"Why does he have to yell?" Taani whispered to her older brother Swayam. "Maybe he thinks, because they're in the US, they won't be able to hear him" Swayam whispered back, humor evident in his eyes.

Taani giggled but remembering what her dad had told her a few hours ago made her face go sour.

Flashback (A few hours back)

"Taani, Swayam, come downstairs" yelled Swayam and Taani's dad from the bottom of the stairs. Taani ran downstairs at once, shortly followed by Swayam.

"Yeah Dad?" Swayam said while checking something on his phone. "Someone's coming to visit us and I need you two to go pick him up because I have to go for a meeting tonight to Mumbai and he arrives in the evening"

"Yeah Sure Dad" Taani said "but who?"

"Reyaansh Singhania, my friend's son. He's coming to do his final year of college with you guys at St. Louis" Mr. Shekhawat replied. "THE REYAANSH SINGHANIA?" Taani almost yelled back.

"Yes, the Reyaansh Singhania." Mr. Shekhawat said biting his lip in nervousness. He knew his daughter didn't like Rey much because of what she had heard.

"Are you out of your mind dad? You're going to let that .. that delinquent stay with us? He can't even respect his own parents, how is he going to respect us? He's the all-time Casanova and he's gotten arrested before. What were you thinking when you invited him? And why didn't you tell us before?" Taani rambled on and on about how this was such a stupid idea.

"Taani, calm down, he's just coming to stay with us, not permanently moving into our house." Swayam said while trying to calm down his sister.

"Bhai, one whole year. Is that not long enough?" Taani argued back

"Stop Taani, I didn't invite him here, Raj (Rey's dad) asked me if he could come live with us and I and Raj have been best friends since we were 5 and Raj helped me start this company. I can't just say no. No arguments, he's coming and you and swayam are going to pick him up." Mr. Shekhawat said in an authorial voice, shutting Taani up.

"Fine" Taani huffed and stamped her way up the stairs to her bedroom.

End of Flashback

"Let's go Taani, we're going to be late" Swayam yelled from downstairs. Taani sighed and brushed her hair. Looking in the mirror satisfied with her outfit, she walked out of the room.

"Is that what you're wearing?" Swayam's inner possessive brother spoke. "Yeah" Taani looked down at her outfit confused. She wore this type of clothing all the time.

"Are you sure" Swayam asked again. "Yeah, why? What's wrong?" Taani asked confused.

"Nothing, It's just that this Rey guy, we don't know him and he's coming from the US, and you know right their mentality is different than ours. I don't want him thinking anything like that about you."Swayam said nervous, hoping his sister wouldn't get mad.

"EW bhai, how can you even think that?" Taani said outraged. "You're right, you're right, this was stupid." Swayam said quickly to cover himself up.

Taani and Swayam got into their car and took off to the airport. After 30 minutes, they got there and rushed out of the car into the airport.

Taani - Oh no bhai, we're late

Swayam - I know, run.

TaaYam got to the waiting section and immediately put up their sign that said, "Reyaansh Singhania." After about 10 minutes of waiting, Taani got irritated

"Oh look, the delinquent is late" Taani said with pure sarcasm.

"Actually No, the delinquent isn't late, the people who were supposed to pick him up are." A voice boomed from behind Taani. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

So guys, this was the first part and yeah i know i know, this was really short, but it was just to warm you guys up to the story. Anyways comment/like please !
