Hmmm... Arnav should not have behaved like that with Kushi. She is, after all, his wife to be. He cannot treat her like she is of no consequence. And it's not as if he has been a saint and not said things to hurt her. He just told her about Payal, a sister she loves, no matter what. So why should it be OK for him to say whatever he wants, but not for her. Instead of excluding her in his emotions, he needs to include her, so that he and
they can move forward.
As for Kushi, understandably, she is upset that he is bad mouthing her sister without any proof. (Obviously, she cannot fathom the deceit Payal is capable of, simply, because it would never cross her mind. Since she is not like that!) And she is apologetic for what she said. At least, she was prepared to make amends about what she said, instead of like him, yelling at her, when she did not believe him about Payal.
This whole scenario makes Arnav look like a hypocrite who practices double standards! I would not expect that from him. Especially where Kushi is concerned. He needs to be the one to go to her and apologize. I hope you don't turn her into a dithering idiot. Who would have others treat her like a doormat. Inconsequential. (Please, we had enough of that in the show!) He had no right to treat her so disrespectfully. In his office. In front of other people.
And there were those four pairs of eyes, again. Who do these belong to. And they need to be together. So, I gather two are female. I would guess, one would be Aman/Lavanya. The other?
Thanks for the PM. Waiting to read that Arnav takes a long hard look at himself and his behavior towards Kushi. Not just this time. But for times to come. What is he expecting from her. What does he want from this relationship? How is he going to treat her? Is he always going to kick her out, when she does something he does not like? But he expects to be treated with respect and demands loyalty when he behaves in a less desirable manner? Is this the kind of relationship he wants? How much does he care for Kushi? Does he love her?
I think it's time for Arnav to have some introspection. Hopefully, he will realize his true feelings for Kushi and begin building for a future where both will be equals and both will be unafraid to say what they want. Without the fear of being shut off or kicked out! An honest, open, communicative relationship.
Kushi needs to do some introspection, too. What does she want out of this relationship. Is she prepared to be shut off every time? Is she prepared to be treated as less than an equal partner? Is she prepared to be treated with disrespect? What does she feel for Arnav? And how much crap is she prepared to take from him? What about her dignity?
I think the point in their relationship has arrived now, where they both need to look at things, and themselves in a different light. They cannot keep going the way they have, with a laissez-faire attitude.
