Next 4 days was a normal routine for all. ETF busy with their cases and work. Anwesha busy with her research work.
Anwesha and Sameer are in touch via SMS and quick calls in between.
Navika and Shree taking chances at times for romancing during working hours, but make sure this is not noticed by Sameer and Arjun. Riya and Chhotu are having fun looking at this.
Riya is happy for Anwesha, but is irritated at the fact that Anwesha wants to meet Arjun's friend. For 2 days she tries to convince Anwesha not to think too much, but Anwesha convinces her back that she just want to make sure that she commits to "her boyfriend" whole heartedly and not out of any compulsion.

On Wednesday 17 April, Riya tells Arjun about Anwesha. How her friend proposed to her and he wanted her to meet Arjun's friend. Riya sounds annoyed but Arjun comforts her.
Arjun: Don't worry Riya... jo bhi hoga achchha hi hoga ... Anwesha ke liye bhi aur uske life partner ke liye bhi... trust me... i'll make sure ki sab theek ho...fikar mat karo... mai hoon tumhare saath (Arjun looks at her intensely)
Riya and Arjun lock eyes. Riya is comforted and feels like trusting Arjun. She knew what Arjun said, he meant that. He really cared. They snap out of the eye lock after a few moments and they continue with their respective work.
Arjun is still confused, why is he doing all this... for Sameer or for Riya. He didn't know why he uttered the words "Mai hoon tumhare saath".
Riya again thinks about what Shree said about Arjun helping her for getting Anwesha settled and this time she blushes thinking about Arjun and today she had seen a different intensity in his eyes when he said "Mai hoon tumhare saath".
She remembered a few close moments that she had with Arjun during the basketball practice... few unintentional touches and eyes locks which sent the chill down her spine everytime it happened. She blushed thinking about all this. Chhotu, Shree and Navika noticed this and teased her.

Thursday 18 April Rathod reminds everyone about the pooja and party next day. But since everyone cannot go missing from office, Sameer decides that everyone except himself will be in office during the day and will go to Sameer's home for lunch and join the duty after lunch. After office hours they will join back for the party.
This is all at the condition if no case comes up. If something comes up, Sameer will be back with the team. (But they are lucky, no emergency case comes up that day 😉 )
Before leaving for the day Sameer goes to Riya.
Sameer(a little scared): Riya, tum kal office aa rahi ho... to is it possible ki tum Anwesha ko subah pooja mein aane ko bol do? Unka hospital to mere ghar ke samne hi hai...
Riya: OK sir, mai Di se poochh ke dekhti hoon...
Sameer is happy. He knows Anwesha has already got her leave approved for the day.
Sameer: ok... sure...
In the night Sameer is very anxious as he will be introducing Anwesha to his Mom and Dad. He had planned to keep everything to go in a slow speed. He didn't want to shock his parents. He had already told this to Anwesha. Though Anwesha is yet to say a "yes" to his proposal but he is excited.
Anwesha had told him that she had seen his mom in the boutique and she is very sweet. And She also complimented Anwesha on her Saree that Sameer had gifted to Anwesha.
But what he didn't know was Arjun had already planned something else.

