No ambiguity from Shekhar's side, he loved her, could not speak up in time last time, did that this time.
But why did Meera blast him off? If she is not interested in him then she could have just told him so, if she needed time then she could have told him that too. Her effort to shrug him off was a bit visible, not just to us, to Shekhar as well. She definitely did not think that he was taking advantage of her situation then what was the point in insulting him? She never loved him, right? It had always been one sided, isn't it?

Am I missing something??

I do understand confusion in readers mind for meera...that is only reason ...i thought of focussin more on her thought process...n her decisions...

Just as I said ..sometimes you are not aware of your own heart..n its decisions..thus meera is at crossroad..where thinking that she needed time..will only make shekhar wait more...does she want him to wait for her..he is ready to love her without any expectations from her side... but what about her feelings for her friend...why would she want him to have such relation who cannot give his love back in equal measure..😊...she herself doesnt know..whether she will think on this proposal or not ..so why will she tell him...or give him any hope...only way was escape... about hurting him..in anger sometimes we do hurt people whom we love ..or who are very close to us.. yes her statement was like a slap..to their friendship..but in midst of this confusion..I thought this could be ideal retort from her...

hope i cleared some doubts...if not pardon the author..yeah i love torturing shekhar...😈
