It says a lot about the mental anguish and trauma Khushi suffered at Arnav's and Shyam's hands for her not to remember anything about her past or her very identity, despite the shocks she received one after the other! Just loved how you interspersed Khushi's present lack of recognition and trust with Arnav's cutting words, a reminder of just how much he had wronged her and destroyed her very soul! But it didn't stop her gaze from following him, eyes feeding on his tall, lean framework as if she still couldn't quite believe that he was real… the latent desire is still as strong as ever, or so it seems! You've got a real knack for depicting the emotional turmoil of your protagonists, leaving us with no option but to empathise with someone like Arnav who over and over again wronged an innocent! He needed another chance to live, just one shot at life… such poignant words of desperation and despair! Also love the fact that, despite her amnesia and the shock to her system, Khushi is alert and sensible and asking very pertinent questions… This feeling of not knowing him, not understanding him, was not new… such a confusing and frightening realisation to have! An emotionally draining update but well worth the read! I know it's his worry for her safety and his own fear of losing her that's making him force his decisions on her… but bulldozing her into doing what he wants is a repeat of his earlier mistakes… 'But just because he is Arnav Singh Raizada doesn't absolve him from having to explain why all this happened. Why were you alone on the highway. Was there someone else. Where were you going?' Now that is a true friend! 'If I am ever to discover why I've ended up like this,' she said quietly, 'then I have to go with him.' Earlier Khushi had stated that she was a coward, but this is true courage!