On Suman's birthday 19 April
Arjun's parenst arrive from Kolhapur early in the morning.
Mona comes early in the morning and presses the door bell continuosly in her style annoying Sameer. Anwesha comes at around 8:30 AM Sameer introduces her to his parents and Arjun's parents. Anwesha was wearing a lavender coloured saree. At first Sameer is disappointed but then he guesses that she might be wearing the saree that he gifted in the party in the evening.
Sameer(nervous smile): Hi Anwesha... aao na...
Anwesha: Hi... (nervous smile)
Sameer: Maa, Papa... ye Dr Anwesha Mukherjee hain... wo meri team mein Riya Mukherjee hai na... uski badi behen... wo Riya ko office mein jaana pada... to maine inse kaha ki ye to aa sakti hain...
Anwesha greets everyone with "namastey"
Suman: khush raho beta... agar mai galat nahi hoon to us din maine tumhe hi boutique mein dekha tha...
Anwesha: Ji... (looks at Sameer)
Sameer: Achchha hua tum aa gayi...
Anwesha gives a nervous smile
They have breakfast together.Pandit ji will be coming at 11:00 AM for pooja and so Anwesha offers to help Suman and Savita in pooja preparations and kitchen cooking the lunch. Suman gets into general conversation about Anwesha with her. Anwesha tells her about her project and Riya.
She smiles and looks at Anwesha with affection. She had developed a liking for Anwesha, the way she was helping her, the way she was preparing for pooja. Suman was really impressed. She didn't miss the fact that Anwesha seemed to be well aware of the kitchen set up. Anwesha knew what is kept where exactly. Suman was confused with this.
Suman also noticed Sameer stealing glances at Anwesha and the smiles that they pass to each other and the blush on their faces when they lock eyes.
Panditji come at 11:00 AM and pooja begins. Pooja goes on till 12:00 PM and by that time other ETF members also come for lunch.
Mona gets a call from her office and she has to work from home to solve an issue. She gets busy on her laptop in Sameer's parents' room.
Riya, Navika and Chhotu enter but Arjun is missing. Sameer is worried. He goes out and finds Arjun in front of flat no. 1006.
He goes near Arjun and puts his hand on his shoulder. Arjun turns to face Sameer and they hug each other. Sameer consoles him and brings him inside his house.
Arjun meets his parents. They too get emotional looking at him and guess that he must be standing outside his flat.
Arjun notices Anwesha helping Suman and Savita in kitchen and bonding well with them and smiles. Anwesha looks back at him and sees him smiling so she too smiles back.
After Pooja Sameer introduces his team to his parents and Arjun introduces them to his parents.
Mona comes out of the room and meets Arjun. They hug each other and Arjun kisses her forehead.
Chhotu looks at Mona and sulks in the sofa... Sameer introduces her to everyone as his sister... Chhotu feels a lump in his throat and he gulps it. Yes, Mona is his "11:30 baje ki departmental store wali" Mona looks at Chhotu and Screams
Mona: hey... tum Star gym jatey ho na?
Chhotu is in a shock, he just nods his head in "yes"
Mona: maine dekha hai tumhe wahan aatey huye... I didn't know ki tum Bhai ki team mein ho...
Her cell phone rings so she attends the call and goes inside the room.
Everybody gets busy with their work.
Shree looks at Chhotu and guesses that something is wrong
Shree: aye Chhote... kya hua? tu aise daraa hua kyun hai?
Chhotu takes Shree to a corner
Chhotu: Shree... wo... 11:30 baje mere ghar ke samne wale departmental store mein aati hai yaar...
Shree: kaun?
Chhotu: wo hi... jo abhi abhi yaha thi... Rathod sir ki behen
Shree's eyes are ready to pop out...
Shree(scared, frustrated): kya?... tujhe aur koi nahi mili kya pyar karne ke liye? Rathod sir ki behen? Saale khud bhi marega aur mujhe bhi marwayega...
Chhotu is disappointed. He never thought in his dreams that his crush will turn out to be Rathod's sister.

A few minutes back
Mona comes out of the room and sees that Sameer's team has arrived. She meets Arjun and suddenly notices a familiar face and literally shocked to see who it was... it was the same guy who visited the Star gym near her apartment. She was really impressed by his personality. She had a crush on this guy.
Mona(thinking): Ohh my God... ye Bhai ki team mein hai... i dont believe this... aaj pooja mein aane ka achchha fal mila hai... aaj to isse baat karne ka chance milega...
Sameer introduces her to his team. She registers his name in her mind "Chandrakant Patil (Chhotu)". She is amused to know everybody calls him Chhotu
Mona(screams): hey... tum Star gym jatey ho na?
Chhotu is in a shock, he just nods his head in "yes"
Mona: maine dekha hai tumhe wahan aatey huye... I didn't know ki tum Bhai ki team mein ho...
Her cell phone rings so she attends the call.
Mona comes in the room, takes the call, it was a wrong number. She curses the person.
Mona(thinking): damn it ... ye wrong number ko bhi abhi aana tha... achchha khasa baat kar rahi thi usse...
She again goes out and seees him talking to Shree in a corner. She notices Shree is frustrated and Chhotu is scared about something.
She sees Suman, Savita and Arjun going to Suman's room. She follows them.

