Sigh, K. This was a great double update - the turmoil that the two of them are going through is so normal and each one seems so right in where s/he is. There are virtues and vices on both ends and a history of two very different worlds. Their reactions to everything are so different. Sometimes, it truly makes me wonder if love is enough in such situations.

My husband and I are also as different as chalk and cheese to use the cliche but there are a few shared values that our relationship seems to rest on. Do these two have that ground?

I will be honest, I think Arnav's opposition to marriage comes from a very self assured heart - here is a man who wants for nothing - financial security, wealth, family that cares, women who will fall over their feet to be with him, employees who seem to look up to him for his opinions, a sharp, business mind - really what else could anyone want? Obviously there is no reason for him to feel the need for a security that the institution of marriage is supposed to be.

Marriage is all that - a promise - felt from the heart and acknowledged to the world - a promise for material and emotional security. If the woman is also just as secure in her own world and her own abilities, I see the rationale for Arnav being in a relationship with her. But this is Khushi - she is still a child-woman, she is still trying to find her place in the world. She will need everything that comes with commitment - isn't love a little about that. Yes, she has let her hormones and her heart take over. But life is about this, isn't it - some mistakes that teach you what it means to grow up.

Is this is a relationship meant to be? And who will decide what that relationship will finally be. Don't both of them have to take a few steps ahead and meet mid-way or is that another idea that has been drilled down our brains by society?

Like an accident waiting to happen, K. Like an accident waiting to happen. :)

Arnav's thoughts regarding the institution of marriage were so beautifully written down by you. Do i agree with him or not is a different point all together. But here is a man who is very clear about what he wants in his life, also at the same time making it very clear to khushi. What i like best about this arnav is that he is not painting a pretty picture and dangling a carrot in front of khushi by ever stating that he might reconsider his views on marriage. Hence there by giving khushi ample opportunity to back out of this relationship if she is not comfortable.

I just love this arnav, bas. Such a matured individual who is so sure himself. 😊

And what does khushi do? She proceeds with the relationship in the hope that she will get him to reconsider his views...Uff that girl really needs to get her act together and if she does get hurt then she has no one but herself to blame for the entire mess. 😡 But thank you for redeeming khushi a little by making her tell arnav that she is not completely ok by the 'no marriage' deal.

Wonder at times if khushi is really living in this world or in some LaLa land how could she assume that nobody in office will ever find out about her and Arnav. Come on its ASR whom you are dating and offices are generally hot beds for gossip...Put the 2 together and people are bound to talk. Everybody around khushi like payal, NK, Gitu and meera are more pragmatic about khushi and arnav's relationship than khushi herself.

Did i tell you that this Arnav is a sweetheart, guess i did but let me tell that once again. For going to meet khushi and the white lilies. The moments spent by them were such aww filled moments, had a big smile throughout. 😉

I think Arnav was very right when he told khushi that he deserves more trust that he is currently getting from khushi. Maybe khushi is right in her own way but at the moment i am getting slightly irked with her. (In fact having been upset with her and her reactions for quite some time now)

Arnav singh Raizada comes up with the most awesome dresses for his Girlfriend, hai such a pretty dress you had khushi wear..

Khushi and arnav's kisses had me reaching for cold water. It was so damn HOT ☺️

And just like that light goes up in khushi's brain and finally she comes face to face with what she is doing and maybe a call from her father must have burdened her guilt too..

But my heart goes out to Arnav, poor guy just when he is about to confess love; his girlfriend wants to call it quits.

Let me be honest not happy that you ended where you did but i guess after 9000 words you deserve some rest.

Just when Khushi took a leap of faith her father changed the dynamics of the game.

Seems like Arnav is in for a surprise.

Enjoyed reading about the weekend at the farmhouse.

Khushi's reaction to all the gossip was justified, must be difficult to handle considering the position she is in.

Arnav is such a gentleman.

Liked how you payed tribute to the victims of Bangladesh accident.

Omg! what an update! First, I have to thank you for the super long update that you gave us :) and secondly, I loved the progression of the story in this chapter. I am truly scared regarding the next chapter. I hope they dont break up so soon :(

As scared as I am, I cant wait for the next update :)

Thanks for the long update!! I guess her father is pressuring her to marry. It's interesting to see two people with different beliefs trying to make it work.

what is happening? is it roller coaster ride or what one minute they make up next they break it...it is not good for our hearts ...and but that khushi said '' she can't do it' is that she can't marry avinash or she can't be with arnav...very good update and very soon as well...can't wait for next update
