Heyo! Wow.

This is something, alright. There are three things about this FF I feel an instant connection to. First, is that it's got a historical setting...and I'm quite obsessed with it. Seriously, that is what made me pursue history in college. And I love reading about pre- independence era. Honestly I always wanted to write something set in this era,..but was scared of not getting the facts right. I'm so glad that I'm getting to read something like. I could like...hug you right now.

Anyways, coming to the second point of my connection to this... I'm Bengali, yo! And there's a lovely Calcutta setting, and then there's Arnav Basu Raizada. Hell... now I want to hug you once more!

And then the third... is your writing, woman! I just love the way you narrate...it makes me feel I'm almost there, living the moment with them.

So thank you so much for this story, Jenny. It's all things I've wanted to read about packed into one. And not to mention...it's got my favourite characters. Man, I gotta love this already.

Age gap is a bit huge for my liking... but for that time period, I guess it makes sense.

Loving this tale... waiting for more to come <3