Around same time.
Arjun tells Suman and Savita that he needs to talk to them.
They go in Suman's room. Mona also chips in.
Suman: haan beta bolo...
Arjun: Maa... mai ghuma fira ke baat nahi karunga... seedha point par aata hoon... aapka mission khatam... Sam ne apke liye bahu dhundh li hai...
Suman and Savita raise their eye brows, quickly glance at each other and look back at Arjun.
Mona: maine to usi din kaha tha Maa... ki Bhai ki girlfriend hai,,,
Suman: Kya? tu sach keh raha hai?
Arjun: Haan Maa... bilkul sach... aur jaha tak mera andaza hai... aapko bhi apni hone wali bahu pasand aa hi gayi hai...
Suman: tu kiski baat kar raha hai? saaf saaf bata na ...
Arjun: Anwesha...
Suman(surprised and smiles): kya... wo... Riya ki badi behen?
Arjn: Haan... wohi...
Suman(smiles): achchhi ladki hai... sachmuch ... bilkul waisi, jaisi dulhan mai Sameer k liye chahti thi... par tujhe kaise pata chala? Sameer ne bataya tujhe?
Arjun: Nahi... wo kaha mujhe batayega... bas mujhe pata chal gaya... wo mai Saturday ko ussey milne yaha aaya tha... to dekha ki super market se bahut saara saaman lekar... Sameer aur Anwesha gadi se utar rahey they... shayad ghar ke saaman ki shopping karke aaye they...
Suman: ghar ke saaman ki shopping, Anwesha ke saath? ek min ruk... (she gets the saree)... Arjun... kya Sameer ne ye saree tujhe dikhayi? kya usne tujhe bataya ki ye kisne pasand ki?
Arjun remembers the saree.
Arjun: Maa, ye saree Anwesha ne hi pasand ki hai... aur ghar ke saaman ki shopping aur ye sab ghar ki sajaavat usine ki hai... warna aapko kya lagta hai... aapka Laadla ye sab kar sakta hai?
Savita: Haan Suman Didi, ye baat to maine bhi notice ki, kitchen mein kaunsi cheez kahan rakhi hai... sab Anwesha ko pehle se pata hai...
Suman: Haan Savita, maine bhi dekha, par tab samajh mein nahi aaya ki usey kaise pata ye sab...
Arjun: usine to sab rakha hoga apne haathon se... tabhi to usey pata hai...
Suman: To Sameer ne ye baat humse chhupayi kyun?
Arjun: kyunki usey abhi tak Anwesha ka jawab nahi mila hai... usne Anwesha ko propose kiya hai... Anwesha ne na abhi tak na to "Haan" kaha hai aur na hi "Na"...par wo usey "Na" nahi kahegi... aur wo aaj hi usey Shadi ke liye "Haan" bhi keh degi... ye mai poore yakeen se keh sakta hoon.
Mona: Arjun Bhaiya... aap ye kaise keh saktey ho?
Arjun: Wo bahut lambbi kahani hai... wo fir kabhi sunaunga... bas mujhe ek baar Anwesha se baat karni hai... fir sab theek ho jayega...
All of them are happy. Arjun goes outside.
But Suman has a different plan. Suman had really liked Anwesha but she was actually disappointed that Sameer kept this hidden from her. She plans to get this confessed from Sameer and Anwesha. She tells her plan to Mona and Savita and they agree to it.

Suman calls evreyone for lunch. She takes a chance to make Sameer and Anwesha sit together, which in turn causes Riya to sit with Arjun. And since Navika and Shree are sitting next to each other, Chhotu has too sit next to Mona. Mona is very happy.
After lunch, team has to go back. Mona is disappointed to see Chhotu leaving. By now she has become friends with Riya, Navika and Shree. She also tried to be friendly with Chhotu, but he was still shy to talk to her.
Arond 1:30 PM
Arjun also has to finish one task before he leaves. He goes to Anwesha and calls her to the balcony where he can talk to her in private. Anwesha goes with him. Sameer watches them. He gets an urge to overhear what they are talking about but he thinks it would be unfair on his part to do so and also he will end up hurting himself. So he decides not to look at them. He gets busy calling the guests for the party reminder to distract himself.

