Khushi followed Arnav inside the house after closing the door behind. As soon as Arnav reached inside Payal jumped upto him and said excitedly " goshhh... jiju you are looking damn handsome..." and she hugged Arnav from side letting out a tounge at Khushi showing her that she is the one to hug jiju. Khushi in response also let out her tounge at payal saying she don't care. Arnav noticed the tounge exchange between the sisters and was amused between the telepathy between them. It was obvious that Arnav didn't understand the actual reason between this exchange but one thing was clear it was related to him. Once he finished hugging Payal he went to greet the other gupta's . He went forward and took blessings from garima and shashi . Shashi offered him a seat. He sat on the sofa and relaxed himself but soon he realised that Khushi was still standing and was searching for a seat for herself. Arnav saw the place beside him empty and he knew Khushi was hesitant to sit beside him. So he took the intiative and said "Khushi... why are you standing? Come sit!" he said pointing to vacant seat beside him.

"yes yes bhabhi... go...go and sit beside bhai... he seems so eager.." said Akash aloud.

"arey wah jiju!! Giving hug to me and seat to her? That's not fair!!" said Payal joining Akash in the teasing project.

" No no payal... you don't understand... my chotte wants to keep both gharwali and aadhi gharwali happy...!!! you know it will be a profitable deal for future." Said anjali giving a high five to payal and winking at Arnav. Both the family laughed at the beautiful teasing of the children.

Khushi was just listening to the happening around her and was blushing like an idiot. God! These people will convert her into a tomato. She just could not understand what to do. She thought to go and sit beside Arnav as he wanted or moreover as SHE wanted but then the increase in the intensity of the teasing of the family kept her rooted at the same spot with a little smile and a down gaze.

Arnav knew this would follow. His crazy family will definitely tease them to death for his gentleman stand of offering a lady a seat but was this just a offering a lady a seat or was it offering Khushi a seat BESIDE him. He brushed away his thoughts when he saw khushi still standing and blushing. 'God his favourite colour.' He thought but then owing the teasing process of his family he said " what is it di? I was just asking Khushi to sit and as there is no other seat left therefore i offered her to sit beside me. Thats it!"

"it's perfectly okay beta if you want Khushi to sit beside you... i also make garima sit beside me you know..." added the ever romantic shashi making everyone silent for a while.

'Bauji.. i will see you tonight... these people were not enough that you also joined..' thought Khushi glaring her bauji.

"what?? Why are you glaring at me Khushi?" asked shashi sheepishly. "Did I said something wrong Arnav??" he asked naughtily to Arnav.

"No.. I mean ... Yes ...I mean..." god A.S.R. who is fluent in 8 languages stammered in front of his father in law.

Everyone burst into fits of laughter after that and Khushi in a jiffy second just went inside the kitchen with an excuse to bring some refreshment leaving an embarrassed Arnav.

Arnav was still thinking about how shashi compared Khushi's and his realtion with the one that garima and shashi shared. A realtion of husband and wife. A pure relation . A lifetime relation . A trustworthy relation. It was all new for Arnav... all new.

It was about one hour later of the family chatting that shashi asked them about dinner.

"so we should now have our dinner... and then carry on?" asked shashi.

"yes yes...why not... dinner will provide us with more energy to chat." Said dadi and with that all the elders moved to the dining area.

"Ma... i will have food from mami's hand..please.." said ria who has already grown very fond of khushi.

"of course dear... Khushi you don't have any problem na?" asked anjali.

"no no di... i will love to share my dinner with my princess... me and my princess will have dinner then we will have chocolates..." said Khushi tickling ria in the process.

"but Ria don't trouble your mami .. okay???" said shyam.

"yess.. papa!!" promised Ria in her very cute style.

Anjali and shyam left Ria with Khushi and joined the elders.

" I love you mami... yeepie..." said Ria happy as a air tight balloon.

"princess?? you don't love me??" asked Arnav imitating a sad face.

"mamu... Hmm ... I lub you.. but... i love mami more." Said Ria innocently.

"you bad girl.." said Arnav taking ria from Khushi's arms into his... In the process unknowingly brushing Khushi's hand. God it felt nice.

Khushi felt arnav's hand brushing her. She at once looked at Arnav. Her eyes met his and they froze. Something was right in this. Something that was only for them. She didn't back out her hand because she didn't felt wrong in it and they stood there with half ria in arnav's arm and other half in Khushi's.

"mami... mamu.. I am hanging in air..wow" said a chuckling Ria .

