very well what am talking about)
Arnav chuckled "Exactly Khushi tum woh mindblowing kiss ke baarein mein baat kar rahi thi na ? " ( Exactly Khushi , you are talking about that mindblowing kiss right ?) he said smirking as he trapped her with her usage of 'kis' to this kiss.
Before she could comeback with a reply , they heard another knock , followed by Aakhash's amused voice "Bhai aap andhar hai? Jaldi aayiye.NK bhai is waiting "
Arnav groaned again and muttered "Lets get this over with " making Khushi laugh as they made their way downstairs to join the festivities.

NK looked dashing in a Royal blue designer sherwani and Dia looked gorgeous in a Baby pink designer lehenga.They made a perfect couple on stage as they exchanged rings looking at each other with a shy smile.
A loud cheer went up the room, when a shy NK kissed the ring clad finger of Diya's after making her wear his ring."Kya baat hai NK bhai aap kab se itne romantic ban gaye " Aakhash hugged NK's shoulder and asked him teasingly.
Khushi hugged Dia and shook NK's hands happily "Aap dhono ko saagai ki bohot bohot mubarak ho "
Arush ran forward and engulfed Diya's legs in a gesture to carry him.Diya laughed and kissed his chubby cheeks after lifting him in her arms "Wow Arush tum tho aaj bohot handsome lag rahe ho " She then laughed at NK who was getting a kiss shower from Arushi.
Anjali hugged NK and teased him "Arey NK bhai Diya ji se zyaada aap sharma rahe hai " (NK Bhai more than Diya you are getting shy ) NK chuckled and shot a cozy look to Diya who blushed.
"Hello Hi Bye Bye Engagementwa toh phinished hui gayi.Ab weddingswa ko plannings karega padi " Manorama said grinning happily.
"Haan Mamiji panditji ne agle mahine shaadi ke liye shubh muhurat nikhala hai " Anjali said smiling broadly clapping her hands together excitedly.
Khushi grinned "Haan di bohot saara kaam pada hai " She then glanced at Arnav with a challenging look "Aur iss baar Arnavji Aloo Puri ko sambhalenge " ( Ya di lot of work is pending and this time Arnavji will handle Aloo and Puri )
Arnav smirked "Deal "