In the balcony
Arjun: Hi Anwesha
Anwesha: Hi Mr Arjun...
Arjun: Riya ne mujhe bataya... ki aap mere dost se milna chahti hain...
Anwesha: Ji...
Arjun: usne mujhe ye bhi bataya... ki aap apne ek dost ko pasand karti hain... aur wo bhi aapko pasand karta hai... aur usne aapko propose bhi kiya hai...
Anwesha: Ji... ye sab sahi hai... haan... agar ye sab jaankar... aapka dost mujhse nahi milna chahta to... uspar koi dabaav nahi hai...
Arjun (smiles): nahi... aisi koi baat nahi hai... in fact maine abhi tak us dost se baat hi nahi ki hai... par aaj soch raha hoon ki aapko usse directly milwa hi deta hoon...
Anwesha is confused.
Arjun: waise mai aapko bata doon...wo mera college time ka dost hai... wo bhi ek police officer hai... hum pehle roommates they...(faking as if he forgot something) ohh... mai to bhool hi gaya... aap to pehle hi usse mil chuki hai
Anwesha: kya?
Arjun: haan... usine to aapko us din airport se ghar drop kiya tha... fir wo aapko apni maa ke liye saree pasand karwane bhi le gaya... aur agar mai galat nahi hoon to beech mein kuch problem huyi thi aur fir aapne hi ye ghar sajaane mein uski help ki...
Anwesha realizes that Arjun is talking about Sameer. She blushes profusely.
Arjun: ab mai kiske barey mein baat kar raha hoon... ye aap samjhi ya samjhaun?
Anwesha is quiet and looking down to avoid eye contact with Arjun.
Anwesha(blushing and hesitating): aapko ye sab kaise pata?
Arjun(smiles): pehle sirf shaq tha...wo...apke birthday wale din... aap dono saath mein khush lag rahey they... Aur parso jab Sameer ko aapke saath... parking lot mein Saaman lekar aatey huye dekha... to mera shaq, yakeen mein badal gaya...
Anwesha is embarrassed.
Arjun(extends his hand): Friends?
Anwesha smiles and holds his hand.
Arjun: to usne aapko propose bhi kar diya...
Anwesha nods her head in yes and still looking down. But she felt an assurance of trust with him.
Arjun: Tumse bahut pyaar karta hai wo... aur wo pyar maine dekha hai... uski aankhon mein... baaton mein... jazbaaton mein... tumse alag hone ka khayal bhi usko bahut bechain kar deta hai... usey bahut takleef hoti hai... wo tumhe duniya ki har burayi, har dard, har takleef se bacha kar rakhna chahta hai... aur wo tumse kuch bhi expect nahi karta...
Anwesha remembers how Sam reacted when she told him that Arjun is looking for a match for her and later, Arjun when wanted her to cancel her plan.
Arjun(serious): par mai tumse kuch expect karta hoon Anwesha ... wo bahut achchha hai... usne pehli baar zindagi mein kisi se pyar kiya hai...aur mai nahi chahta ki uska dil tootey... par mai tumhe pressurize bhi nahi karunga... kyunki kisi pressure mein aakar tum ussey shadi karogi to usey aur zyada takleef hogi... mai usey aur tumhe... dono ko khush dekhna chahta hoon...to ab...faisla tumhe karna hai... par ek baat zarur kahunga...kahin na kahin mujhe yakeen hai... ki tum dono ek-dusre k liye hi baney ho... aur tumhari aankhon mein bhi mai wohi pyar dekh sakta hoon... jo uski aankhon mein hai... tum bhi ussey pyaar karti ho na?
Anwesha blushes and nods in yes.
Arjun(teasing her): to Haan keh do... zyada intezar mat karwao mere dost ko... (smiles)
Anwesha looks at him. She sees the honesty in Arjun's eyes.
Arjun leaves for the office. Before leaving he gives a Thumbs up to Suman.
He also goes to Savita. He takes out a bunch of keys from his pocket and gives it to Savita.

She is still in the balcony thinking about what Arjun just said. Yes, she had prepared her mind.
Sameer comes to the balcony after he saw Arjun leaving. He is anxious to know what did they talk before he could tell anything to his mom.
Sameer: Anwesha... tumhari baat huyi Arjun se? kya kaha usne? kab milwa raha hai wo apne dost se?
Anwesha is in playful mood now.
Anwesha: uski koi zarurat nahi hai... actually unhone mujhe apne dost ki photo dikhayi ... tab mujhe realize hua ki mai to unhe pehle se janti hoon... wo bahut achchhe insaan hain.. mai bhi unhe pasand karti hoon... aur... Arjun ji ko pata hai ki wo mujhe zarur pasand karenge...is liye maine socha hai ki mai unhhi se shadi karungi ...
Sameer is heart broken. But he tries to bring smile on his face.
Sameer: tum dil se usey pasand karti ho na...
Anwesha nods in "yes"
Sameer: I'm really happy for u Anwesha... congratulations...
He has tears well up in his eyes. He turns back to go inside to hide his tears.
Anwesha stops him
Anwesha: Sameer... aap poochhenge nahi ki wo kaun hain? kya naam hai unka? kya kartey hain? aapko fikar nahi hai meri?
Sameer (pressing his nose bridge to wipe the tears,turning back): ismein poochhne wali kya baat hai? maine tumhe kal hi kaha tha ki Arjun agar keh raha hai ki uska dost achchha insaan hai... to wo zarur hoga... aur agar tum bhi usey pasand karti ho to ... isse achchhi baat aur kya ho sakti hai... waise ye mat socho ki mujhe tumhari fikar nahi hai... poora background check karwaunga us ladke ka Arjun se baat karke... (chuckles)
Anwesha (smiles): achchha? background check karwayenge?
Sameer: tumhari poori zindagi ka sawaal hai...
Anwesha: waise mai aapko bata doon ki unka background check karwane ki koi zarurat nahi hai...
Sameer: Kyun?
Anwesha(mischieviously): wo isliye, kyunki aap bhi unhe jaantey hain...wo Mr Arjun ke college time ke friend hain... Wo bhi ek police officer hain... dono roommates they... aur ab dono saath mein ek hi team mein hain... aur unke wo dost unki ETF team ke chief bhi hain... ACP Sameer Rathod naam hai unka...Ab aap hi bataiye... ETF Chief ka background check karwane ki zarurat hai kya? ...Aur ab wo itne achchhe hain, to ab mai unhe "na" to nahi keh sakti na?
