Afternoon 1 pm, Shantivan.
Arnav and NK reached home and ran upto their room.
Arnav and NK both opened their respective laptops and opened the facebook sign in page.
Arnav logged in through NK's ID and NK logged in through Arnav's ID. Unfortunately neither Khushi nor Lavanya were online.
Afternoon 2 pm, Gupta Mansion.
"Lav! I'm going to my room!", said Khushi as she finished eating her lunch.
"Ya.. You go! I'm watching TV for a while!", replied Lavanya.
Khushi entered her room and shut the door. She logged into facebook to check for her notifications.
In Arnav's Room.
"NK! Khushi has come online!", squealed Arnav in excitement.
"Chat with her yaar! Tell her that you need help with studies and all..", replied NK still waiting for Lavanya to come online.
"Are you sure?", confirmed Arnav.
"Yeah!", replied NK.
Arnav quickly opened the chat window and started typing..
In Khushi's Room.
Khushi was checking through her notifications when suddenly, a chat window popped up on her laptop screen. She sighed.
NK: Hey Khushi!
"NK never chats on FB with me! Why so suddenly all this?", she thought to herself.
Khushi: Hey! What happened? You could have called NK!
NK: Uhh.. Khushi! Actually.. I needed help!
Khushi: Say!
NK: It's not me.. It's Arnav.. He needs help in studies.. Could he join us?
Khushi seemed confused, but then she typed over..
Khushi: Okay! And yeah.. Don't forget to get the book tomorrow!
NK: K.. Bye! :)
Khushi logged off her facebook and opened her textbook to read thinking about her conversation with Arnav in the cafeteria.
She smirked as she remembered his words, "Actually I hesitated to sit here remembering the way you punched that guy last year. So I just smiled'"
"I'm not that rude that I will slap every guy that comes my way.. NK is my bestie.. He is a guy..", she thought to herself.
She drifted to her meeting with Arnav at the library earlier this morning.
Flashback.
"I am sorry", both said in unison.
"Its okay!" again both said together. They looked at each other for a moment with a slight smile & then looked away. Arnav helped her to collect her books.
"Thanks..", she said stopping not knowing what else to say.
"Arnav", he introduced himself.
"Thanks Arnav" she replied & went to counter to issue her books leaving a smiling Arnav behind her.
Flashback ends.
She giggled. He was NK's friend she knew.. But never knew his name till this morning!
"Khushi! Get back to studies!", she scolded herself and got back to reading her book.
Lavanya walked into the room and opened her laptop and logged into facebook to check her notifications.
In Arnav's Room.
"Arnavvv!!! Lavanya is online!!!!!", shrieked NK in overexcitement.
"Chill! Chat with her normally! No books.. No studies!", said Arnav.
"Okay!", said NK and opened the chat box and started typing.
Arnav: Hey Lavanya! Wassup?
Lavanya: Nothing much Arnav! Just chilling around.. Was just thinking to chat with you! I needed to ask you something!
NK started hyperventilating and turned to Arnav and said, "Lavanya wants to ask you something!"
"Go on... Ask her what?", said Arnav. NK continued typing.
Arnav: Sure! Ask!
Lavanya: About your friend NK!
NK's eyes popped out. "About me!", whispered NK as Arnav came and sat next to him.
"Chill NK! You were telling me not to get nervous and here you are getting nervous yourself!", said Arnav.
"Dude! Talking to Khushi is easy.. Just go on about studies and all but here Lavanya wants to talk about ME!!!", shrieked NK.
"NK.. Don't over react and chat calmly!", said Arnav. NK sighed and typed.
Arnav: What about NK?
Lavanya: Umm.. Actually I like him and was wondering if you could formally introduce me to him! :/
NK's eyes popped out at her reply.
"She likes ME?? SHE LIKES MEEE???? OH MY GODD!!!! ARNAV!!!! SHE LIKES ME!!!!!", squealed NK.
"Get back to earth mister.. Your love story is gonna be hell simpler than mine now! Abhi to Khushi se baat karna shuru karna hai.. She didn't even know my name until this morning!", complained Arnav.
"No worries yaar.. We start tomorrow!", said NK with a wink.
Arnav smiled as NK continued typing...
Arnav: Is that so? No problems.. I will introduce him to you tomorrow! I need to be studying with him and Khushi tomorrow! Exams nearing!
Lavanya: Thanks a ton!!!! :D
Arnav: Anytime! :) Chal.. I gotta go.. NK is here! :P
Lavanya: Bye Arnav! *Blush*
Arnav: NK ke naam pe blush.. Let's see you tomorrow! :P Bye!
Lavanya: Yeah.. Let's see! :)
NK quickly logged off Arnav's account and shrieked, "Wooohooo!!!!!"
He jumped on Arnav and hugged him. "I'm so happy yaar!", squealed NK.
"I'm happy for you too!!!", replied Arnav with equal excitement.
"I can't wait for tomorrow!", said NK.
"Relax.. And behave human in front of her tomorrow! She should not know that it was you who were chatting with her through my profile!", informed Arnav.
"Yeah yeah!", came his reply.
NK continued, "I need to get that book Khushi asked for now.. Or else I will be dead meat!"
Arnav laughed and said, "Let's go together!"
NK nodded and they both drove to the nearest bookstore.
In Khushi's Room.
"Lavanya.. I'm going to the bookstore.. Need to buy another book! I have already told NK to get one of them.. I have to go and get the other!", said Khushi as she quickly slipped on her sling bag and picked her phone.
"Okay! I'm going to sleep for a while!", said Lavanya.
"Are you okay? Your cheeks are red!", said Khushi.
"I'm fine! You carry on!", said Lavanya as she buried herself under her duvet.
Khushi walked to the bookstore and went to the Fashion Arts Section.
She was looking through books, she picked out one which slipped through her hands and fell on the floor.
She quickly bent down to pick the book and got up to see a smiling face.
"Hey!", he said.
"Hi Arnav! How come you're here?", she asked.
"NK needed to buy some book you had told him to!", he replied.
"Oh! that.. Lazy he is.. I have been pestering him for a week now!", she said and let out a giggle. Arnav smiled.
"I'll be studying with you guys tomorrow onwards!", he informed.
"I know! NK told me!", she replied.
"Hey Khushi!!!", squealed NK.
"Hey! Got the book finally?", she asked with a smirk.
"Yeah!", he said looking down.
"Lazy guy!", she said as Arnav smirked.
" I need to rush now.. I got the book I wanted.. I'll see you both tomorrow! Bye!", she said.
"Okay! Bye!", said Arnav as NK just waved.
Khushi quickly went over to the billing counter and then walked out of the bookstore.
