Taani's Point of View

"You know how his brother got arrested for having drugs? I heard that the drugs were actually his, but he lied types and said they were his brothers so he wouldn't get in trouble."

"Really?" I ask, spinning around to face my best friend Aashi. She puts her bag in her locker, pulling out the books she needed and turns to face me

"Yeah, Rhea told me. Hey, let's go we're going to be late for class." She starts walking and I grab my books and follow.

"How would Rhea know?" I ask as we walk into the classroom and take our seats.

"Rhea is really good friends with Anush, who used to be really good friends with Rey. Anush told Rhea practically everything about Rey, which is really stupid since she couldn't keep a secret if her life depended on it" Aashi explains

"Why would Anush betray him like that? I mean, they were best friends right? Before he moved to the US" I ask confused.

"Used to be. Turns out Rey slept with Anush's sister, and well needless to say, they aren't exactly on speaking terms." I roll my eyes at the new piece of information. Other than an absolutely rude human being, Reyaansh Singhania was a known Casanova.

"Doesn't surprise me."

Everyone pours into the classroom after a while. I say hi to all of my friends and then open my books to take notes. After being in class for about 30 minutes, I look to the side exhausted of taking notes. I see the window move a bit, but ignore it. But then, I see the window open and Rey slowly crawls into the classroom and into the seat, which the professor was totally oblivious to since his back was facing the class.

I shake my head and then busy myself again. When class ends, I and my friends walk into canteen like always and sit down on our regular table.

"Hey Rey, come join us." Bhai shouts. I guess, I was so engrossed in my conversation with my other best friend and bhai's girlfriend Sharon, I didn't notice him. Irritated, I get up from my seat and move to the far corner, so I don't have to face him.

Rey walks up to us, and grabs a seat, slamming himself onto it. "Guys, this is Rey, I'm sure you know who he is."

"Yeah, we do" replies Nil.

"Well Rey, this is Vicky, Neha, Bharat, Aashi, Nilesh, Simmi, Rinni, Amar and Sharon, my girlfriend." Swayam says proudly. "Vicky and Neha are dating, Bharat and Aashi, Nil and Simmi, and Rinni and Amar are also dating."

"Cool, all couples and stuff. Anyways, where can I get food?" Rey asks calmly. What the hell? How can he act so nice with everyone but is so cold to me. I didn't even do anything to him. But Taani, it's not like he did anything to you, and you act cold towards him too. Ugh Shuttup Taani.

"Over there" Vicky says pointing to the counter. "Alright, thanks." Rey grabs his wallet, and takes out his money. "Shit"

"What happen?" asks Amar. "Nothing, I just forgot to convert my money from dollars into rupees." Rey says, as if nothing was wrong. "Here, I'll give you some." I look up at my brother, shocked. Bhai never gave me money, when I asked for it, yet he was here, giving it to Rey.

"Nah, don't worry. I'll manage." I see Rey walk up to a girl in the canteen. He places his hand on her back and starts rubbing it. I couldn't exactly hear the conversation, but from the looks of it, Rey had managed to get money out of the poor girl.

I get up in anger, and march over to them. I walk really close to his back and at that same moment, he turned around, causing me to stumble backwards. Rey instinctively reaches out and grabs my hips to steady me. Once he realizes it's me, he hastily removes his hands

"Sorry," I mumble, looking down awkwardly

"Whatever. Watch where you're going" he says harshly. My head snaps up.

"You have no right-"

"Shut up," He growls as he shoulders his way past me. I stare after him, shocked. I regain myself quickly, though and chase him on his way to the counter. I grab his arm and jerk him backward.

"Listen, you-you'Chuha!" I shout, glaring up at him. He raises an eyebrow.

"you-you chuha?" He mimics. "I'm sorry I didn't know you had a hard time differentiating between animals and humans" He smirks causing anger to burn inside me

"I don't" The smirk disappears off his face and makes its way onto mine. 1 point for Taani, 0 points for Rey. I turn around to walk away. "Then, you probably also know that you look like a chipkali." He shouts from behind me, causing the whole canteen to go quiet and a few girls to snicker. I turn around and march up to him, burning with anger.

"What the hell do girls see in you? I yell, glaring at him, "You're a total asshole!"

"I'm only an asshole to girls like you Taani." He turns and walks to the counter, not even looking at me.

I glare at everyone in the canteen, forcing them to go back to what they were doing. "Girls like me?" I ask

"Good Girls, Daddy's Little Princess."

"I am not a good girl."

"Oh really? What's the worst thing you've done?" He grabs his burger and pays for it, then glares down at me. I frown.

"That's none of your business" He rolls his eyes, and turns around to walk towards the gang. I walk faster beside him and stop him.

"Just admit it Taani, you've never done anything bad. You're a good girl." He says.

"I am not"

"Whatever, I'm done talking to you." He walks to the gang and sits down. I stand in my spot for a few more minutes, fuming, before stomping back to the gang and sitting beside Sharon once again. I turn to her.

"Am I a good girl?"

"You're joking right?"

"So, I'm not?"

"Taani, you are the goodest girl I know." She says as if she was saying a positive thing.

"Goodest isn't a word."

"It is when it comes to you."

I clench my hand into a fist. The whole day goes by, me ignoring Rey and Rey ignoring me. When me bhai and Rey get home, kaka comes up to us.

"Swayam baba, your dad called and said his meeting has been extended so he will be back after a week."

Swayam nods and kaka continues. "Also, I ordered the pizza you wanted and it's in the kitchen."

"Oh yay, thanks kaka." I hug him and then skip over to the kitchen. I walk into the kitchen, grab a plate and put a slice on it. I know, I know cheese is so boring but it's not like I have a choice. The other one is bhai's favorite and only god knows what's on it. Rey walks into the kitchen and looks at the other pizza, then turns towards confused.

"I don't even know." I answer his unasked question. Swayam walks in, grabs his pizza and quickly starts eating it.

After a while, everyone has finished eating pizza and I walk towards to the stairs when I hear, someone talking on their phone. I identify the voice as Rey's and lean in to get a clearer sound.

"Man, yeah India's so hot, but their dad isn't going to be here for a week, so to celebrate I'm going to throw a party tomorrow night. Yeah, I'll text you later. Bye." I walked to Rey and tapped on his shoulder. He turned around and his calm face turned into an angry scowl.

Without uttering a word, he walks away. "You're not throwing a party." I say

He turns around and narrows his eyes. "I do what I want," he says pissed off and then walks away to his room. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Nice update. Chuha and Chipkali scene was funning 😆. Taani was annoyed knowing that she is the goodest girl 🤣. Well curious to know what happens in the party if Taani let Rey keep one. Update soon
