Beautiful premise, Jenny! The feel of colonial Bengal, the aristocracy, the little Khushi with her doll.. stunning! I was truly enchanted.

Interesting characterization too.

By TS do you mean Two shot or Three shot ? 😳

Great start Jenny! Looking forward to more :)

Really beautifully written Jenny…no words can define the beauty of your writing…The way you have captured the lifestyle of the Zamindars in the pre-independence India in year 1920….Arnab Basu seems to an intelligent and patriotic youth….and I love my doll Khushi….are you sure the age gap is 13 years….it is a huge gap dear!!!

You Rock dear!!!!!

Loved the first chapter….Just brilliant….👏

This seemed like I was reding a chapter from 'Sharadchandra' book and that's a biggest compliment I can pay.

It was beautifully written and as you know you have a great flair to write stories with historical backdrop and this is no exception.

Poor Arnav getting embarrassed to hear his grandmother talking about his real marriage and him being a father and about the girl taking too long to grow up.

Khushi has arrived barely a child and with a doll
In her hand and Arnav feels for her as he is seems like a man of principles and with a soft heart with lot of empathy for people around him even the servants who were not treated very well in those days.

Please continue soon. Will wait eagerly for the next chapter.

congrats for this fantastic creation dear...

is this a beginning of another wonderful arnav-khushi FF...and the answer is yes...loved it...u hav worked well over the Bengali culture...and i see..arnav's first wife died and he married her little sister...looks like dadi is despro to see her great-grandchild...but she is understanding in a way...

will be waiting for more dear...

keep rocking...
