Sorry for the delay in writing, but weekends are always very hectic for me. Too many social commitments, mostly.😕 So without wasting any more time'.😊 First of all '..Lovely lovely banner by Mints!!!👏 Mints-you are so talented! It captures your story perfectly, Afya!

The continuation from the previous chapter is so smooth, Afya..great job!👍🏼 I can totally imagine how Khushi felt after getting all that off her chest'sometimes when one is emotionally and mentally exhausted, the brain does shut down and sleep is perhaps the only relief. I am glad they had this conversation ' now Arnav knows exactly how she feels-it is so important for a couple to communicate ' it clears so many misconceptions, ideas and goes a long way in bridging gaps between couples. I do not know if you have read "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" but real life is a lot like that'men and women understand and interpret the same things very differently'hence actually telling each other clearly how one feels is a must. I am glad your Arnav and Khushi have started talking ' I felt that this was a great step forward for them. Now Arnav not only knows her feelings, but it has started Khushi thinking on why he is so against marriage? She has no clue about his parents' bad marriage, having been a little child herself, and perhaps once she does know the truth, it will give her a better understanding of her husband'.another point being that she know it's not her he objects to, it's the institution of marriage itself that he has no faith in' his wounds, his pain, his tears have aroused her curiosity and her sympathy, maybe? 😊I loved how you moved on to Arnav waking up and first looking for Khushi- his concern for her, wondering if she was alright? Then those little bits about his work getting busier were spot on. 👏 Blended in with the story so well!

I loved how he cannot stop thinking about all that she said ' he is realizing the truth in her words, and he is a good person, Afya. He does not want to hurt them and especially Khushi anymore. His only thought had been to get the best treatment for her father..but he had not really thought about the consequences when their marriage would break up'.I loved all the little things that he had taken care of-making sure their house in Delhi would be similar to their home in Lucknow- the small things that would ease them into their new life here. Isn't that proof, that he is a considerate person? I loved how Arnav is being careful to keep himself away, and not get too involved with the Guptas'at the same time I was feeling disappointed too'when Afya, will the two fall in love? I cannot wait for it to happen'. (patience is just not my virtue, you see!)😃

I loved how the Raizada family is taking so much care of them-taking care of the little things ' Arnav has been influenced by these wonderful women surely ' he has imbibed loving caring qualities from them ' I just want him to start showing these feelings, haq se, to Khushi! (Remember, Patni ho tum meri, haq hai tumhara'mujhpar). All the little scenes, when they are invited for dinner (except Shyam's appearance-he really gives me the jitters😲)-they were fabulous. I liked the Payal, NK and Akash interaction --- hmmm Afya, who are you pairing Payal with? NK or Akash? I loved Anjali here- a loving sister, who knows what her brothers are like'and probably the most important bond that keeps them together' 😃

Hmm'baingan? Why? And is that baingan dish, something you prepared, Afya?😃

Arnav is a bit of a loner, is he not? But I loved how he came up to them and talked to them-loved the eye conversation with Khushi, where he acknowledges her words and his decision to adhere to them

I really liked the description of Khushi's fashion show. In fact that picture of the pink lehenga was really very pretty. I liked the fact that she took Payal with her and Payal's pride at seeing her sister at work is so real, so touching. Smart girl, our Payal 👏' she did notice that horrible man Shyam ' observant of her'it looks like your Payal is not the meek subservient type she was on the show. Good for her! I really hope that whenever whatever scenario you have planned for the future pans out, Payal will be far more forthcoming with what she has seen, than on IPK. Although Khushi still seems a bit nave---she seems to have set aside that one trip he had escorted her on to Lucknow, where she thought he had been ogling her. Sigh'Khushi!😔 But I think you are setting the stage ' are we going to see many such incidents, which hopefully should see Khushi connect the dots, about Shyam's real character? I know you say you are not sure how you are going to use it'.but I, for one, would be happy seeing very little of him...

