Smita, thank you for giving this movie outing your own unique and sensible treatment, making it so vastly different from the OTT scenes we were subjected to in the show! 👏

Khushi's exuberance juxtaposed against Arnav's disinterest is adorable, because we all know he's just there to make her happy… I can imagine the horrified look on his face on being subjected to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, even if it is in Khushi's company. [Agree with his sentiments because, frankly, I don't get what the whole obsession with this film, and with SRK, is! Except for the respect with which he treated the womenfolk, didn't like his character much!] Arnav's complete focus on Khushi is just awww … the emotions flitting across her face are far more entertaining than the film he's supposed to be watching! His whole family joining her in her crazy enjoyment of life is another touching moment… that's the connection between the family and Khushi: whereas Arnav fetters his thoughts and emotions, his family and Khushi have a childlike honesty in their open display of emotions, however nutty it might seem to the world at large! This is something Arnav is learning to appreciate. The image of males reluctantly accompanying their womenfolk to shop or to watch rom-coms is damn funny, but the underlying truth is that, in most cases, they do so to bring a smile on their loved ones' faces… one can't fault them for that!

Suddenly, he felt Khushi fingers grip his thigh in excitement. Arnav jerked in shock and turned his head to look at her… That must have been sheer torture! He had managed to salvage his thigh, his virtue, and his much vaunted self-control from her advances. The thought of Khushi's playful fingers making innocent advances 😉, leaving Arnav almost at the end of his tether makes this one of the best scenes ever! Poor Arnav fearing for his virtue and having to keep his barely leashed desire in check is just 🤣 especially because Khushi is completely unaware of the effect her 'exploring' fingers have on Arnav! He manages to get his own back, though… his seductive moves in that dimly-lit hall and Khushi's breathless reaction is what makes this part so sensuous… 😳 it says a lot about his talented fingers and mouth that he made her forget a movie she's so crazy about!

"Arnavji, this is a dhamakedaar movie. Once you see this, you will want to see a movie every day!" That would be the day, Arnav thought, smiling inwardly… "Very… very interesting. Akash, I think we need to do this more frequently." So, turns out that Khushi was right… Arnav can't wait to get her to a theater again, given how much he has enjoyed the 'movie' 😛!