Arnav and Khushi both were amazed at how they forgot Ria and stood there staring at each other second time that day. They both heard Ria and started laughing. Both of them didn't knew on whom they were laughing, on Ria's state or on themselves.

" what happened jiju?? You and di are laughing alone?" asked Payal.

"nothing Payal... your di just told me a joke..." said Arnav taking Ria fully in his arms.

"what... Arnavji ?? hawww!!! I didn't told you a ..." Khushi tried out but then when she saw Arnav smirking at her she shut her mouth.

Arnav just leaned closer to Khushi in the pretence of putting down Ria and whispered " do you want me to tell Payal that we were laughing on Ria's state... that happened because you were staring at me."

"what ?? I was not stari... " Khushi said but then she realised she was a bit louder so she stopped.

"what you were not Khushi?" asked Arnav innocently knowing fully what Khushi wanted to say.

" Nothing..."said Khushi. "Laadgovernor." And muttered under her breath an ran out from there.

Everyone gathered in the dining area and started eating their food. Payal and Khushi served them for a while and then joined them. Khushi sat beside Arnav with Ria in her lap. She fed Ria and herself simultaneously.

Ria was more than enjoying her mami. She really felt like a princess with her. Khushi was also feeding Ria with all the motherly attitude that each and every women possess within her since birth. Seeing Khushi feeding Ria so affectionately chachi said " Khushi I am sure .. you will be a great mother beta."

At once Khushi and Arnav looked at each other and then immediately looked away blushing.

" see how they are blushing..." said dadi looking at them.

"if they will blush so much now then what will happen when they will actually become parents." Added Akash.

"then they will open a business of red colour." Said shyam laughing and digesting how the great A.S.R could blush.

One again Arnav and Khushi became the reason for their families entertainment and with that whole dinner proceeded with the continuous teasing and laughing.

After the dinner the elders of the family gathered in living room to discuss about the dates of engagement and marriage ceremonies whereas the younger team sat in the balcony.

"so maaji... we can go together to the mandir tomorrow and discuss the dates with panditji." Said garima.

"yes beta it will be right... in this way devimaiya's blessing will also be with our kids." Said dadi.

"so garima ji... it is final... we will come tomorrow to pick you up and we will go together." Said chachi.

"but what will we do?" asked manohar pointing toward shashi and himself.

"you two will drive us to the mandir!! And rest we can manage driver ji!!" said chachi smiling.

"haan haan... and you can also distribute sweets among the poors in the temple... it will be a good deed on your behalf." Added garima.

"as you say our highness." Both shashi and manohar said together making every one laugh.

"Arnav what are you doing with the mobile... go and take Khushi and talk to her for sometime." Said shyam who saw Arnav busy with the mobile.

"but jiju... you know that if I will ask Khushi to come and talk with me my mad family will start over all again. I don't have any problem with that but maybe Khushi have" Said Arnav sadly. "god knows how can they tease someone so much in one day." He added.

Shyam chuckled at his salesahab's helplessness but then as an elder brother said "no you go and ask Khushi for a walk in the terrace and I will see that no one teases you."

"really?? Thanks.!" Said Arnav happily.

"now lets go!!" said shyam and they walked towards the main group.

"Khushi if you don't have any problem can we go for a walk ALONE" said Arnav emphasising the word alone for all the other to understand.

"chottey...you don't want us to come with you...you have forgotten us so easily." Said anjali getting in the mood of brother teasing.

Arnav and shyam shared a glance with each other. Shyam understood and said in a naughty way " why ranisahiba.. did you remembered them all when we used to go for walk??"

'wow jiju... one sentence and everything perfect.' Thought arnav.

"ji?? I mean... no chottey ..go ...go for a walk... go" said anjali knowing that now that her husband has spoken for her brother he will definitely end up teasing her to hell.

Payal and akash also saw anjali's state and decided to be quite for saving themselves.

"so Khushi shall we go..." asked arnav again and placed his right hand infront of khushi.

Khushi looked at anjali...akash..payal and then at shyam. The other three were still in shock about how shyam was taking arnav's side and betraying them while shyam just nodded at Khushi to go ahead.

Khushi nodded to arnav and placed her hand in his and stood up.

"should we go to terrace?" asked arnav.

"this way..." this was all Khushi managed to say in all this process.

Arnav and Khushi went towards the terrace and as usual the grumpy payal and akash could not control themselves and said together "all the best".

Khushi just turned her head to see them and smiled a little while arnav only shook his head at them still holding khushi's hand.