Haha- Khushi and her love of chaat😆! Even after the fashion show, she has to have her fill of chaat before she goes home. The two sisters spend some time getting the house all organized and Khushi gets her sister acquainted with the new city. I loved the fact that she stayed home that night with her family and she texted Arnav to let him know. And he texts her back-that he is away for 4 weeks! The moment I read 4 weeks, I was like'nooo, how will they manage to stay away for 4 weeks'and what will we do without Arnav and Khushi together for 4 weeks?😳 Coincidentally, Shyam is also away for 2 weeks?

I loved all the little family interactions here- mami, Anjali and Khushi ' mami going off to watch TV, Khushi n Anjali having tea together-I felt like I was actually watching a show-the words were so very descriptive. Anjali is relieved to see Khushi looking happier too. That little conversation with Anjali, opens up Arnav to her a little bit more'a good thing, because I suspect, Arnav is not going to be telling her too much, this early in their relationship-so Khushi will need every little help that she can get, and Anjali is really the best person to help. Now Khushi knows about the fact that Arnav cannot bear to be around for his mother's death anniversary- Anjali opens up Arnav's world to Khushi a little bit more- a poor lost little boy, 😭who perhaps has never gotten over his mother's death. Then they reminisce over the past, when Arnav's mother used to visit Khushi on her birthdays ' visits which Arnav resented, imagining a jealous young Arnav, makes Khushi laugh'😃slowly an image of him is forming in her mind, perhaps more accurate than what she has seen so far? Khushi -a girl whom Arnav probably resented for talking his mother even for that one day, now this mother has given her son his Khushi'.hopefully the day is not far, when he does realize it.

She has the whole bed to herself? And she is happy??? Oh God Khushi!!!! Simple pleasures, I guess! Just you wait, Khushi'.once you fall in love'..😃

Khushi's visit to the treatment centre with her babuji, makes her realize that Arnav really had only Babuji's best interests in mind. And she realizes maybe she had been a bit too hasty in getting angry with him. I loved how Khushi thinks about him and worries about him on the anniversary of his mother's death. Slowly but surely, she is getting closer to him ' she is starting to care'😊

I totally loved the next scenes ' the use of the videos was spot on! Loved how she realized before anyone else did, that he was there-that awareness-their heartbeats 'vintage IPK. Loved it!

"Khushi walked around to the door and there he was...the man himself." ' that line ' I could so imagine it happen- totally unexpected ' what would have been the emotions, thoughts that ran through her mind then? Happiness, pleasure that he was back? Probably not even realizing why it is that she feels happy! The staring session and the rabba ve ' sigh!!! And HP had to interrupt right then!😡 His family too is shocked he is back earlier than usual, only Anjali realizes it is something much more important ' but what is it? Does even Arnav realize why he returned so early?

I loved how you used another favorite IPK scene ' the fairy lights ' here ' you are really doing a great job of building up the physical awareness here- the attraction, the intensity! And that next scene at the poolside- Arnav not wanting to attend the pooja, but is drawn to his wife (Yeah, I know the excuse is to ask after her father's health'but we know a little bit better, don't we? Ahem,ahem!)☺️

That payal scene was classic ' loved how tenderly and carefully he attends to her twisted ankle'loved how he trusts him to do it, unknowingly, they are taking great leaps forward in their relationship ' I loved how he places the payal on her feet ' the softness, the tenderness, the way he tries to pretend it meant nothing, it was no big deal'..her surprise at his gesture'-loved it all👏

I loved how you showed both their thoughts here- Arnav finding her payal and taking it with him, keeping it. Khushi wondering why he had her payal-her confusion totally warranted.

And I do not feel like mentioning the last bit on Shyam ' but has to be done, I guess'I honestly don't want a villain creating misunderstandings in the story, Afya, but something has to be done with Shyam I guess'. I am just hoping he is the catalyst to push Khushi and Arnav together!!! Wonderful, as always, Afya...am glad the update was long! 😃 Looking forward to next week!
