I am all kinds of Shattered right now. And stumped. And stunned. And in awe.

This is just one incident. When you think about all the innocent lives that have been lost in the last century over this, there are times you think if God is on a long, long holiday. So many Anjali-s and so many NK-s. And those who want to do right and lives without prejudices are also made to suffer. You brought a tear to my eyes, and then more. It was so poignant, and the writing was brilliant. The pain, the loss, the anguish. Of Arnav as well as Khushi.

She was a child, probably in her teens. She reminds me of Briony in Atonement, who had no idea how catastrophic the consequences of her actions would be.

Anjali was the one who stopped breathing, but Arnav and Khushi too lost their lives that day - what is existence without love and without dreams?

Can't blame Arnav for hating Khushi. I could blame Khushi but she was young and naive and has suffered enough. *kyun dard hai itna?*

Stunning update Juhi. The last scene was just spectacular, so vivid and visual I felt this was happening right in front of me to people I know (God I hope this never comes true) The build-up, the anticipation, the climax - all of us Shattered, truly. Take a bow, lady!

you built up the suspense so well, kept us on the edge and finally you nailed it with perfection..

I could clearly feel the emotional turmoil of each character.

We can go on and on blaming people for situations but the fact remains that what has happened cannot be erased and time is the only healer.

what had happened 10 years ago was like a tsunami that washed away the happiness from the lives of many...but what they need to do now is stop living under the shadow of the past and embrace what the future holds for them.

Juhi, you have raised an issue which is very close to my heart. Its sad to know that even today we see cases of honour killing. Its difficult to believe that there are some individuals or groups who believe they are much higher than the law and think they hold the right to make choices for others.

Coming back to the story, I can now clearly empathise with Arnav for the reasons he hated Khushi with vengeance and his reasons for leaving his country and making a promise to himself to never return. It isn't easy, after losing his mother at an early age to lose his sister who was a mother figure to him.

On the other hand its difficult for me to go totally against Khushi because her intentions were clean and her impulsive behaviour can be attributed to her age. She had most certainly not expected the repercussions of her actions to be so severe, yet the idea to emotionally blackmail a girl to step out of her house on the wedding day is not acceptable to me especially when Anjali and NK had both decided to move on.

Again brilliant update...

Look forward to the next update to know how they are going to let go of the demons of the past...

Hey!

Great update.

Before this interlude, I was really hating Arnav.

But after this, knowing what he went through, how can anyone blame him, for his nafrat?

And his nafrat, unlike others, is warranted.

He lost the only person who was close to him in the nightmare that happened years ago in Sheesh mahal.

No, I don't blame Khushi for Anjali's death. But that said, Khushi did make a mistake.

A big one.

Granted, she had NK's happiness to see to, but her one rash decision destroyed far too many lives.

If I were in Arnav's place, I would have reacted a lot worse.

So no, I don't blame Arnav for the way he is behaving with her in the present. Not anymore.

I'd have done a lot worse.

Arnav asked her not to do anything.

he made her promise. And she broke it.

And she is paying for that even now.

She has had to live with the guilt for almost a decade.

It is inevitable Arnav and Khushi will end up together.

But they have a lot of grief and anger and mistrust to overcome.

And I don't think its going to be easy for them.

NK, I would have never imagined to be Nayeem Khan!

Your authors note is exactly what I feel.
Baaz dafa hum mazhaab ko aysa issue bana deytey hain key us ki waja sey baray baray masley kharey ho jatey hain. Waqai mein yeh ek aysi nafrat hai jo shaidh hi kabhi khataam ho.

This is a very powerful and emotional interlude Juhi.

The whole story as usual is brilliantly written as always.

Ab dekhna yeh hai key Arnav aur Khushi ab kya karein gay . kya ab phir mazhaab beech mein aye ga?

and both of them being at government posts.

Dreadful past . But can't understand despite what khushi did instead of hating her to the core why such feelings of attraction n longing Arnav realised for khushi

He should be the one to still destroy her knowing his temperament then why does he feel the opposite for khushi
