Chapter 2:

Kriya didn't know when she dozed off. It was around 5 pm in the evening, she woke up. Her head felt heavy and eyes were swollen and puffed. Her tears had dried up. It was still paining her. She scanned the room and found rey sitting on a nearby chair with a sheet wrapped around his waist; intently staring at her. Even she was covered with a comforter.



He walked over to her and sat beside her on the bed. She distanced herself a little as sge was scared and unsure of his next move. He picked up the plate of food from the adjacent table and handed it over to her. But she refused to eat anything.



"Have some food...you'll feel better"



"No thanks, I don't need your concern"



"Can't you just listen to some one in the first place" he replied irritated. Saying this he picked up the spoon full of rice and waited for her to open her mouth. But, she didn't.



This angered rey and in a furry he threw the plate on the floor. Fear was clearly evident in her eyes. Rey handed her all her garments and her dress.



With quivering hands she took them. She tied the comforter above her curves and began to set her foot down only to be stopped by rey.



"Get dressed here" he ordered.



"What??"



"Yea, get dressed in front me. And it shouldn't bother you because I've had a great feast of your body a few hours ago"



Wiping her tears, she started putting her clothes back, trying to hids herself from his gaze with the help of the sheets. After she was done, rey took his set of clothes and left for the washroom.



When he came out of the washroom, he saw kriya lying on the bed, with her head on the bed post and her on hand on her stomach. He cleared his throat to gain her attention.



"Lets go" he said.



Without objecting, she agreed and got. She didn't oppose him because right now she was so afraid of him. He covered her with his coat to hide those love cum painful bites he had given to her. Kriya was pale and was unable to walk and hence she took tiny steps following him.

They were standing outside the Ghai mansion waiting for the door to get opened. As soon as the door opened, smtiti was shocked on seeing her daughter in such a weak condition. She was even more shocked on seeing rey with her and was sure that he was responsible for it.



"Kriya, what happened baby??" As soon as these words slipped out smriti's mouth, kriya hugged her and cried her heart out.



"Kriya, please tell me what's wrong? Why are you crying? Moreover what is rey doing with you??" Smriti asked with utmost concern, patting her hairs to soothe her daughter. By now even Rajiv had reached there.



"Mom...mom...he...he raped me" was all kriya could say.



Rajiv and smriti were SHOCKED. They didn't know how to react. Kriya then told them about the message that she received last night and how she lied to her mom.



"How dare you do this to my daughter" rajiv asked



"Oh please Mr.Ghai, stop faking concern for your step daughter. You and I both of us know that you don't love her" rey replied back.



"Shut up rey...just shut up...don't you dare you question my dad's concern for me" kriya interfered.



"Concern! Where was this concern three years back??" He questioned her.



"Shut up...I'm not going to leave you" saying this rajiv took out his mobile.



"Calling the cops??" Then don't because your one call can put your sweet daughter's reputation at stake"



"What do you mean?" Smriti asked angrily



"Oh! Well nothing much...by the time cops reach here these photos will reach all the media channels and newspapers and then you what will happen..." Saying this he showed them a few pics he had taken of kriya while they were in the hotel room.



Kriya wondered when did he click these pictures. As if he read her mind he spoke "hidden cameras hun!"



This was it. Kriya could bear more than this. This guys had crossed his limits. Kriya went towards him and slapped him hard and spoke "how could you stoop so low rey?? How could you?? I hate you...I freaking hate you so much Mr.Reyansh Singhaniya..I hate myself because I fell in love with a creep and despotic guy". Saying this kriya slided down on the floor weeping over her fate.



"I'll call sameer here, I'm sure he'll accept you even now" rajiv spoke nervously. Both smriti and kriya nodded in agreement.



In no time Sameer reached there. As soon as he got to know about the incident that occurred with kriya some time ago, his immediate reply was "no ways...how did you think that I'll marry kriya even now...I can't marry a used woman..I mean what if kriya gets pregnant with rey's child?? I don't want any illegitimate child around my neck...marrying kriya now would lead to my family's insult".



Now this was a huge blow for kriya. She hadn't expected this. She couldn't think even in her wildest dream that sameer could turn out to be like this. She had full faith in sameer that he would accept her, but all her belief was shattered. Right now she found both sameer and rey alike; of same type.



"I'm sorry kriya" saying this sameer left the place.



"Well...you've only one option left and that is to marry me" rey spoke.



The three of them; kriya, smriti and rajiv, gave rey a disgusted look. How could this guy even think that kriya would marry him. Wiping her tears, kriya spoke "it'll be better if I commit suicide rather than marrying you". Hatred was purely evident in her tone.



"Nope sweetheart, I would never let you die" he spoke. His tone didn't contain any slyness but instead it was as if he really meant those words. "Plus" he continued further.. "if you don't agree to marry me, then I'd have to send this photographs to all the media channels...want me to do it??"



"No...don't do that...kriya will marry you" rajiv spoke immediately. He could not afford to lose his reputation at any cost. Both smriti and kriya looked at him in disbelief.



"Dad...how??" Before kriya could continue further her step das interferred "look kriya, you will have to marry him" rajiv told rather ordered.



Both smriti and Kriya tried to object but Rajiv was adamant on his decision. Kriya wondered what was wrong with her father? With a heavy heart kriya had to marry rey.
