I am so glad I stuck with this story from the prologue...it truly is one of the best written and most thought provoking stories on this forum. Congrats to you👏
I'm not going to lie, I was so disappointed with the chapter when Arnav went to Lavanya's place and started kissing her and telling her how much he loves her, despite his married status. I really didn't want to see him stoop that low and actually didn't want to read the story further. But the way you moved the story from there was simply brilliant. You made this flawed man redeem himself and make him a better man, not just for himself, but for his family and for his wife.
Khushi's journey was also something you portrayed so nicely! She went from feeling like an unloved, unwanted young woman, who had suffered through a lot of heartbreak and she finally got her chance at happiness and love when she gave Arnav that second chance. Just shows that you shouldn't close some doors permanently; you never know what can happen if you take a chance (I hope I remember that when I'm faced with making any decision in the future). Now she's a confident, more mature woman that has truly found her happiness!
I'm so happy you decided to write this last chapter. I am glad that Lavanya was able to step up and move forward in life, without behind held back by all the crap in her past. It was very sad to see her so broken down in the last chapter.
Also glad that this last chapter you showed how Khush has let go of the insecurities stemming from the past. Even though she was upset with how Arnav realized his love, she has now moved on from it and is leading a happy life with him. The way you showed their relationship in the last chapter was really sweet and endearing...a great happily ever after😊 I am also happy the families were able to mend fences!
I am really going to miss the regular updates from this story. I looked forward to reading your update every day; literally checked IF first thing in the morning to see whether you updated or not! Now I will look forward to seeing how you move Chasing Dreams forward and will also try to catch up with your new short story!
Happy anniversary in advance!
