"Swayam'" Sharon called finding a moment alone with him.

"Yea?" He immediately turned to her.

"I'm so sorry! We can't go to lunch today. I kinda made Kriya agree to go on lunch and then you asked and I just said yes without realizing. I'm such an idiot! I just didn't think." She continued to blabber while Swayam gazed at her with delight. Seeing this side of Sharon was a treat.

His attempts at making her stop were futile. He finally held her hand and got her attention. "It's okay. We'll go tomorrow."

She smiled. "I'm sorry." still feeling guilty.

"You're always the one to understand. I wish I could do something to make it up to you."

His wheels turned in his head. "You could'" He said after a second thought.

She asked promptly. "Which is?"

"Tell you tomorrow." He quickly replied seeing Rey's constant messages. "Your best friend needs me. Again." He was a bit frustrated but then again, friends were friends. Sharon chuckled at his plight and the way he mentioned Rey.

"I'll call you later?" he asked. She simply nodded and watched him go reluctantly. She prayed for life to be like this everyday. To start with him and to end with him. He made her happy.

"I am going to end up killing you one day," Swayam announced entering the basketball court.

Rey replied casually, making a basket. "As long as it's after you help me."

Swayam rolled his eyes. Why did he always get stuck with helping Rey out of situations? "What did you do now?"

"I might have challenged myself into getting permission from Kriya's mom to take her out on an official date." he mumbled, not daring to look at Swayam.

As expected, Swayam blasted. "You did WHAT?!" And then when Rey stayed silent, Swayam laughed hysterically. "Dude! You can't even look at her without going weak on your knees. Good luck out of this one1"

"You've got to help me!" Rey pleaded. Swayam was inclined to say no simply to see his friend suffer and watch him make a spectacle out of himself. Then his good side finally won.

"Fine, but you're doing all the hard work."

"Don't I always?" Rey flashed him a grin and took him in a hug before Swayam backed out.

Sitting down leaning on the wired fence, Swayam repeated, "You're really taking her out on a date!" Normally, Swayam would have pondered over that before asking what mess Rey got himself into. But in this situation, this came second.

"Yea, I am."

"If you're going tomorrow, you need to go now and get permission."

"But how? I'm scared! Have you seen how scary she can be?"

Swayam chuckled. "She allowed Kriya to come back here and patch up with you. I'm sure she won't bite you for asking. Just go."

Sharon and Kriya met at lunch time in the cafeteria as decided. They started planning and settling the things one after another. Sharon's phone beeped and she grinned. Kriya thought it might be Swayam so she decided to tease Sharon.

"Someone special?"

Sharon nodded. "Dad." Kriya's face went blank as Sharon continued, "He's coming back in couple days. I'm so happy!" Kriya gave her a weak, plastered smile and returned to work.

Felt sad 4 kria😔 yes..

Before they knew it, the hour had passed and it was almost time for their next class. They got up to leave. Kriya stopped seeing Taani and told Sharon to carry on. She walked up to Taani.

Taani looked up from her book seeing a shadow approach her. Seeing Kriya, she put on a smile. "Hi."

She smiled back. "Hi, can I?" She asked. Tanni nodded and Kriya took the seat next to her. "Thank you' for that day. For helping me out."

"No biggie." Taani replied.

"No, It is a big deal. You didn't have to help me. You didn't even know me. Yet you helped me. Thank you. If you hadn't, the misunderstanding would have lead to something bigger and Rey and I wouldn't be together. So a part of thanks does go to you."

It hurt Taani when Kriya said 'together' but she believed it to be her problem. Her love for Rey was always one-sided and she couldn't really blame Rey for that. She always knew Rey loved her; even when he would talk to her and spend time with her. One person unhappy against two person happy - the odds were definitely not in her favor.

She put on a smile that didn't really reach her eyes and repeated the logo, "Anything for friends, right?" Kriya could see she was faking it. But if Taani didn't want her to know, then she would pretend to not know the fact that Taani wasn't happy.

Sad 4 Tanni...4 the 1st tym ever..I hav got sum oder feeling 4 tanni oder dan Hatred..All thanks 2 ur potrayl of Tanni😉 And I feel honored for that. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart!! 🤗

Rey took a final deep breath before ringing the bell. Minutes later, Smriti opened the door. Upon seeing her, all the confidence Rey had gathered vanished. His smile went flat. Smriti welcomed him in.

"Shouldn't you be in college?" She questioned. He felt like he was about to be interrogated for a serious felony.

"It's lunch time." Rey managed to reply.

"And you're here because'?" They hadn't even sat down yet and she was already bombarding questions on him. For a microsecond, Rey considered leaving but then gathered the courage to reply.

"I sort of wanted permission to take Kriya out on a date." He spit it out in one go. Smriti stared back at him. Silence followed. He was getting scared.

"Why do you need my permission?" she asked.

