Arshi FF:Arshi's Life - Ch 66 & 67 on Page 149 - Page 13

They were just sitting in the car for abot an hour as they thought the rain will slow down and they will drive home. But it has become even worse. Arnav has been watching her as she's so scared of thunders and lightning. Also it has become too dark outside. He saw the time and it showed 7.30pm.

Khushi tried not to look him as she's really scared of his recent flirting actions. She couldn't get how come after blaming her for some cheap trapping thing he can suddenly behave like this towards her. Also she couldn't even believe that she's holding a parcel which he has paid for her. She felt strange.

Arnav is just enjoying her expressions as he's sure that his recent actions started to work on her little brain. He smirked. "Chalo Maiya Ke Bhavan Bhavan" her cell rang with Lavanya's call breaking their thoughts. She took her cell watching Arnav who's staring her angrily as that tone remained him of that market incident. She didnt mind and turned her look as she took that call.

"Hello... Lavanya... Yeah... am safe... will reach home soon... he... (she looks at him) yeah... he's fine... (She said angrily which Arnav didnt miss)... what... hello... Lavanya... Lavanya..." she saw her cell slept due to its battery. She furiously held her cell.

"Here" he extended his mobile towards her. "No need" she turned towards the window as she's so angry with him since its because of him she couldn't charge her cell. "Okay" he kept his mobile. She thought how he came in the morning to pick her and how she could'nt charged her cell. Arnav is just watching her as she's restless in her thoughts. He's sure that anytime it will explode.

Within seconds "It's all your fault" she started angrily. "What the" he retorted back.

"Yes... It's because of you... that am here" she said furiously. "Me... if weather is not good then what can i do for it" he answered calmly. "You..." saying this she raised her hands along with her cell to strangle him as she's so furious that she couldn't go home. "What.. are you going to kill me" he looked her hands.

But a heavy lightning followed by an instant thunder made her to grap his elbow instead. She closed her eyes resting her head on his shoulder in fear. He just smiled at her behaviour. He then picked her cell which she had dropped due to that thunder. He then touched her shoulder. With his touch she relieved him and looked out as she couldn't meet his eyes due to her sudden grab.

He simply thrusted her cell in her hand and she held it without looking him. Her heart has already started to race in its way. He then turned the radio on and felt angry on himself for not switching it on till then. He realised that he had forgot everything as he's busy in watching her.

They heard from the radio news that they have requested the public to stay out of the road due to the very poor weather. Also they confirmed the rain for the next 10 or 12 hours. Hearing this Khushi's eyes filled with tears. "I want to go home" she said. "What..." he looked her who's complaining like a little girl. He looked out and with very difficulty found a hotel.

He then struggled and took an umbrella from the back seat. Khushi just stared him as she couldn't get what he's doing till she saw an umbrella in his hand. "What are you doing" she asked as he opened his door and got down with the umbrella holding his bag too. He came to her side and opened the door. "Where are we going" she asked without getting down.

"Just shut up and get down with your things" he yelled as rain is pouring heavily. Instantly she got down and he's holding his umbrella for her too. "Hold this" he thrusted his bag in her hand. She looked confusingly as she couldn't get why he handed his bag to her who is already holding her parcel and having her handbag on her shoulder.

Next second "Move" saying this he held her waist. "What are you doing" she felt uneasy. "What... are you ready to change into that dress" he signalled showing her parcel. She looked him. "If you didnt move with me... then you will be drenched in rain" he clarified her.

Without saying anything she moved with him and also she got why he handed his bag to her as he has to hold her. To her fear, a lightning flashed in front of them. She held his waist and buried her face in his coat due to fear holding the bag and the parcel in her other hand. He stood still with her touch.

She realised and looked up his face. Their eyes met and stood for some seconds. Then Khushi moved her eyes and tried to take her hand from his waist. "It's okay" saying this he made her to move with him in that position. They slowly reached that hotel. Khushi tried to free from his hold but he didnt let her go. She struggled and then he let her go.

He kept that umbrella in the corner of the reception hall and took his bag from her. She looked him without saying anything. He went and talked with the person in the reception. She saw the clock and it ticked 8.30pm. She also watched that Arnav took his wallet and paid some cash. He took the key and came towards her.