"Because I was hoping to spend the whole day with her?" he replied, unsure where the conversation would lead.

"You mean skip college?" She rephrased it into better words.

Staring at the ground, he slowly nodded, fearing his head might be chopped off the next second.

Swayam went over to help Kriya with the program events and finalizing the order of performances. Shivam was watching them silently, plotting his next move. He saw Taani pass by and purposefully stopped her and brew up a conversation. Not able to ignore him, she smiled and replied back. Swayam noticed after few minutes and even though he looked at Shivam with anger, he couldn't do anything. He had warned Shivam and even Taani to stay away from Shivam.

Again...😡😡😡Ye Shivam ki to me😡😡 - - - - x_x

Minutes later, Rey came there and glared at Shivam, forcing him with just his glare to back off. Taani, unaware of this as her back faced Rey, simply continued walking when he abruptly left. Rey followed and stopped her just as she reached Swayam and Kriya.

"Don't you know when to listen?" he got mad at her.

"I'll listen if I want to." She replied back bluntly.

Rey sighed. "We're only looking out for you. Shivam is not a nice guy."

"Oh ya? Takes one to know one right?"

Kriya stepped in between. "Please guys, we don't need to argue." She turned to Kriya. "Taani, Rey isn't wrong here. We know Shivam longer than you. Yes, some people change but Shivam isn't the one to fit in that category. You don't have to listen to us if you don't want to. But for your sake, I hope you'll be careful around him."

"I'm not a kid. I don't need you all to babysit me."' She left angry leaving the papers in her hand on the table, the one's Swayam had asked her to bring.

Hope Taani understand them ...

College was out and everyone was heading home. Rey told Kriya, "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Aren't you going home?"

He looked over at Taani working in the library and Shivam just around her. Kriya followed her gaze. "No, I think I'm gonna hang around a bit longer." She nodded.

"'Kay, call me if you need anything." She replied, approving and understanding why he was staying back.

Gud 2 see the same understanding btwn Kriyaansh😳😳 They better understand each other :P

"Swayam? Is everything alright?!" Sharon rushed in the boys locker room. It was late night and suddenly, Swayam had called her and told her to meet him. He didn't state a reason. A tensed Sharon quickly left her house. She looked around to not see him. She heard water running in the washroom and felt awkward suddenly. She asked from outside, "Swayam?"

No reply. She decided to go check the rehearsal room when suddenly, a pair of hands covered her eyes. She was about to get hyper when he hushed her, whispering in her ear. "Shh, it's me."

She relaxed. "Keep 'em closed." She did but that didn't stop her from questioning. "You're fine? Do you have any idea how worried I got?! This is no way to call me here."

"SHH!" He whispered a bit loudly than before and she realized just how close his face was to hers. She froze and stammered, "Where'where are you' taking me?"

He didn't reply. He simply made her follow. She stumbled a few times but Swayam held her just perfectly. Then opening a squeaky door, he allowed her to open her eyes. She saw herself standing at the top of the old stair case. All the past memories rushed to her.

This was the place where she found out Swayam was her secret admirer. The same place where they had 'separated'. The same place that had angered Swayam beyond control because of what she had said. The place where their book had been closed by her. A soft tear pricked her eyes. Sensing her getting emotional, he made her turn to her.

"Hey, I didn't bring you here to make you feel guilty." Stiffly, she nodded. He cupped her face in his palm and wiped her tears. Then letting his hands slide down her arm, he entwined their fingers and lead her till the end of the stairs.

"As it's said, begin the stopped from where it ended." He spoke referring to their closed book. He wanted it to being from where it was kept on hold. From the same place. "This place will be special to me not because our relationship ended here. But because now, it'll re-begin from here itself."

She sniffed and nodded. "It will always be special to me. I got my secret admirerand you here." Then she laughed at herself. "How stupid was I to force you away from me!"

"You're a changed Sharon now. One who isn't afraid to let others know she too cares and is a human being as well." He replied, justifying her actions. She was once again in a state of awe. After everything, here he was, still caring about her and justifying her actions when she very well could imagine how much pain her actions must have caused him.

At lack of words, all she could do was go up to him and hug him. It might never be too late to share the pain she herself made him go through. "You're the best thing that I can proudly call mine." She whispered in her ear, unwilling to let him go.

He hugged her back with just as much passion. He couldn't ask for anything else. "Humesha se bas yahi guzarish hai ki tum humesha khush raho. With me or without'"

He was interrupted. "Khabardar." She threatened him covering his mouth.

"Too emotional?" He asked diverting the topic, enquiring. He had brought her here to spend some quality time and had ended up turning the environment to be too heavy with bunch of emotional talks. She shook her head.

"Just perfect." She entwined her hand in his and pulled him down. At first, he gaped at her, shocked. Sharon Rai Prakash, sitting on a dirty stair and not worrying about sanitation?! Then he chuckled at his own thought when with eyes, she asked him why he looked shocked
